I stayed at Moose Hotel for 2 nights. The location was excellent. Staffs were friendly, room was clean and plenty of room for 2. There was a restaurant in the hotel, we had breakfast there, service was slow and foods was okay. There were plenty of choices down the road though. My other family member stayed in a suite in the hotel. There was a small kitchenette and a small living room area. She also liked what she was in too. I would recommend this hotel!

Excellent location with all the amenities. Clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the open air feel of the hotel with a little bit of history kept in the middle of the hotel.

We spent six nights at the Moose Hotel and Suites and loved every minute !! Exceptionally clean, spacious and well-maintained rooms that felt like a resort with lots of natural lighting throughout our one-bedroom suite. The hotel staff were friendly, kind and helpful with any needs. We ate at the on-site restaurant three times (breakfast twice and dinner once), and both food and service were excellent. The included underground parking and Roam bus passes were a welcome perk. **Thank you so much** to everyone at The Moose; we can't wait to come back!!

We stayed 3 nights in Banff in the Moose Hotel having arrived in Calgary from London. The room we were first allocated wasn’t very good so we asked to change . The staff on the front desk showed us 2 other rooms and we chose a lovely room. The staff were extremely helpful not only with the room but also giving us bus passes so we could go up and down the valley on the bus hopping on and off ! Great fun They also booked the Gondola (cable car) for us The hotel has a lovely indoor pool on the top floor which was refreshingly cool so swimming was a must but you can always warm up in the outdoor enormous hot tubs. They were such a treat and a sociable place. They also had a fire pit area with generous seating which they light at night. The views were amazing from there The location of the Hotel is also brilliant as others have said it is such an easy walk into town where there are numerous bars and restaurants. You can also walk down the river to the cascade along designated paths crossing bridges - the views are incredible with the surrounding mountains having remains of winter snow despite the sunshine The only slight down side to the hotel is the restaurant which is just ok but you have such a choice up and down the road you don’t have to use it. I would recommend staying at the Moose for the great service at the front desk, rooms, swimming facilities and the location

Great hotel. We stayed in a two bedroom suite as a family of 4 adults and it worked brilliantly. Great location, clean and comfortable hotel. If we are able to return to Banff we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed in 1 bedroom suite with family of 4 (including 2 teens) The location is perfect. You can walk to center of town with many restaurants/shops, a block from Roam (local transit bus) and many of the tour companies pick up at the Elk hotel two addresses down and IGA grocery. *this was not vounteered at check in but if you ask, you get free bus passes for the Roam bus. I think you might be able to rent/barrow bear spray--I would ask before I bought some. I did not know and spent $60 on a can The whole property is airy with many of rooms opening to outdoor walkway and visually appealing with wild flowers and art. Never feel crowded. There is a very nice smell the the property from the spa during the day and firepits at night. There is small balcony. AC worked well. Room tight when sofa bed extended. The suite included beer fridge, microwave, and single cup coffee maker with quite good coffee inserts. One large well appointed bathroom, one closet only but does have a safe The room was clean and smelled fresh. King bed very comfortable and many pillows. Only complaint was sofa an unfortunate tan and slightly dingy but still quite clean. The parking was free and not overcrowded but beware, a little hard to navigate with tight turns in and out. The staff was friendly . The cleaning staff was very efficient and effective. All in all, this was a great place to take a break in between excursions, grab breakfast and hang out at night. You can smell the pines from the balcony and were saw many interesting things from our vantage point including deer, different goings on but NO BEARS!! Yet it was quiet at night and no trouble sleeping. There are numerous wonderful restaurants in Banff and we were happy to be able to walk to dinner. We were not able to reserve one but I think a two bedroom might be even better for a party of 4. Highly recommend Banff and this hotel

Booked the hotel months in advance unfortunately at the time of booking our booking agent failed to include the information that we would be traveling with our pet and required a pet friendly room. However the friendly and polite ladies at the front desk fixed this and had us in a pet friendly room promptly. Next time I book. I will confirm prior to our arrival to save the front desk the troubles. To our surprise our second floor 2 queen bed hotel room had an awesome mountain view! We booked this hotel because all the rooms had a balcony which is lovely to enjoy the views and mountain air. I love the outdoorsy themed rooms the artwork is very nice and the outdoor hotel spaces were very nice as well. We had great access to the outdoors to walk our little Yorkie. Our room was perfect for a family of four. We liked the free underground parking and the hotel is close to all the shopping and restaurants so you don’t have to drive at all. We got to enjoy the indoor pool and roof top hot pool with the kids. The pool is small but our kids are only 6 and 7 so it was great. We also had the pool to ourselves which was awesome! They also loved the hot pool after. The views were very cool! I enjoyed this hotel and would definitely book here next time we come to Banff.

Hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable and the location was perfect. On the edge of (car-free) downtown, allowing for easy parking access but short walk to lovely restaurants and other stores. Room had a small deck but just right for morning coffee. The rooftop hot tub overlooking the mountains was a great end to each day.

My husband and I stayed at 4 hotels during the week that we toured the Canadian Rockies. The Moose Hotel was our favorite. It had all the features that we wanted. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel is well-located and an easy (5-minute) walk from the downtown area as well as being close to the main Roam Shuttle bus stop. We learned that using shuttles in Banff makes touring much easier. The restaurant in the hotel, Pacini, was great and we enjoyed the Bread Bar, both at Breakfast and at Dinner. As for the hotel room - it was airconditioned. I know that for most of the year this is not relevant but when it is hot outside, airconditioning is very relevant - even in the Canadian Rockies. The room was decorated beautifully and had plenty of places to charge devices with USB cords - something that other hotels that we stayed at on this vacation lacked. The bed was comfortable, too. There was a microwave and a small refrigerator in the room. We loved the fact that there is a small house in the hotel's courtyard - so fun! We hope to return to Banff in the future and stay at the Moose hotel again.
