The Seaview White House is six km. from the capital city and seemed to suit the parameters we were looking for. The property is privately held but not a B&B (NO breakfast at all although we were offered coffee). Perhaps miscommunication, but we thought it was a B&B. I booked a ”family” suite on the second floor which seemed to work. Upon arrival, it proved to be a well-appointed (if a little worn) suite with a very large bathroom (twin underset sinks, jacuzzi tub, large walk-in shower), master bedroom with a king-size sleigh bed, daybed/lounge, and futon which was way to hard to use for sleeping. The owner is pleasant but was not helpful on any questions about local food etc... I would not want to stay here unless you have a second floor room as noise would be an issue.

Good news... Stayed three nights in family room B. Super clean, spacious room with large, modern, private bath and large closet. 5 Minute drive to beach, 10 minutes to grocery and gas, and 15 minute to Charlottetown water front. 30 c and humid during stay, a/c worked perfectly.
Bad news... Little to no common area sound proofing, you hear all other guest movement on stairs and in hallways. Sunrise was very bright, room darkening shades were not available. No in-room refrigerator or microwave. No shelving in shower. It's really a bed and no breakfast, complimentary coffee and dry toast only things available, Language barrier big time, unless fluent in Cantonese. English and/or French, not so much. When asked for the wifi code, the response was 4648. Bandwith on wifi was low, lots of buffering.
The ugly.. Overdue for exterior pant job, grass was overgrown upon arrival and no signage at all. Have a picture handy at check in.

Having come from Fox Harb’r this was a bit of a letdown. The hotel is boxy and older so not the feel of a luxury resort. Breakfast was in the next building so a walk outside. Certainly adequate. We played Brudenell the next day. We loved the course but it clearly had lots of play with ball marks impeding putts. We would agree that the course was great fun and well within our range. Worth playing along with Crowbush when you are here.

We stayed in the room that is on the main floor. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Anytime someone flushed the toilet in the room above, the noise was ridiculous; the water was draining through a pipe in the wall in our room, right by our head, so each time someone flushed the toilet, or had a shower, we were woken up. The noise from the people above was too loud. We had a terrible sleep. We booked for 2 nights, only stayed 1. We complained, asked for our money back, but never received a refund. The owner did say we would get a free night if we return and then we could stay in another room, however we don't go to PEI often, therefore we would have preferred our money back for the night we did not stay. I would not stay there again.

Loved this place! It had everything: Room was beautiful, quiet and serene setting king bed very comfortable, lovely view of water from bay window, huge bathroom with double sink, a heart shaped tub, large ceramic floor to ceiling shower with sliding doors. Room was spotless. For TV watchers, a large TV and setee lounger. Also a single bed. The doors to the bathroom have glass so best as a couples room. There was coffee provided in the beautiful kitchen downstairs. We brought bread and peanut butter so made our own breakfast which worked out great. The owner is so accommodating and sweet! She is Asian and been in Canada for 8 yrs and loves to talk to guests. Highly recommend this spot.

Room Tip:A gem of a place not far from Charlottetown. Very clean, peaceful and close to beaches on Stratford.

We stayed hear for two nights while we were visiting PEI. The B&B is a very clean private home that has been converted into a B&B. Our hostess, Anna, went out of her way to prepare breakfast for us and to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house is very nicely-decorated with gardens and a deck on the back overlooking the water.

The Seaview Whitehouse is conveniently located just a few minutes from downtown Charlottetown and the Confederation Theatre. Just down the hill is the wonderful south shore Tea Hill Beach Park with the warmest waters we have ever experienced in Canada. You can walk for miles along the shore at low tide and despite the heat, it never seemed to be crowded. Jason, our host was very kind and thoughtful. We had a family suite on the second floor with two bedrooms, an adjoining bath and a balcony with a view of the ocean. The entrance to the guest suites does not pass through private parts of the home and it is like a small inn. Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9:30 and includes a wonderful assortment of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, juice ,eggs and bacon. We have stayed in many other Charlottetown hotels but this bed and breakfast was our best experience yet. It was so close to the city centre but just seconds from a beautiful beach. The rooms and the beds are comfortable and very clean. The Seaview was a welcoming place to return home to at the end of the day. We will definitely return here next year.

While we were looking for a room in Charlottetown, the Seaview White House is six km. from the capital city and seemed to suit the parameters we were looking for. Upon arrival, it proved to be a well-appointed (if a little worn) suite with a very large bathroom (twin underset sinks over antique-ish cabinets, jacuzzi tub, large walk-in shower), master bedroom with a king-size sleigh bed, daybed/lounge, and futon. The backyard seemed to be pleasant and on a sunny day would be enjoyable although I’m not sure that the partial ocean view would be visible from that vantage point. We had a few issues getting the heat going (it used an unusual, not intuitive system) but the owner was there to explain it. We were surprised to find that only Netflix was provided, which we couldn’t get to work. That said, the location would make for a good jumping off point to explore the capital city.
