We were very impressed with this campsite. We were in a camper and used a powered site. The price was very good (almost unbelievable). There was fairy lights up that the kids loved. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers were clean. Showers were $1 for 4min and were great pressure and temperature. There is a public dump station very handy just outside the front gate.

We stayed here one night in a campervan. The couple "caretakers" were both very friendly, lovely touches with flowers cut and potted everywhere. This is just a small place but suited our needs. We would recommend.

Such a beautiful campsite. We have traveled NZ for over a month now and this is by far one of the nicest and cleanest campsites we have stayed in. The bathrooms are just amazing and so clean. The owners do such an amazing job. Thanks for a great stay. Mags and Shane (Ireland)

We stayed here for one night on our way between Arthur's pass and Christchurch. Compared to some of the campsites we've used this was quite basic, but in its way it was better than many others. The toilet block was spotlessly clean, there was a comfortable lounge room, the fee was really reasonable, and best of all we were given a very warm welcome and made to feel at home immediately. Altogether a lovely place to stay
