I arrived a Jasmine hostel in November 2019 with the intention to the loop after a 1 nights stay due to arriving late.

The stay was very comfortable, showers and facilities were pretty clean. The family dinner in the evening was really good and pretty cheap.

In the morning we got to have a go on a few different bikes to see which one we wanted to pick for the loop.

Bikes selcted when then had a meeting with staff and was given maps and routes, I opted to stay not too far from the guide and group as it made the whole process hassle free.

As we set off the guide was at the front and an easyrider would be at the rear making sure no one was lost.

I chose to do the 3 night 4 day loop, the guid and coffee as well as lunch every day. The highlight of the trip apart from the stunning scenery was the evenings when we arrived at the hostels in the different towns on the loop. Everyone in our group enjoyed plenty of drinks, food, karakoke and just had a good time.

I can't recommend going with Jasmine hostel enough.

Big thanks to Henry our guide.

Super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Accommodate your bags while you do the loop on bikes rented from them at a reasonable price, they’ll even teach you to ride if needs be. Really good English speakers and good beds for the night.

Jasmine hostel was lovely and an amazing place! Clean facilities, good food and lovely people! You can rent towels with a deposit of 100,000 and they also allow you to check in late at night after the sleeper bus!

Thank you for everything. Thuy and her husband were absolutely lovely. I feel at home with them. They are super nice, super pleasant and smiling (and I'm not exaggerating!!). They are there to advise you and help you adapt to what you want to do. It's the perfect place to rent a motorbike to go around the area or to go with someone who drives for you (the driver drives very well and you feel safe!!). You can leave your things and they lend you a bag if you need it. The motorcycles are in very good condition and the helmets. The price is absolutely right and they even invite you to join them for dinner with their family. This is the perfect place to go in Ha Giang.

Tour was awesome definitely a must do in northern Vietnam. I highly recommend creating a group chat either at the family style dinner the night before or early on the trip. The guides are great but it’s not like a tour guide that is responsible for everyone so the chat can help of people people catch up if they get separated

Can't remember when i was that much disappointed by a place which calls itself a "hostel". As we usually do, we didn't book in advance and just went there as we saw online that there are enough beds free. So we showed up, checked again online (around 10 beds available). As they realized we already came with a scooter they told us they were full. Instead of being very sorry they refused to answer any question we had. I wanted to ask about the loop she adviced me "kindly" to get advice from another hostel where we will stay. I saw a map of the loop with all the sights and asked if i could see it (it was on the bar table) before publicly visible to anyone. She pretended not to remember what i was talking about. Afterwards i saw it laying at a different place and kindly asked if i could take a picture. She told me it's only for customers who book the loop tour. After a short discussion i was allowed to take a picture. I was really shocked about the service level at this place. After we left, the beds could still have been booked (9in total) which underlines my theory, that this place doesn't care at all about guests not buying their service.

We were told to leave our bags in a storage room and I made it clear multiple times that I had valuables in my bag so to be careful. I returned to over $2000 worth of property damage and the company (despite the massive amount of money they are making daily) refused to take any responsibility at all. Instead they blamed me for leaving my bag in there. I contacted the manager to explain the situation and he ended the call and ignored my following calls. Very disappointing and Unprofessional. I recommend the Loop but not through this company as they are far more interested in the money they make over the experience you have with them.

Room Tip: Just choose another company. Both cheaper and probably more consideration of their customers.

We did the 3 night 4day trip and had a brilliant time. Half our group did easy rider and half drove themselves and all were happy with their drivers/ the guidance and support for those driving themselves. It is an amazing trip to do with Jasmine as you meet lots of people. The homestays are generally large rooms with mattresses on the floor but great locations and good food combined with happy water means you don't mind about the basic standard. Eye mask and ear plugs are crucial

Staff are very helpful. Despite the rooms being big the beds were cosy and each had a light and socket. They offer pasta and pizza too which is nice. Breakfast had lots of fruit and pancakes and freshly made eggs.
