The experience at La fattoria di Nonna Eugenia was great. Descriptions made by other travelers on airbnb were precise. It is a very nice place to make vacations and relax, the location (house and garden) is beautiful. Massimiliano and Marisol are warm and friendly persons and it makes a great pleasure to talk and listen to them. We will repeat the experience for sure! Thank you for your hospitality! I stayed at La 'Fattoria di Nonna Eugenia' as a customer for 5 nights in September whilst travelling through Italy and was lucky enough to have the privilege to stay for an extra month to teach English to Marisol and Massi's daughter. This highlights how beautiful this family is, welcoming, warm and inviting. First of all, the b&b itself is beautiful, then the land and the breathtaking view makes this place truly special. It almost feels like a sanctuary, everything is calm and silent, the garden is filled with hammocks, fruit trees, cactus, there's even an outdoor kitchen which can be used by customers. The family are extremely open and friendly, they helped with any query. A very special experience that I think would be hard to find anywhere else - the family's personality shines through the entire place and makes for a truly unique experience. My main attraction at first was the reasonable price which suited me as a traveller, I had no idea how much of a treat I was in for. Highly recommended!

This is the type of B&B we always look for. Homely, friendly owners and peaceful setting. The garden is wonderful, with hammocks and fruit trees and not a house, road or electricity pylon in sight. You definitely need a car or motorbike here (I recommend a motorbike as the whole of Lerici is closed to cars, but not to bikes), as it is up a fairly steep hill and a few kilometres from Lerici, but it is very conveniently placed for visiting the area. The B&B is in a pedestrian area in the village, but it is truly a very short walk and no inconvenience, in fact it makes it much quieter. Good breakfast with focaccia and their own home-made jams. Lots of helpful advice from Massimiliano and Marisol. The only improvement I would suggest is putting some soap and shampoo in the bathroom, and a couple of hand towels in addition to the bath towels. It is also very good value for this area, which tends to be quite expensive

Room Tip: We were in the room with an external bathroom, which didn't bother us as it is private anyway...

What we loved about staying here was the kindness of the proprietors and the beauty of the surrounding gardens. We had initially planned on taking public transportation here but decided at the last minute to rent a car. Good thing, because the "short walk" to Lerici is down a reasonably steep & windy hill, through a car tunnel with no sidewalk, and down a street with high traffic. And it's over 3k. The village of Cerri is very quaint, sweet, and quiet, and everyone is very nice. It's just a hike. And it's not an especially walkable one. I was under the impression that we'd have easy access to a kitchenette and internet, but the kitchen is actually in the proprietors' apartment and the internet is through a jump drive that's plugged in to their laptop. Not that you go on vacation and want to surf the web, but I'd saved a Google map with the things we wanted to explore in the area and it was basically impossible to access it unless we poached on the web at a hotspot in Lerici. Hot water was scarce. If you go in a shoulder season where it gets chilly at night, there's no heat and you wake up pretty chilly. It's an older house with thin floors and walls, so you can hear everything that's going on in other guest rooms and in the proprietors' apartment. Next time we go to this corner of the word, we'll probably spend the extra money to stay in town.
