I have no negative things to say about this hotel. It is a 10/10. We stayed in Akra V, apartment version of Akra hotel which is literally right opposite (2 min walk) I booked the room with a balcony and city view. I was shocked. I was expecting a little balcony, but it was a good decent size balcony. The hotel has its own cabs which have Akra written on it, always make sure they have the metre on (we were told about this in advance) the room service was good, they deliver the food from a restaurant that’s next door to the hotel. Room service is until 11pm. We learnt our lesson when we checked in at 1am to only realise there’s nothing to eat. There’s loads of food places near by. For food, pools, saunas etc we’re allowed to use the facilities at Akra hotel, as it was the sister version. For breakfast the staff at Akra V gave us vouchers to use at the cafe next door but we didn’t use them as we preferred to have breakfast at Akra. Getting to places was good as we were in the middle. It’s crazy how some places can be a 7 min drive or a 45 min walk. But we took cab everywhere and it was cheap. Land of Legends was the only cab ride that cost us the most out of every cab we took. It wasn’t as expensive as London. The staff at the hotel were really lovely and nice, especially one of the housekeepers, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. Would definitely go back to this hotel.

Akra V hotel is a cheaper version of the main Akra hotel. Please do your own research before booking for the hotel.
Personally, we have had an amazing experience on this trip. We still get to experience all the benefits in the main hotel ‘Akra’ e.g private beach area, superb breakfast, fine dining restaurants.
The pictures shown on this page is actually Akra hotel not the Akra V. However, if you choose to stay with Akra V (it is only an accommodation) , all you need to do is to walk 5 mins across the bridge to the main hotel and you will have all the benefits.
Overall, I think it is worth staying in the cheaper Akra V hotel and experience all the benefits instead of paying more than 100GBP a night for the main Akra hotel. The only thing is the convenience of not having the amenities mentioned above downstairs.

We booked this hotel as a "cheap" stay in Antalya before we went on to the "untra all inclusive" hotel in Belek. Our expectations were massively exceeded. This hotel had everything. It was beautiful, clean, spacious, corona friendly, there were bikes to use for free, 2 Infinity pools, gym fit for a holiday king (as far as hotel gyms go- it's amazing) beautiful beautiful view from everywhere, a pillow selection, room service, really good restaurants, breakfast was fresh and also very satisfying. It's not a very kid friendly hotel- there is nothing for them to do there so it's perfect for couples looking to be a little bit extra and enjoy some luxury. We will cut our trip in Belek short and go back for a few more nights. Highly recommended!

Akra V hotel is not a 4 star at all. There are zero facilities on the premises – not even a basic restaurant. As advertised, you can use the facilities at the Akra hotel across the road but you have to walk across a dirty walkway over a busy freeway road. Very unappealing at night or after a relaxing spa treatment or pool session. At Akra hotel itself, the larger pool was closed off the whole week of our holiday and the 2 smaller pools were tiny so we didn’t bother. In addition, the beach area (which is just a tiny paved platform by the sea) was closed as it's only open from April to September – this wasn’t detailed in the hotel ads. There was limited space to sit outside in hotel grounds to enjoy the sun, compared to other beach hotels I’ve experienced. I can imagine during peak tourist season, there’s limited space for Akra V guests competing with Akra hotel residents. The Akra V reception area is small and the reception staff not particularly helpful or friendly, apart from one of the night receptionists. They nickel and dime guests for basics - we had to pay an extra €17 per night because my husband was able to join me last minute in the same (3 person) room, not what I’m used to in other 4 stars I’ve stayed in. If the charge was for the cleaner service, it’s a joke because for 4 of the 5 days we’d get back to our cleaned hotel room to find no towels at all – seemed deliberate as we requested a daily clean - ridiculous and inconvenient having to keep asking for towels. The room itself was basic – wish I hadn’t booked the sea view as it was way too far from the sea front and no balcony (see photo). When I checked out, they tried to charge me for a bottle of water from the minibar which I hadn’t even taken because I’d been buying my own water outside the hotel every day!! When I said I hadn’t, receptionist made me write out a signed statement saying I hadn’t – like a criminal! I’ve never experienced that with minibar errors at other hotels. And be aware if you ask for a late check out time a day or so beforehand and even with the hotel not particularly busy, they want you to pay €20 per hour. I declined and just sat around for some hours before my airport transfer. I was glad to leave and won’t be returning.

Akra V Hotel is a four-star city hotel, and as the concept of our hotel is clearly explained on all web pages and social media platforms, it is both pet-friendly and offers the opportunity to use all the facilities in the main building of the five-star Akra Hotel at more affordable prices. Our Akra V Hotel also has three food & beverage outlets and an entertainment center. Apart from this, naturally, outdoor pools, beach access, spa areas, gym center, and some different concept restaurants are also located in the main building of Akra Hotel. Our hotel's check-in time is 14:00 check-out time is 12:00, and late check-out is subject to a fee. At the same time, the reception team allocates you a room according to the number of people in your reservation. If you want to register a new person in addition to your reservation, it is natural and possible that an additional person fee will be requested. The reception team tries to respond to all guests' reservations as best as possible 24 hours a day. We are sorry to read the negative points in your feedback, we are making a great effort to provide guest satisfaction-oriented efforts and staff service in our hotel. This hotel should be reported to the officials. It is listed as 5 stars resort with many amenities. That is why we were ok to pay $100 for the room with the sea view. Upon checking in we found out that all this information was false and illegal! There no facilities here, exept rooms itself! All the pictures and amenities were from another hotel across the freeway. There was no info about this listed anywhere online! So to access any restaurant, spa or other facilities you need to cross dirty bridge with traffic and smell, and then walk 10 more minutes in the parking area, especially nice if it is very cold outside and you just visited spa! Is this 5 star experience you want to have and pay $100 per night!!!
The sea view was really just facing facing parking, with sea very far away, so you can’t see it! What a joke! Room is small, 3 people barely can fit. $30 aditional charge for a child who should sleep in the uncomfortable folding bed for the price of the adult! No additional towel, sleapers or even bottle of water was provided for this additional pricel!

We made a phone call with you yesterday right after you left a negative notification, we kindly asked you to convey the issues that bother you after the check-in process, so we could directly try to offer you alternative solutions but you told us that you did not have any requests and that you would stay for one night and leave, you preferred not to make any demands. As we conveyed to you on the phone yesterday, your child is within the scope of additional payment based on the age group they belong to, unfortunately, we cannot take an exceptional initiative in this regard. When you make your reservation, you should see a warning that an additional-person fee will be charged if you stay with your child. We assume that you may have had some confusion on this matter. There cannot be any illegal or improper extra charge. Our institution, as an institution that fully respects legal regulations and practices, is one of the leading, respected, and well-established tourism companies in Turkey. The importance and attention we give to these issues are known. Our hotel, Akra V, as the four-star hotel, is located just behind the main building of Akra Hotels and can be reached within a maximum of three minutes by walking, only by a small bridge. All our guests staying in our Akra V hotel can enjoy unlimited use of all the services and hotel facilities in the main building of Akra. Also, since it is not directly on the seafront, the pricing of Akra Hotels is more suitable than the main building. Some of our rooms in Akra V have a sea view, but naturally, as it is not in a seafront location like the main building of Akra. We also have many services in the building of Akra V: a brand new "Pet Friendly" concept for our guests staying with their pets, "Başka Ol", a unique cafe in Antalya, also a big entertainment center "For Fun", and one of the most famous restaurants, bakery, cafes of Antalya are located in our Akra V building. There are different types of rooms in our hotel, the prices are different according to the content and size. We have many alternative solutions to ensure your comfort in the room. All Housekeeping Services such as mattress softening, pillow menu with four alternatives, purchasing extra duvets, detailed cleaning, and completing the deficiencies such as slippers, extra towels, bathrobes, etc. products are free of charge. We also have a complimentary water service on 7/24. When you needed water, you could contact the 8000 - Guest Service Team and get your catering water instantly. ROOM Clean room and good space. Sulpher smell in bathroom I think I get this at most places I travel to. I was a little concerned about hygiene level would be as they allow pets. I love pets and have a cat and dog myself but I don't allow them in my bedroom or on/in my bed just my preference but it was surprisingly clean. Mini bar, kettle tea coffee, iron/board, toothbrush, body wash shampoo, slippers, robe all those handy bits in the room. Great aircon.

Some parts of hotel room a little worn wooden floor quite scuffed white walls but quite a few areas randomly patched up with a grey paint lowers the standard of room a bit bit with a re paint it would be fine. No balcony with my room but some rooms do have. There are no other hotel facilities at Akra V 24 hour reception desk. You can use all facilities at the Akra hotel across the road which are really good if you don't mind crossing the road. I did not mind it. I had room only so not sure what the hotel food is like I ate out. I tried a resturant linked to the hotel pricey but nice.
Staff were friendly. I would stay here again.
AREA Hotel is close to supermarket and there are places to eat close to hotel. Akra has it's own beach area.
There are more tradtional beaches lara beach and konyaalti beach but you would need to get a cab. Same as if you want to see old town a popular area for food and shopping. Cabs are fairly cheap make sure there is a meter running for a fair price.

Staying in Antalya at the Akra V hotel. You get to use the facilities in the Akra Hotel, which offers great views of the sea and mountains. Added to this is a number of different bars and restaurants to chill out in. Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and I would recommend staying here if you are ever in Antalya.

We booked this hotel after looking at the pics. The pics are actually from the Akra which is the hotel over a busy road which is 5 star. The Akra V is basically a stand alone building on a busy road which has a dark and gloomy reception area. We booked 7 nights here, upon arrival we where greeted by a miserable receptionist whom hardly spoke, half the lights where off, it just didn’t feel right. To our surprise the room was very good but the hotel is just rooms only with no facilities at all, certainly not the hotel in the pics. Very misleading. If staying on business or few nights it would be fine but as a holiday hotel no thank you.

Great location in Antalya. Two properties Akra and AkraV. AkraV is in the annex across the road. Akra is the main building and would be our choice next time for convenience.
If we had stayed at Akra (mail building) with an ocean view - it would a 5 star review.
If staying at AnkraV you have to cross a foot bridge to get to breakfast, pools, seaside and restaurants. Staff are relatively friendly and most speak or try to speak English to you.
Breakfast would have to be one of the best when compared to anywhere in the world due to the choices offered for everything.
Amazing views over the ocean (Main Building) Lobby Bar gave us a beautiful sunset (great steak sandwich and selection of wines) and the Breakfast terrace (with great service) offered sensational views over the ocean towards the mountains.
AnkraV limited view. Good room amenities - including slippers it’s clean and they have comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again - but in the main building.

Had a wonderful stay at the Akra V hotel, we had full use of all the pools/facilities across the bridge at the main Akra Hotel which were amazing, the pools especially good. Good choice of restaurants on site and nearby and the service was always great. All COVID procedures were in place and well implemented so always felt safe. Only downside was the distance to the main town but overall a great stay and a beautiful hotel

The main hotel has a lovely buffet. I was honestly impressed. It was 20$ for 2 people roughly. I think the AKra V has room service as well. It’s such a good deal to stay in Akra V half the price and still get all the perks. It’s literally 2 min walk over. They have 3 restaurants and we loved them all. Enjoy!
I too was originally upset about this but once I got there and accessed the room and proximity to the main resort it wasn't as bad as I thought. The Akra V hotel is set back and can easily be missed. The rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful. To access breakfast, it's on the lower level of the main Akra Hotel across the street. It's a short walk. You can take the overpass so you don't need to cross the street however you can only access it fron outside. We just crossed at the light.
