My husband and I went for 8 nights over Christmas time with Jet2Holiday. The weather was early 20s amazingly warm. Hotel location is perfect, on the edge of Antalya city, yet surrounded by all amenities, cafes, restaurants, shops, malls, buses just outside the hotel entrance and you pay as you go with a credit card. The hotel is massive, 10 floors, rooms are either sea view or city view. Ours was city view which was beautiful scenery especially with Christmas decorated streets. Every room had a balcony. Rooms are very spacious and equipped with everything you think of or you don’t. Complimentary water bottles every day. Rainfall shower was amazing with large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Towels changed every day. We chose half board with J2H. Food buffets were out of this world. Breakfast is massive. There’s at least 20 types of cheese, eggs, vegetables, meat, pastries, fruits… you name it. Dinner, where do I start, different menu every single night, starters, more than 30-40 types, all fresh, meat, different dishes, no less than 20 types of dessert. On Christmas Eve, there was special event, with decoration and the menu. Also you get Christmas stocking on your door full of goodies. Massive gym opens 6am to 10pm. 5 outdoor pools. Indoor heated pool that extends out to the garden, fantastic. Staff go above and beyond to help you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and I fully recommend it. Stayed at Akra hotels in Antalya last week. The hotel location is very good as it’s 35 min taxi ride from airport with cost of 80-100TL. There are planets of options for restaurants and shops near by which are open till late. The old town is about 10-15 min taxi ride. The hotel it self has excellent facilities, hairdressers, spa, shops and there 4 good size pools overlooking the mountains and the sea. There are two restaurants and a tea room with live jazz band. The restaurant offer plenty of choice and priced reasonable so you don’t have to go out searching. I was very apprehensive about the stay before arrival due to cv19. However the hotel took meticulous measures to ensure safety. All the staff and guests wear mask in communal areas except when eating and drinking. There are hand sanitizers all over the place and free gloves and mask should u need it. Every time you enter hotel the temperature is checked. There is cash machine at entrance and most stuff you can charge to room or pay by contactless. The room service is excellent, every staff from cleaners to front desk and restaurants are amazing. This was most impressive. The guest manager Sirin was wonderful and supportive. The breakfast is excellent and staff is very attentive and professional. I stayed in room 822 ... although the sea view only partial and would have been nice to have full view but it was busy during my stay. Just want to say big thanks to all the staff and team for making an excellent job. I will be back soon. Oh forgot to mention there is excellent gym too with hamam and spa.

I’m not sure where to start... What a fantastic hotel! Our experience could not have been better!
The Rooms We had 2 deluxe rooms on the 7th floor with excellent views over the Mediterranean. The air conditioned rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We had our wedding anniversary during our stay so, on arrival, the team had made up our room with rose petals, etc., to help us celebrate. Also, as we arrived after 11pm, we were concerned we wouldn’t be able to get anything to eat that late. No worries - room service is available 24 hours a day so all was well.
The Facilities I think we counted 5 or 6 pools including an amazing Infinity Pool overlooking the Mediterranean. A number of excellent bars and restaurants are onsite, including a beach bar, a pool bar, a buffet restaurant, Pablito’s bar and a very cool restaurant on the roof of the hotel. All staffed by helpful and attentive teams. There’s a hairdresser on site also offering manicures and pedicures. They also have a little shop, a health spa offering massage, steam room, sauna and other treatments, a large, well-equipped gym and an indoor pool.
The Staff Regardless of the great facilities, it’s always the staff that can really make or break a hotel experience. I’m delighted to say that, without exception, everyone we dealt with was friendly, kind, and customer focused. This includes the room cleaning team, the excellent reception team, the room service, the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants and by the pools, the health and fitness staff, the concierge, and others. The Akra team clearly put a lot of time and effort into training their staff to properly look after their customers.
All in all, it’s safe to say that we had a fantastic stay at the Akra and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in beautiful Antalya.

Booked a Mediterranean suite with the honeymoon package for my husband and I as we celebrated our 33rd year anniversary. What can I say this was absolutely amazing. To begin with, booking the honeymoon package means you can get a free round trip transfer from the airport to the hotel as well as a lot of other perks. We were picked up by private taxi and at the beautiful hotel within 40 of landing in Antalya. The reception area was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and smelt amazing. We were taken up to room 538 which was large and spacious, decorated with balloons, petals and had complimentary champagne, strawberries and cream (as part of the honeymoon package). We booked full board plus but due to Covid-19 and the strict cleaning regimes we were only able to eat in the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner. This did not take away from the experience but in fact enhanced it, as we were able to go to the Pablito restaurant and order from the menu free of charge and the food was phenomenal. The honeymoon suite package comes with a couple massage for 20 minutes but the spa could not honour this as the government announced that spa treatments has to stop. Because of this we were offered guest of honour dinner in the Asami restaurant which was outstanding. The grounds were beautiful and so clean, we had an amazing stay and can not wait to come back xx

We stayed over the new year period. Temp averaged 15C each day and only rained heavily the one day. Hotel is excellent however we felt as it was the winter period that the hotel staff were beginning refurb for new season as there was scaffolding and carpets looked tired on each floor. We booked the Full Board plus which allows for breakfast, lunch and dinner with 2 local beverages or soft drinks. The jet2 website makes out the bowling is part of hotel; it’s a short walk over footbridge to sister hotel Akra V with each game costing 30tl. Next to bowling are pool tables with a 30 min game costing 10tl. One recommendation is for the dining room to have a vacant card, maybe usage of a card with red colour on one side, Green on other to indicate to people the table is free or not. We had a few occasions where someone would sit at our table or we would even sit at a table occupied so be good to have something clear to indicate availability. Local beverages are cheap but there is a Shakespeare restaurant across the footbridge or many along Lara road which is a short walk. Hotel provided a gala dinner on NYE but we were a couple on our own so opted for the jazz bar within hotel which provided fantastic music and drinks for the countdown. Hotel also has an indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room, and spa facilities and a wide range of gym/fitness classes which are free to use; massages sold separately.

We didn't know how a holiday in the height of a pandemic would work, but the Akra is the cleanest, comfiest and most accommodating hotel I've ever stayed in. You wear masks around the food and in the lift but the rest of the time we switched off and felt like we were on holiday to relax. The hotel staff are so welcoming and can't do enough for you. We ate in the urban restaurant and Asmani on the top floor restaurant which is very scenic and has a good choice of sophisticated food all beautifully presented. The Pablito bar attached to the hotel stays open till the early hours. Taxis are situated in the carpark to drive you to the old town, which is a great place for a night out, for about the equivalent of 2.00 pounds. Everything is much quieter due to the pandemic and I really feel for the Turkish people losing so much tourism, but the Akra has really gone all out to make sure your stay is safe, luxurious and relaxed. We both loved our week here and would definitely choose to come again

We stayed here for a second time when returning to Antalya and weren't disappointed. The people who work in the hotel cannot do enough to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
The hotel is clean and they've taken precautions to help guests feel safe from COVID but without this feeling obtrusive. There are hand sanitising stations throughout the hotel and masks are provided for use when entering restaurants or in the lift.
Clean pools and rooms, amazing air con and views! The only niggle was that service at the pool was a bit hit and miss - I waited 40 minutes after ordering drinks one day. The service was much better at the 'beach'.
I don't think I'd choose another hotel in Antalya!!

After having to cancel 3 flights due to pandemic, decided to go Turkey and stay in two different areas...Akra Hotel was the first!
As you arrive at the hotel you are greeted with a valet service person who gives you a ticket for your car and parks it in a secure car park onsite. On check-in, wasnt too happy at first as there were 3 men on main desk, 1 dealing with a customer and the other 2 were on computers and didnt even look up once, even though myself and my travelling partner were in clear and full view for around 15 minutes after a long flight! There was a staff member who had walked pass us at least 4 times, by this time as I had a foot brace on and had swollen ankles I had to sit down and waited a further 5 minutes, not one of the guys on the desk even asked us, do you need help. The guy that was walking around came pass again, asked if I was ok, I said no, we havent even checked in yet and there was noone in the queue, he went to speak to one of the guys at the desk and all of a sudden the guy then calls us over and says, he thought someone was dealing with us???? I said how? Noone had called us to the front desk. We then checked in. The desk was shielded with temporary hardened plastic to create social distance protection and their were sealed masks and sanitisers available to take. The hotel operates a good regime on wearing masks and encourages social distancing throughout with clear signs and staff to remind you whilst on site, a plus for me as I take safety very seriously. We were given a room on the fourth floor, we chose Deluxe with Sea View but had to move instantly as the room had stains and dust in places and partly damaged floor and furniture, didnt look up to scratch for 5* accomodation. Our new room was on the 5th floor, room was much better, clean, no stains or damaged furniture and had a great view!! The facilities at hotel was great, access to private beach, great spa and self service hammam room, gym and indoor pool which extends in outside garden area. Staff were friendly and efficient especially the dining and bar staff. The grounds are exceptionally clean and well looked after, beautiful gardens, great scenery and value for money. There are lovely outdoor pools which we did not use but had we stayed longer we would have used them for sure!! Food was good although could of had more variety of main meals but maybe they were offering a reduced service due to covid and less travellers, it was still quite busy nontheless. All in all, great stay minus the beginning hiccup. I would definately stay again and would want the view in middle of hotel overlooking the restaurant. Thanks to all staff for a great stay!

Despite being such a big hotel, all the staff interacted with you on a personal level and made you feel important. The location of the hotel is great as there are many nearby restaurants and cafes, and Old Town/other tourist locations are fairly close by drive. The buffet served for breakfast and dinner had countless options! The servers were on their feet, quick to offer you a variety of teas, coffees, and also clean up your table as you're eating so you have a clean space to eat. The view is like a dream, it is absolutely breathtaking! The blue Mediterranean sea and mountains in the distance, we felt like we were in a movie. The hotel has many amenities like a spa, gym, multiple pools, beach, and so much more. The room was spacious. Room service and housekeeping were very polite and quick. Without us even notifying any of the staff, they arranged a birthday surprise with a complimentary cake which we will always remember. Whenever we visit Antayla, we know where to stay. We don't have enough words to express how amazing of a hotel this was. I spoke with Mr. Tolga from guest relations to express how happy we were with our stay. Hotels need to take notes and learn from this Akra to run an amazing hotel!

We stayed at Akra hotel while we were having some dental treatment completed and I must say that the staff are very welcoming and the hotel is spacious with a great health facilities. We are staying in a deluxe double room with sea view and wanted to upgrade to a slightly bigger room so I could film a short birthday vlog about our hotel stay as it is my birthday today but the hotel are not very accommodating unless you pay the normal rate. This is the only thing that didn't impress me about the staff here but i understand that they must make a profit too. So we are stuck in the same room despite there being plenty of availability online and when I asked again on my birthday I was told that all suites are fully booked even though they are shown as available online on many other websites. This did upset me as I would prefer the hotel management to be honest with us and just say they could not offer ant complimentary or free upgrades even during off peak season. We could pay full price for the upgrade but I told my husband not to because of their dishonesty which has more or less ruined my birthday for me :(
I don't think I will stay here again because of this but I am just going off what other hotels have offered me on my birthday as I travel every year.
