Unfortunately due to COVID only the buffet restaurant was open however the food was fantastic. Very tasty and a good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff served you the food at the buffet to abide by social distancing rules. There didn’t seem to be any social distancing from the guests at the buffet and it got a bit crowded however I don’t believe that is any reflection on the staff or the hotel.
The pool area is nice and relaxing. You had the option of going down to the beachy area where you could swim in the sea, and have a sun lounger on the decking next to the beach bar. The sea water was so warm by October it was lovely to swim in. Further up from the beach area was the poolside which offered stunning views from your lounger and an infinity pool. The only “tip” I would give to the hotel here is that it would be good to have a radio station on, or some kind of playlist as there are only about 10 songs that are played on loop all day and it gets a bit samey. The food at the beach bar was very tasty too. The portions are just right.
We upgraded our room to the suite sea view room on floor 5 and it was definitely worth it. The view out of the room from lying in your bed was beautiful. The room could benefit from a bit TLC, slightly dated and a few bashed bits of furniture but nothing major. The bed is so big and comfy.
The room cleaners were disappointing. We never had any hand soap or body wash in the dispensers and given the current pandemic I think the cleaners should be making sure that the guests have all the hygiene products they need every day. Luckily we had our own soap/wash with us but I we eventually had to ask for more and when asked I was given a tiny hand soap. The body wash still wasn’t filled up by the end of our stay. The glass wall on the balcony and also the windows were very dirty and I don’t suspect they had been cleaned for a while. The floors and walls were not cleaned within the week we stayed also, I could see the same handprint on the bathroom wall the whole time we stayed there. It seemed as all they did was make your bed and replace the water. Again, quite disappointing for a 5 star hotel.
The public toilets in the main building and lifts were sanitized regularly and the hotel in general felt very clean and safe.
Overall I think the Ramada may be considered 5 star in its location as there are a lot of run down hotels/buildings in close proximity. There are parts of the hotel that I would rate 5 star but mostly it would be 4.
I would stay here again. I’d like to see the hotel at its full capacity out with a pandemic, with use of all the restaurants and hopefully more staff able to clean rooms properly.
It has a large indoor and outdoor pool & gym. Breakfast and dinner had huge variety in a dining room with great views of the sea and mountains.
We had excellent customer service from the word go. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the hotel concierge services was excellent
We have always stayed at the Ramada every time we came to Antalya town and we plan to come back next year
When we arrived the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing that happened was I booked through a third party and somehow only booked for one person for all the all-exclusive....??!! That was quite annoying and upsetting since we were very tired and on a budget. Other than that they were nice enough to offer an upgrade at a discounted rate. We weren't really sure about it, and the bellman was nice enough to take us to different rooms to help us choose. Tarik The bellman was so nice and so helpful. Great customer service.
We choose to pay the extra $10 for the upgraded room with the view and balcony.
The room is small but the balcony makes up for it. The balcony is basically the small size of the room! The other room was huge but had a tiny balcony with no sea view.
Other than that the room was a little dated with some wear and tear but it was clean and the bed was super comfy. Honestly, we were very happy with our choice.
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner is all held in the same area. The choices for all meals are enough for a diverse plate. Offers a great view from the balcony over the pool looking across the water. Was very happy with all our meals and the staff were very friendly. No complaints at all, we really enjoyed our meals.
The pool area is really nice, just off the game room area and also where they have an ice cream bar!
The sun decks are what you come for!! It was absolutely stunning. The walk down the tunnel to the water never gets old and adds that extra touch. The sun desks offered enough space for a lot of people to come to enjoy and then have to access to the water. Also, they have a bar and mini restaurant where you can order food.
The location of the hotel is very close to the park where you can walk along the seawall area and also like 10-15 walk to lots of restaurants and bars. Great location to explore.
Honestly, I am very happy with our stay. I loved our time in Antalya.
Rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds, decent sized safe and amazing shower.
Food and drink provisions were brilliant. With very little queuing and a constantly changing buffet. Of course Covid has had an impact but they have done everything possible to limit the impact to guests. The snack bar on the sea deck was great too. Hadar on the bar was great and so funny. In the buffet restaurant you want to be in Saban's section, all staff were great but he went well over and above in getting tables ready each night and providing a personalised touch.
Spa - GO honest it's the best investment in yourself you will ever have. These ladies have identified and solved a problem I have had for years.
If you like some extra space then you can book the pavilion for $50 a day and you do so in the main restaurant.
I was silly enough to have left some property behind but a quick call to them and they found it, were honest about everything and are kindly holding it for me.
Reception were incredibly helpful both on checking in and finding my friend's loyalty card details but also with a pushy rep that was assigned by the hotel booking company.
Concierge may appear a little grumpy but he sorted an incredible trip with a fun driver who looked after us well too.
I simply didn't want to leave and felt so safe throughout with their covid measures, more so than in the UK
Overall amazing experience.
The hotel looks amazing, the foyer is spacious and clean, and most of the staff are extremely polite and make you feel welcome. The facilities are superb, from the breakfast which was out of this world (you really won't go hungry), to the pools which were clean and easy to access. If you're not fussed with having a beach at your hotel, but you want access to the sea, then this is perfect as the steps at the bottom deck lead straight out to the ocean.
My wife wanted a massage before we ended our vacation and decided to book with the hotel. She came back and said its the best massage she's had. For location, this hotel is around 30 mins from the airport, so if you book an airport transfer, it'll be cheap. You can also walk to the main boulevard towards the old town in around 10 mins. Walking around this area at 11pm was not at issue, we felt completely safe and loved every minute.
Here is the reason why I knocked off 1 star. My only issue was that I booked a family room and after reviewing both the websites for this hotel (yep for some reason, there are 2 websites for this hotel), I then contacted customer service via their whatsapp and confirmed with them that the room I was booking would have a living room and two separate bedrooms (each with a bathroom). Sadly, the room we were allocated was only 2 bedrooms joining, each with a bathroom. We only have 1 cupboard to share between 4 people for 10 days and despite my request to get this sorted, I found some of the hotel staff rude and uncooperative. We didn't have an option but to accept this room and I didn't want to spoil our holiday any further.
Other staff in this hotel are exceptional and it makes up for the way I was treated by the hotel management. Would I stay here again? Yes!, but they need to be clear on what exactly is a family room and why it will differ from the pictures on their website.
