Breathless Cabo San Lucas is a beautiful resort. We have traveled many years within the Breathless/Secrets brand and each location has its own unique qualities. If you are looking for the Breathless “party” experience this location is a little less of that vibe but still fun. The team at the pool did a great job every day with fun activities and you can do as little or as much as you are comfortable with. We did a Paint and Sip along with a cocktail making class which were both a lot of fun. There is entertainment in the evenings - again, maybe not as lively as some of the other resorts in the Breathless brand but it’s what fun you choose to make of it. There was karaoke, a live band, a fire and a “sexy” show on two different nights. There were themed buffets with music and pretty decorations. This location is also very walkable to the City along the Boardwalk. It is clean and safe and we went to multiple bars and restaurants off property that were well run. The food at the resort is great! We never had to wait for a table longer than 10 minutes (we typically ate at 7). There are multiple items to choose from at every restaurant to suit a variety of tastes. The staff are all very warm, welcoming, attentive, and hard working. We chatted with Ysmay every morning at Spoon and she was always sweet and accommodating. Love all of the bartenders, especially Ervey! He knew our drinks by the second day, always had a smile on his face, and was super attentive. There were/are many additional staff at the pools, coffee shop, restaurants, and bars that I did not catch their names but every single one was very kind and always with a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable. The beds have a view of the marina and nice balconies. The shower was large with rainfall shower head, double sinks, and private commode. We had ample linens and supplies and our fridge was always stocked to our request. I highly recommend this resort! As mentioned we have been traveling with this brand for many years now and each location has its own unique qualities. In reading other reviews I have seen some negative comments but we enjoyed our time immensely. It’s paradise! What is there to be crabby about :)

Breathless Los Cabos is all about the location! It’s absolutely fantastic, and the proximity to everything was the highlight of our stay. I chose this hotel primarily for its location, so I wasn’t expecting culinary excellence. The location of the resort was fantastic as it is right on the beach with two pools (party pool, and chill pool). If you are at any of the pools you can get drink and food service from any of the nearby bars/restaurants. In general, my overall experience with the food was very hit or miss. Anything involving tortilla chips felt like a 50/50 if it was fresh or stale. Buffet foods were mediocre at best. I would recommend going to any of the restaurants that make your food when it's ordered. Bites was always decent (except sometimes rice was dried out) and Spoons was good for lunch (breakfast buffet was not great). The specialty restaurants for dinner seemed to be great. Every restaurant has things that they do extremely well and other things were okay. The overall theme felt that seafood was on point and everything else you just have to try and figure out what the food is done well.
My experience at the spa was great as everything was very clean.
The room is very nice though I did have a couple issues. Switch covers falling off and the ceiling of my room randomly leaking. I came back from an excursion to find that room the floor of the entrance into my room was soaked with water. I cleaned up the water, put the ice bucket to catch the water where it was leaking. I reported the issue and they fixed it very quickly. I had asked to see if there is anyway they could make my experience better or comp me a night for this bad experience but they did not. The best I was offered was a bottle of sparkling water.
If you are coming as a solo traveler I would not recommend it. I came as a solo traveler with a group of my friends who brought their partners. It's kind of annoying that almost every place you stop at to eat they ask where your partner is. I would also note that the price for a room is a two person minimum. So if you come by yourself you are paying the price for two people in the AI.
In general, I'm not sure if I would visit again. The area is beautiful, but the food is very hit or miss in the resort and often times leaning on the mediocre side. The food is very much adjusted to the western palate which is annoying as you go to Mexico to enjoy the local cuisine. Service was great for the most part as it was quick and to the point. Just disappointed with how they handled the leaking ceiling situation as it was my last night and was not staying long enough to care to switch rooms. Rather than offering anything of actual value I was offered sparkling water.

I attended a family wedding in March at Breathless Cabo San Lucas. This is in the Hyatt Inclusive Collection. My expectations were high based on what I read about this collection. Sadly, I was very disappointed by my experience and stay. The first morning I discovered the coffee maker was broken. It was replaced for the 2nd day. I requested more coffee and restocking the mini fridge. Neither of which happened. I discovered every day the room was cleaned and resupplied on a random basis with no consistency on what was restocked or how the room was prepared. The resort is spread out over multiple buildings, elevators and access. Numerous people in the wedding party were confused and uncertain how to navigate through the property. Lack of signage or assistance made finding your way around frustrating. The three restaurants at the Beach Club were closed (which was supposed to be an inclusive benefit). Instead they offered a buffet on the beach with no handicap access, which for several people in the wedding party had extreme difficulty getting there. The buffet featured a salad bar that was not restocked or replenished. The last ones through the line were picking at morsels to make a salad. They had a grill with fresh steak. However, it was so tough and full of gristle that most of us could not eat it. The other buffet items reminded of typical warmed over buffet restaurant lines with limited freshness or appeal. The best feature of this resort is its central location, but I think you could find much better choices and amenities nearby.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas is an incredibly resort, perfect for those seeking a luxurious experience From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with amazing service as well as stunning ocean views. The rooms are very nice and well-equipped, offering all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay (razor, qtips, nail file, toothbrush and toothpaste). The service is exceptional; the staff is friendly and always ready to assist. The dining options are varied and delicious, with several restaurants offering everything from international cuisine to local dishes. Additionally, the nighttime entertainment is top-notch, with themed parties and live shows that keep the everyone entertained. My favorite part of the trip was the Entertainment Team!! Stephani, Edri, JC, Mica, Jessi, Chris, and Nelly know how to make everyone feel included as well as entertain EVERYONE. Pool volleyball was so fun as well as the everyday pool shows. Overall, I would say the resort's location is ideal, right on the Cabo San Lucas marina, making it easy to explore the town. Just keep in mind the seals are loud and so are the boats, but I genuinely didn’t mind it!! My family and I already booked next Christmas :)

Pedro and Abraham did a great job it felt like the staff genuinely enjoying interacting with us. The food was pretty good, portions are small with most meals so be prepared with that. I would definitely order an appetizer and entree for every person you are dining with. Other than that the resort feels very safe, the rooms are nice. You are constantly being served, you could sit by the pool all day and someone will constantly be there to refresh your drinks. They also upgraded my buddy and I to the vip service (exhale) for free because they didn’t have a room with two queen beds prepared for us so we stayed in a room with a single king but they immediately brought in another bed for one of us to bunk on. That didn’t ruin the trip at all, it honestly made is so much better, having access to the top shelf liquor that the exhale lounge has to offer really enhanced the stay. It is a no smoking resort so be prepared for that, but that made it feel much cleaner. Don’t even get me started about the view on the balcony in your room. It Truly is humbling being able to see the whole marina full of million dollar yachts/fishing boats. The cherry on top is the fact that this resort is the only resort with a view of the marina. It Does make you feel like royalty. Tips aren’t necessarily expected but are appreciated. My buddy and I were definitely the youngest people here at 19 years old. It was mostly couples staying here but, we enjoyed our stay a lot made of a lot of friends and a great time every night. We came in early November which if the “off season” for Cabo so the party scene wasn’t anything crazy, the best night was karaoke night at the wink bar, it was popping. But when you come here in the off season you can expect the bar to be pretty empty past 11:00 o clock. One thing that was always a decent party was the pool, so busy it was hard to find to a chair to lay down in, which was an enjoyable experience for us.

Great Location but Be Warned About Noise and Food! Breathless Cabo San Lucas has a fantastic location and beautiful views, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is close to town and the beach, which is a definite plus. However, there are some significant drawbacks to consider before booking. One major issue was the noise level, especially at the main pool. The music was excessively loud, often a 11 out of 10, which drove many guests away to seek a quieter environment. Also, our room did not have a bathtub. The breakfast buffet was disappointing due to its limited selection; they didn’t even have hot sauce available. We had dinner at one of the hotel restaurants one night, and it was so bad that we ended up eating out in town every other night. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we discovered some fantastic restaurants in Cabo San Lucas! In summary, if you prioritize location above all else and don’t mind excessive noise, Breathless might be a good choice. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with good food and quiet surroundings, I’d suggest considering other options

Having personal interactions with every manager in various departments with the exception of Mauricio in sales and Karina in HR, they treat me like a family member which I am honored and look forward to continued personal connections. Each manager is integral in the resort operation and has amazing staff in all departments throughout the resort. Upon arrival, Rueben and several other security personnel greet one to a home away from home. Bellmen chief, Daniel and his crew take pride in guests arrival with greetings and luggage details. Gabriel, Marciel, Eduardo,King and others I may have had limited contact with. Upon entry to the lower lobby, UVC representatives Oscar and Michelle and Eduardo greet and take guests to front desk run by Angel and his crew if checking in or to Exhale lounge for checking in by Paulina, Jorge, Armando, Juan or Justin, very efficient process with offer for drink from several bartenders, Vianey, Erby, Luis, Abrahams or Macbeth. Other concierge team members who deserve recognition include Michelle Valenzuela as chief with Ilse, Eliz and Oscar. All very professional as well as personable. Pool environment is wonderful run by Pool manager Lucia with all the waiters Williams, Hector, Fernando, Diana, Mariano, Daniel and Raul. Miquel and his staff for activities provide many different options for guest enjoyment including Glass Factory Tour. His staff includes Alonso,DJ as well as Stefani, Nely, Jessi, Brenda, Manuel Juan Carlos and Lenardo,all interact with many guests for amazing experiences. Restaurants offer various food choices run by supervisors Moe, Julio and Felipe with attentive waiters Ceasar, Alejandra, Romy, Flavio, Alejandro, Miseal and Neftali as well as many others. Spa manager Marina has wonderful staff including Ana, Alma and Gaby as well as the rest of the crew. Little interaction with housekeepers Rosita and Dalith, I let them accomplish their work with time and space needed as well as any other housekeeping staff assisting in room cleaning, always personalized conversations when in contact. Jesus, Gilberto, Juan, Julio, Miquel and Cristian all have wonderful staff to make any guests stay amazing and every single employee deserves recognition for team effort in such a well operating resort. I can't forget to mention Rodrigo in social media or Carla Mandujano in Distribution. probably some staff I have missed listing and not my intentions. Looking forward to upcoming future reservations at Breathless with all the wonderful people I have known over the years as well as new connections.

The location of this hotel is the only thing going for it. Check-in process was horrible. Food options were very limited. In fact, dining out on marina boardwalk was exceptional and the way to go. Pool entertainment was pretty boring at one pool and over the top at the other. Staff could not be bothered to refill refrigerator daily with just basic water, let alone beer. The housekeeping staff was very persistent in getting into our room to clean every day regardless of the privacy posted on the door. Our room keys kept getting canceled so it became a daily gamble on whether we could get back in later in the day. Check out process was not great either. I would recommend an Airbnb in this area instead of this hotel.
