Came to celebrate a milestone birthday and greeted with ballons and a slice of cake on arrival. Gorgeous pool area and great service from Eduardo! Same for Elizabeth in the morning at breakfast. It was our first time to Cabo and wanted to explore the area and restaurants so didn't do all inclusive, especially since our room contained a full kitchen and we had a rental car. As everyone says, I'd recommend AI if you are a big drinker/eater--$140 USD pp per day and a single tail lobster dinner is $70. Our rate (rise and shine) did include breakfast, but this was eggs only every day (plus hashbrowns and fruit.) A few days we chose to pay a very reasonable $10 for the buffet. Service at the 3 restaurants we tried was friendly but slow.
Rooms are very spacious and clean but daily room service only changes out towels and makes the bed--no replenishment of soap or other items. Our 1 bdrm ocean view looked straight out on the ocean and part of the pool--beautiful!
There's a shuttle running every 10 mins to Viila Palamar where there's a market, deli and where most entertainment takes place. There are activities at the del Arco pool thruout the day with different styles of music changing every few hours. Note: they are dead serious about removing your items if you walk away from your pool chairs--we had just gone to breakfast for 10 mins when our pool neighbor came to tell us staff had taken our backpack, phones and towels even tho' he had explained we just left a few minutes prior to eat.
Overall, we had a good time.

My sister and I went for our first visit to this resort, as members of its associated vacation club. The location is excellent and beach is swimmable, although the water and air temps were chillier than average for the time of year we stayed.
We've visited other Villa Group properties, and by far, the del Arco restaurants' food is far superior to that offered by the restaurants on the other properties at which we've stayed. In particular, we enjoyed the Neptune seafood restaurant, and Jimmy's attentive service, the South American Grill with Nayeli's sunny demeanor making that meal one we will remember, and Diego at El Patron also making sure we were well taken care of.
I had the privilege of meeting the property's general manager as well as Efrain Romero, who is the guest services manager and who replies to many of the reviews here. General Manager Señor Perez embodies the very definition of hospitality, and it's clear the rest of the staff are doing a wonderful job of benefiting from both his and Efrain's examples. Both men gave us confidence that as guests, our feedback was heard and that our particular needs on site would be seen to. Indeed, my interaction with the two of them became a surprising highlight of this trip.
We are booked for a return stay, and look forward to it very much.

What an awesome week! Check in and check out were easy. Poolside service and restaurants were great, but would like to mention that Manuel in the Neptune Seafood restaurant was exceptional. Also, the host in the Argentinian poolside restaurant is great! We've been owners for 20 years and wow, Villa del Arco has done a fabulous job of keeping up the property! Our room was beautiful and the common areas were well kept. A storm blew through while we were there and we watched the entire hotel staff work as a team to clear the pool area in about 45 minutes. Prices in the marketplace are expensive, so if you need a lot of groceries, I'd suggest taking a cab to the Walmart, which is close by. Other than that, the stay was fantastic. A bad customer experience negates all the good experience you had. That’s what my family’s stay at this resort boiled down to. We booked 3 all inclusive room paying $7K+. We wanted to enjoy a good drink so we went to their El Patron restaurant bar and ordered 3 margaritas with a premium tequila. They offered us one with selección suprema de herradura tequila and showed $50 on screen, we thought that was reasonable for 3 drinks. But turns out it was $53 per drink, I have never paid this much for a margarita served on a plastic glass poolside even at 7 star hotels. This was completely scam/ripoff, but front desk said they can help because it was restaurant transaction, restaurant just blamed it on us even though they did not explain and confirm the charge until they delivered the drinks poolside. I would suggest just look elsewhere for a hassle free, secure vacation. If you have already booked here be careful on what you order and check charges carefully.

Been loving Villa del Arco since 2008! We are happy to be coming 2 weeks every year now. We actually survived hurricane Norma last week and we're impressed by the staff's preparation and hard work in getting things back to normal afterward. Communication from management was very clear and appreciated.
At the pool during the day, the staff works hard to be sure we are well taken care of. While food and drink prices have gone up significantly since last year they are still pleasant and understanding if you avoid drinking at the pool!
I am collecting can tabs from beer and soda cans and Emmanuel at the pool has been particularly helpful in dropping off handfuls to me whenever he sees me. Of course he is in a position to collect a lot more than I ever could!
Overall, a very pleasant two-week stay. Already booked for next year, same time. October is a beautiful month at Arco!

Grateful for everything about this resort, but especially appreciative of housekeeping and poolside service teams. Knowing they're probably considered lower on the totem pole of pay rates and internal promotions, we are always appreciative of their 5-star service and gracious hospitality. This year, Juana Magdalena gave our large suite the best housekeeping we've ever seen, consistently, professionally, and graciously. Poolside and at the Bucanero, every server worked together to give us a fantastic experience every day.

Our experience at Villa Del Archo in Cabo was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The entire trip was filled with amazing food, top-notch service, breathtaking views, and excellent rooms. We were a large group of 24 and between us had a total of 8 rooms (two presidential suites) , with children ranging from 5 to 13 years old, and every single one of us had an unforgettable time. The hotel was very accommodating for all of us and our needs.
Let's start with the food. The dining experience at Villa Del Archo was exceptional. There was a wide variety of delicious dishes available, catering to all tastes and preferences. Whether it was local cuisine or international favorites, every meal was a culinary delight. The chefs and kitchen staff deserve high praise for consistently delivering such high-quality food.
The service was another highlight of our stay. The staff at Villa Del Archo went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were always patient and friendly, catering to our every need. Special mention goes to Luis, who made our days even more enjoyable with his stretching classes and water aerobics. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he made us feel like a part of the family. We highly recommend taking all of his classes and watching his nightly shows next store at Villa Del Palmer! Thank you Luis and we missed starting the day with you!

Everything about this place is close to perfect. Definitely go with the all inclusive package. I’m guessing it is a loss leader, to try to get you in the door and sell you membership to the resort and so on. But if you ignore that marketing stuff, you will have an incredible time. It’s an amazing value for what you spend. Everything, and I mean everything, is included. Room service, poolside service, all meals, snacks, even tips, Though we always added A 10% tip to our checks for the staff. They itemize a check for everything you get, but you only pay for the extra tip or a premium drink or premium meal here and there, which we didn’t even need to bother with. Our favorite service person, among many of the kind staff, was Elizabeth, in the El patron breakfast area. There are too many thoughtful details about this place to last year. But definitely take advantage of the locally run boat tours that leave from the beach in front of the resort. We took a combo tour that included snorkeling at pelican Beach, which was like being in an aquarium, except in the wild, and also the beautiful rock formations where the sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. If you are a big partier, which we are not, you might want to check out the downtown, which is really a big tourist trap. But the resort is a lovely oasis, and when we come back, we will only leave for the boat trips, most likely. The gym is amazing, the pools are amazing, there are free kayak and paddleboard tours in the ocean, you have six or seven restaurants to choose from, and the beach is totally safe and swimmable, which isn’t always possible down here, with the heavy surf and riptide in some areas.

We have been members for 15 years and have always enjoyed our time, this time was the worst experience we have had. We booked 9 months out because there wasn't rooms available for members (what we were told) when we arrived we were given a room with a horrible view, we were told that we couldn't be moved because there weren't any other rooms for members, only those who aren't members. It's as if non-members get priority over members. If you aren't a member it's a great resort to stay at, but bring your wallet, everything in the food and beverage department is super expensive. ($13 for a vodka oj In Mexico?)

The resort is clean and well maintained. The staff was very responsive to our requests. Let the pool manager was very attentive and went above to make sure all had an equal opportunity to sit pool side. Unattended towels were removed after an hour and other guests allowed to use the chairs. Traveling with a wheelchair is always challenging but the staff made sure all were accomodated.
