The good. The resort itself is stunningly beautiful and the views from the rooms on the tops floors are incomparable ocean panoramas. The waves at night (Minus the drunk kids) was simply awesome. We ere able to watch the whales from our deck. The food was some of the best I had for an all inclusive. There was a food court, a taco truck, buffets and specialty restaurants. The pies, cakes and ice cream at the food court (market) are some of the best I've had even from Chicago restaurant standards much less an all inclusive in Mexico. Wine was also superb. The staff was attentive (Canuto the food truck worker) really stood out as did our room cleaner. The golf course Quivira is simply amazing and had some of the best vistas Ive seen on any course I've played including Pebble. The rersort is huge but its pretty easy to get a golf cart there are several pick up and drop off options and they do a good job of getting you around.
Now the caution. This resort has been discovered by spring breakers, so if you are going in spring (at least first two weeks of March) be careful if you are looking for quiet romance. We were here the first week of March and there were ALOT of college students. Estimated as maybe 30 percent of the guests. Trying to sleep with our slider open and listen to the ocean was difficult on most nights as the kids would get home from the club at around 2am and shout. Having early morning dives in the Marina it was difficult to stay asleep all night. I did call twice and security did a great job at clearing the rooms but it did put a damper on what I thought would be a romantic trip. The main pool was a no go as it was lots of drinking and partying. Even A la Carte breakfast was cancelled on our second day here because the kids were apparently ordering everything on the menu. I guess there's not much the resort could have done but I asked a few times about booking another trip the following year outside of spring break and nobody seemed to want to help. Maybe they could have offered a similar room at a discounted price so we could give the resort a second chance but we got nothing of the sort.
So one of the best all inclusive I've been to and one of the better views I'd ever had from a room but I'd like to give it another shot without all the drinking and partying.

From the start to the finish this a Fantastic resort get away! The facilities are well maintained and clean! Housekeeping does a Great job on the rooms daily ( many hotels have not returned to daily cleaning). The food at the numerous restaurants we tried were Fantastic! I highly recommend the all inclusive price.... The restaurants are a bit pricey if you're paying each time and they put a 20% gratuity on top of the prices. All inclusive includes most coffees, most smoothies and alcoholic beverages. It pays for itself with dinner and a few drinks and waters. The staff at any of the 7 pools are Fantastic too! They have a push button service which is nice. While staying here you can reserve a bus ride back in to town to visit the sister resorts and use their restaurants and pool service also! Cilantros on the beach was our favorite! Overlooking the ocean. Although, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is not a swimming ocean and you sign a agreement upon check in it is just lovely to hear the big waves from your room. The view and the landscape are so beautiful! I enjoyed riding the golf carts as much as walking to get exercise! I'll be back!!! Fantastic! Kudos to all staff and the management team😀

We stay once per year at Sunset. The views are spectacular and in February there were whales everywhere I looked. We always get all inclusive because it is easier and there are more restaurants than we can visit in a week. Don’t expect fast service at the restaurants. We were fine with it. We notice service at the Sports Bar is pretty fast and the place is nice sitting outside - the music inside is loud. La Nao Buffet is super nice with nice table settings unlike most buffets. We didn’t go to Tazuna because in years past the portions are too small and you for example you would have to order 3 orders of potstickers to have a normal serving. The shuttles around the resort work super good and the drivers are always there and ready to go within a couple of minutes or they are already waiting outside of restaurants. The rooms are a bit dated but nice Mexican style. The one bedroom we get has 2 bathrooms but you have to ask for a KIng and hope you get it. I would suggest they mark lines on the pavement where we should walk. We don’t know which side of the narrow pathways where the carts drive to walk on. Sometimes people are on both sides of the road and there is barely enough room for the carts. The pools are closed quite often for weddings and you have to leave sometimes at 2 p.m. or 4 p.m.

I traveled to Cabo for the first time to celebrate my 50th birthday with 12 of my closest friends. We rented 2 Presidential Suites in Building 19 & 20. From the moment I booked until the day I left the trip overall was perfect! I was able to pay and schedule my all inclusive packages and massages ahead of time and everything went as planned. I have 13 women’s opinions to share!! Overall the consensus was the resort is beautiful, all the views are spectacular, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was by far the friendliest hard working individuals I have ever experienced. The restaurants were friendly and all of our food was exceptional. We did explore the other resorts and had similar experiences. It was easy to get around via the golf carts, the pools were perfect and we always had service. We were on vacation so having food show up poolside a few times later than we liked wasn’t really a big deal, we were enjoying the beautiful scenery. Most people were satisfied with their drinks, I had no complaints, they were delicious and always promptly refilled. Our butler was Delfino and let me tell you, this guy really goes above and beyond! My friends went to decorate my room and he was already there setting up a sign and placing balloons in the room to surprise me! He made sure we checked in and out efficiently, scheduled our dinner reservations and always made sure we had pool chairs for all of us. It was beyond a perfect and accommodating vacation. I loved it so much, I’m returning in MAY!! If you are looking to relax, want exceptional views and service, great food, and want to be treated the very best than this place is for you!!!
A few recommendations I have - always ask for water ahead of time when going to your room, there is a charge for room service so only use sparingly or to ensure you have coffee and pastries or fruit in the morning while enjoying the view. The sky pool and pool at La Nau were our favorites for music and fun. Bring some floaties for the pool. Try all the restaurants. The Quivera Steakhouse and other up charge restaurant's are worth it!!! I would recommend asking for more pillows to choose the best. We all had horrible pillows, not very comfortable. Many always ask about tipping, we tipped the golf cart guys $1-2, we tipped all our servers, and left money for our room cleaners - who were amazing!!!
Overall, it was very impressive that all 13 of us had the best time ever!! Thank you to all the staff who made my birthday and trip the best ever!!

Went for my friends 30th birthday. We did not pick this resort they did. While this location is priced correctly for what it is i feel the resort could use a refurbishment in some areas, its showing its age. Overall the resort is nice. We arrived to the resort after about an hr ride from the airport at 4pm which is check in time so there was a long line, stood there for about 30 mins. When we got to check in the guy sped through everything and every time i asked a question he just said go ask the concierge. Then, once you get your wristbands they take your luggage and make you wait another 20 or so mins for a golf cart to take you to your room. This area could use a little smoothing out, its a bit chaotic as its the same area you pick up taxis. The room itself is ok. Door on tv broken, fan wouldnt go any faster than slow speed, drain on shower backed up to where you were standing in a few inches of water, lock on back door was broken, chunk of concrete floor missing by kitchen, bed wasnt great and neither were the 2 flimsy pillows they give you. Golf carts will take you around the property but be prepared to wait for them and the pool bars shut down at like 6 or 7. No music, no drinks.
Positives: resort is in a beautiful location and the landscaping is nice. Most rooms have a great view. When you can get a golf cart the drivers are usually fun and have you laughing. Night club and karaoke is fun aside from all the 18 yr olds. Food options are plentiful. Gym is small but nice. You can go to Rose/Rosa and Blanco locations via shuttle that you have to sign up for ahead of time.
Negatives: check in slow, resort rooms & pools showing their age, restaurants have weird hours especially around breakfast. If you're in line and their cut off time comes around they will not serve you. Learned my lesson from the crepes that always have a long line. Security doesn't watch guests, a lady passed out and threw up in the pool and my group had to alert the bartenders who then got security who was standing on the side talking to someone. The bartenders at the main pool by the beach are cocky and have an additude, that would have been my fav pool if it werent for them. Ended up at the Sky pool most of the time.

We have been to Cabo numerous times and this by far was our worst experience. We booked 2 rooms and upon arrival the hotel lobby was a nightmare - waited in line for 30 minutes only for them to say room was not ready. Once we did get to the room there were no towels, toilet paper and the rooms were dirty with mold in the bathroom. When I called about getting my rooms cleaned I was told I did not sign up for room service upon registration 😡. They finally brought things to us about 45 minutes later.
Service overall was pretty terrible. Waiting for food at the Bistro took about an hour and we had to flag down servers multiple times to get help. Due to the hotel also having an ala carte option the rooms were not stocked with any water or drinks and if you wanted any you had to order from room service (another hour wait) or try your luck at one of the pool bars.
Overall I would not recommend this hotel.

Honestly I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Our room had mold, a filthy couch that we couldn’t even sit on. The upcharge restaurant Frida was mediocre at best, my steak was inedible and despite leaving it almost untouched on my plate our server never bothered to ask if it was to my liking. Old outdated rooms, no water, coffee or sodas replenished daily. Room service charges an upcharge even for water. Our room didn’t have a washer or dryer despite booking a room that was supposed to have it. It was my 40th Birthday while I was there and the hotel made no mention of it. Pools are cold and pool service takes at least an hour! Our key bracelets for deactivated one day for some reason and we were locked out of rooms so I called concierge from the hallway phone asking if the cleaning lady could open up for us as we were running late to dinner. The person on the phone said no, and when I asked how long it would take to have someone open the door they said they didn’t know, I asked for a timeframe and he said he had no idea. Poor customer service! My son and I were soaked from the pool and had to wait despite the cleaning lady being right next door. Very disappointing trip, Sunday brunch was the highlight of our stay but you can definitely find nicer resorts for the same price! Never again!

Beware of this place… we stayed here as part of a family wedding that was booked. It was my wife and two children (2 & 5 yrs) that came along since we wanted to make a vacation out of this trip. I have to say it is by far the WORST all inclusive hotels we have ever stayed at. To start it off, the hotel really shows its age by how run down the rooms and other areas look. We were provided a room as you will see in the photos with missing smoke detector, stains on the sheets, and top it off there was no hot water. We were fine staying in the room as long as they got the hot water fixed. After asking numerous times (took 2 1/2 days) they finally agreed to change our room because they stated they didn’t know when they could have the hot water fixed. Then they finally transferred us to another room, even though we paid for an upgraded ocean view room, they only had a room available that faced directly onto a restaurant (The Market). To top it off the refused to refund us the difference we paid for the upgraded ocean view room. The new room had hot running water which allowed for us to finally give our kids a shower. The room they provided us was not kid friendly at all, you find from the pictures are suite was the only one without metal railings so we couldn’t keep the doors open to enjoy the fresh breeze without fear of our children going to the grass and falling down the steep hill. Further to make things more uncomfortable for us, they’re doing active renovations as seen in the pictures without our knowledge. When we got back to our suite, are clothes that where drying outside got covered from the dust from the sanding along with paint droplets from them painting. When I went to the front desk, not a single person was willing to help nor direct us to management so we can speak to them about this situation. Last thing that put me over the edge, was the ceramic countertop is broken on the edge and was super sharp which I have. I idea why someone in there right mind wouldn’t have this replaced or removed from the room. Both my daughters scrapped there arms on it as seen in the pictures as it’s right next to the bedroom door when you walk out.
Either way, I felt the need to share my story to save other people looking to book there vacation here so they can look to book somewhere else since there is many other hotels around here that are much nicer and will provide a way better experience.

The grounds are beautiful. Many options for food and would rate them all excellent as well. Many pools located around the property but they fill up early but don’t expect you can save a chair by putting something on it. If empty for 30 min or more they remove your belongings and it’s open. I thought this was fair. Don’t expect much out of your room. Ours was outdated and in need of a painting etc. Beds/pillows were not comfy at all. We only stayed there to play the infamous Quivara golf course but it is booked months in advance and were unable to play. If beach is your thing, forget it. It’s unswimmable and there are no chairs to lounge on. Would rate walking the grounds as hard as it’s built on a hill so steep grades to go anywhere within property. They do offer rides (golf carts) throughout property though and when you need a ride they are everywhere. Hang on though! They offer shuttle service hourly to other 4 properties if you need a change of scenery, some action, or to do shopping. Sunset is pretty secluded but we enjoyed that as it was fairly quiet. Most staff were awesome and fluent in English! Would stay again but pay more for an upgraded room if there is such a thing!

We were in the AI plan, the Food left much to be desired, except that of the rst Frida and Zao Shen, where personally the Manager attends to you, Daniel is very attentive and helpful as is the waiter Miguel. Manager Daniel was the only one during our multiple meals at several restaurants to come close to knowing if the food was to our satisfaction. In the rest of the restaurants, Bistro, Nao, Quivira Steakhouse, Tazuna, and pools the food lacking in seasoning, flavor and is evident the reduction of costs in the quality of food. Sushi without fish, more than pure rice without flavor; martinis and beers reduced in water; smoothis and juices reduced in water; picaña without seasoning and overcooked; pizza raw and without flavor; fries overcooked and hard; etc. There is a lot of food waste because there is no seasoning or take care of the taste of food. After receiving a bad dish, one tends to ask for another and so continuously because these lack flavor. I wish the restaurant managers would taste the dishes they serve.
The hotel facilities lack maintenance, the walls are very neglected, corridors with humidity and lack of cleaning. The hotel furniture is lacking maintenance and looks worn and uncared for. I wish they had more frequented inspections of all the hotel furniture and more regular renovation cycles. From our last visit 2 years ago you can not see any change or improvement.
In the spa area, the massage therapists are of very high quality and very professional. Massage services are highly recommended. However, in the area of common areas, such as Jacuzzi, saunas, etc., the experience is not as good. They accept a large number of guests, which exceeds the capacity of the spa; which does not make the moment pleasant or relaxing. There is a lot of noise and the staff does not promote silence among guests.
Of the pools, the most recommended is the Sky Pool. The others are very saturated and finding towels is complicated. From the staff at the Sky Pool, congratulations to Arizbeth who is very attentive and always very moved pending the needs of the clients. I wish the rest of you would follow their example and proactivity.

I think the all inclusive is a deal, even if you do not drink, the good food tends to be more expensive in the resort, as you would expect. I personally have almost always used the restaurants (there are 13 between the resorts) not the buffet they have nightly. The breakfast buffet is excellent though Restaurants in Cabo are on the expensive side as well. You can always order virgin fruit drinks/smoothies that would be expensive if you weren't all inclusive! The shuttle to the other resorts is free, you just have to book it, and Wi-Fi is included in the package.
Yes, there are elevators to get to the upper level rooms in the SAME building. The coffee maker is a drip and you have to provide your own coffee. Suggest buying off the property because the coffee in the gift shop on the property is expensive
