Excellent service, so friendly. We love her! She was very nice and personable, brought us fun drinks and the beach was beautiful! The drinks were great and fruity and we loved them. The food was very good!
Koi Oriental Restaurant served perfectly light portions, in which you could try several menu items. Service was kind and attentive, although some items didn't speak to my pallet, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. The Hibachi that shared the space below us sounded fun!
Ernestina is amazing!! Had a great experience with her!!! She made sure we were always taken care of!! Our drinks stayed full, she made sure we were in need of nothing. Has a very good personality and made out trip special.
We have just got home from the most amazing holiday! The hotel was brilliant the food was outstanding and the staff were a delight! The beach was clean and the pools alike. We could not have asked for a beter holiday! The rooms were spacious and clean the staff work so hard all day and night! We loved the roof terrace bar Juventus was so lovely! Damian at the swim up bar was hilarious and kept us all happy all day long! And Jesus at the other pool kept us laughing with his English accent thank you for an amazing holiday we got engaged at Isla majores last Sunday and so this will be a holiday I will never forget and we will return to this hotel again and again! The hotel staff were all amazing
I had the Katzu Chicken and it was delicious. The ramen was also very good. I would definitely recommend coming here. Our server Mario was phenomenal and took care of us like a boss. Come to Grand Park Royals KOI restaurant!
Overall this is a good resort. We stayed in a Villa with a private pool which was beautiful. The food was just ok in all of the restaurants. We ended up eating outside of the resort a bit more than we normally would have. Our Butler Jessica took care of everything for us. From reserving resort amenities to suggestions outside of the resort. She went over and above for my husbands 50th birthday. Room service. The one time limit on room service is a ridiculous rule and the food and service was terrible. The location was great. The resort needs a bit of an upgrade all around. But overall it was a good holiday. I would recommend for families. Not for an all adult trip.
Had the best vacation to celebrate anniversary and baby moon! Everyone was super friendly and the service was beyond excellent. Felt like royalty! Big shout out to Alicia from the beach and and pool bar service for always proving a great experience and keeping up with every need! Thanks to Damian and Jesus for making my virgin drinks in the unexpected baby surprise for vacation in the all inclusive. The buffet had amazing food and servers, we highly recommend when you come to ask for Ivan in the morning and Luis at night! We loved every minute of this vacation and recommend this place to you! Our family of 14 reserved 4 studio rooms through Royal Holiday Club for which my wife and I are members. We were able to secure the rooms and pay the all inclusive fees relatively easy. This was our first time at this property and were were able to check-in relatively easy. Rodrigo handled our pre-departure plans smoothly and communicated with by email several times. Once at the resort Ricardo was our point person and helped us throughout our visit. I thought he did a great job with our requests. We had eight adults and six kids between 4-7 to keep happy. He made numerous reservations for us at restaurants at GPR and arranged for the grandkids to be accommodated at the Kids Club which turned out to be a favorite place for them. They went there often, sometimes more than once a day. Ricardo should be commended for his service. After reading other reviews, we didn’t know what to expect about the food. However, we were all very satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food. The drink service was outstanding and Ernestina is a real treasure when it comes to service around the pool. That lady always has a smile on her face; she interacts with customers very well; and she is a very hard worker despite all of the heat she must endure. She should be commended. I would recommend allowing the people who work around the pool not to have to wear masks since they are outdoors. The facility was very clean and they took Covid protocols very seriously, especially in the restaurant area. I would also like to commend the female hostess who works at the buffet, greeting and seating customers. I am sorry for not being able to remember her name, but she is the main hostess. She is a super worker as well and handles the lines very professionally Please commend her. There are a few things I can recommend for improvement. At the main pool, the people who run all of the activities do an excellent job and need to be commended. However, there is no need for the music to be as loud as it is. The noise at the pool is pretty much non-stop from 10 AM until 11 PM. During most of those hours, the sounds are deafening. It’s great to have music around a pool, but I have never been to a place where it is so loud, not even in Puerto Rico. I’ve been to resorts around the world and this definitely takes the prize for the loudest and at times irritating music. You hear it in the rooms, on the beach, and in restaurants. If you cut the noise in half, you will still accomplish the objective to have fun and not be so irritating to others. The other thing I’d like to mention is the room situation. When I made four reservations each room was to have two double beds in a studio unit. When everyone checked in, only one out of four had this configuration. Realize that these reservations were made months and months in advance and GPR knew that there would be two kids in three of the rooms with their parents. People have to be crazy to think that a mile of four is going to sleep all together in a king bed. They assigned a king bed in three out of the four rooms. It was a real hassle to change and then when they did, they put a single roll-a-way bed. That was not a very good accommodation. In addition, I had also requested that the four rooms be in close proximity to each other. This request was made numerous times before arrival. We got two rooms on the sixth floor and the others were on the first floor. The rooms on the lower floors were subject to nightly disturbances between the hours of 1 AM and 3 AM when the teenage high school kids returned home from the bar scene. I totally understand that people come to Cancun to party, but GPR could have done a much better job of not putting these high school kids near families and older adults. I am sure these high school groups bring in lots of cash to the hotel in the form of room reservations, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of others. There didn’t seem to be any parental supervision of these kids, nor was there any hotel security around to keep these people quiet. Keep in mind that the loud music outside stopped playing at 11 PM and then the rowdy high school kids show up from 1 AM to 3 PM. This sure makes for difficult sleeping, especially when young kids are involved. I also believe that they probably took a lot of the studio rooms with two double beds, leaving us with kings. So I would say this resort did a better than expected job of making our family vacation worthwhile with lots of memories. Had there not been the few weaknesses, I wouldn’t have hesitated to give this resort a five star review. It is a great value for the money, has an outstanding workforce, is clean, provides fun and entertainment, and the food/drink selections were superb.…
Ernestina was absolutely amazing. I never had to get out of my seat or out of the pool to get anything. She made the experience here unforgettable. She was so kind and truly the best. This was truly the best vacation I have been on.
Damian at the pool bar, amazing guy. So friendly and loves to chat. He’s the best member of staff in the bar and makes amazing drinks! Very generous on the tequilaaaa Remembers your order and is such a nice guy in general.
