Last Year I visited Sombra del Agua Mid September. I was so content with my decision to stay there. The Decoration and the Patio at night were amazing. Everything is so close so get around. Had to change my vacation destination this year but guess I will be going to Sombra del Agua. Checking out there website and seeing all the Precautions they are taking makes me feel comfortable to go back And enjoy a week in San Cristobal. Can’t wait for September to see you guys again Also the Best Carajillos
Incredible place that a talented young person Andrea Urbina(Guest Experience at the Hotel) presented to me! She also recommended me a great restaurant: El Secreto! This is the hotel you should enjoy, asking for a minimalist bedroom!
This is a very nice hotel for the price you pay. The patio is absolutely divine, at night they light fire pits and that makes it sooo cozy great to have drinks with family and friends. Nice rooms. The restaurant has good food as well. Very well located, near the andador and other nice places.
Cute hotel with a great atmosphere, warm rooms with AC/heater rather new appearance on furniture and bathroom. Great place especially because we travelled in winter months were heating is a MUST at night. Good value for the price. Everything in walking distance, a separate place to have breakfast is inside the hotel (unfortunately almost no veggie/vegan options) All the good things being said, we staid for 3 nights and when we got there there was a dead fly and a shampoo cap in the window of our bathroom. Noone cleaned during all our stay.
The hotel was in the centre of San Cristóbal. A short walk to many bars and restaurants the town has to offer. The hotel itself was very clean and stylish. The courtyard was very cute, at night time they would light fires that you could sit around. The rooms were spacious and had all the essentials. The lighting in rooms was quite limited it would benefit from a few more lamps. The breakfast was great had lots of options to choose from with both Mexican and western style dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful when booking tours. Overall great hotel and I highly recommend! 😊
