The service is excellent. Everyone was courteous, professional and eager to provide a good impression. We had 2 interior rooms facing a courtyard, so no windows to the outside. The beds were comfortable. The hot water in one of the rooms never got very hot. They have a full breakfast, with fruit and eggs. The fruit never changed. Papaya and pineapple. The eggs were always overcooked. So the quality of the breakfast was not good, but you certainly would not go hungry. The internet was extremely slow. It is a 15 minute walk to the center of town.
Excellently well, super welcoming and comfortable, to be a hotel with so many years of history it is very well sewn, thanks to the manager who gave us the tour of the hotel explaining The history that it has in Mexican culture, the receptionist Carlos and the Kitchen boy rey for the rich breakfast we enjoyed in the morning, we will definitely return !!!
Our stay was lovely, we enjoyed everyday. When we first got at the hotel, Juan de Dios was welcoming and he was also our server during our dinner at Las Escaleras which is another lovely hotel. The chef made a vegetarian dinner for us and we really appreciated the gesture. The toilet flush did not work when we got to the room but it was resolved. The breakfast was very complete (more vegan options would be great) and Oscar was always taking care of what we needed, he was awesome. Our room was very well taken care by our maid, she did a great job too Kudos to the hotel and the team.
Elegante y confortable. Sin duda volvería. The rooms have a special design that takes you to what is really San Cristobal, liven up your stay with flowers and a pleasant smell, the super attentive staff I do not give a better rating because I can not, but in truth this hotel is one of the Best I've been to. Elegant and comfortable I would definitely go back.
So, my daughter is studying at Universidad des los Americas in Puebla and was on spring break, so I thought we’d take a road trip. Airbnb is my usual go to, but when we got to San Cristóbal we couldn’t find our place, and, while driving around the area where it was supposed to be, decided that we didn’t want to be so far from city center. My daughter got on the phone and found the Grand Guadalupe. What a gem! An old converted mansion, walkable to all things San Cristóbal, but far away enough to be relaxing. Our room: king bed and full bath downstairs, full bed, sink up a spiral staircase. Full breakfast (lots of options on the menu) gratis. FYI: menu is only in Spanish (true of most of southern Mexico). Angel and Oscar man the front desk and are uber helpful. Note: the only window in our room opened up into an interior hotel walkway, so, if you need fresh air, either get ready to have others watch you sleep, or choose a room other than 310. Didn’t take pix, but a wonderful place. …
