Nestled in the heart of the city, Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City garners praise for its prime location, making it easy for guests to discover nearby attractions. The hotel's cleanliness and luxurious amenities, including a beautiful courtyard, consistently receive accolades, although the value proposition has been questioned by some who find the costs steep without a corresponding sense of luxury. While the service is often celebrated for its attentiveness, the hotel's rooms, despite being spacious, are noted to be in need of a modern update.

We stayed at the FS Mexico City for 3 nights and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil place to stay in a perfect location within the City. On arrival, our flight was delayed and we had a tight window to make our coveted window at Pujol. The FS arranged driver got us in ahead of schedule, the front desk checked us in lightning fast, the concierge called the restaurant on our behalf, and they had a car ready for us after check in. We made it due to the FS’s top notch service.

Our room was great with a beautiful courtyard view and it was sufficiently well insulated to never bother us with noise. The courtyard was decorated beautifully for Valentine’s Day. We enjoyed brunch at Zanaya, the restaurant with a patio on the courtyard. The food quality wasn’t quite up to par with other FS properties, but it was still very good and a fair value.

Cars arranged through the hotel were often nicer than uber black, more reliable, and at least as affordable for the most part.

The room was a generous size for entry level and consistent with FS quality. We did notice that the shower door & toilet seat wouldn’t stay in place. I’m sure it could’ve been fixed expediently if we asked, but it wasn’t worth the trouble. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of linens, products and service. Scheduling cleanings & turn down service through the app is incredible.

We live that this place is a beautiful oasis in the heart of the city. If you’re visiting Mexico City, I doubt there’s a better place to stay.

We recently returned from three nights at the Four Seasons in Mexico City. This is an extremely elegant property which is beautifully situated on the Reforma. Check-in was a breeze and the staff was extremely helpful. The lobby has a very unusual design but was nevertheless very comfortable.

Our room was what one expects from a Four Seasons, beautifully appointed in all respects and overlooking the interior courtyard. And oh that courtyard. Must be seen in order to be fully appreciated.

The restaurant for breakfast and lunch looks out towards the courtyard. Guests are seated inside and out, and the breakfast buffet is a 10. We were slightly disappointed with the cocktail selection at the bar, but that is nothing more than a nitpick.

The gym is newly renovated and quite spacious, including a decent selection of machines and free weights. The swimming pool is lovely and clean, and the locker rooms are nicely appointed. No disappointments here.

The location of the hotel is impossible to beat. The area is rich in cultural history, showcasing incredible modern architecture as well as easy access to incredible museums, restaurants, and shopping.

This was our first trip to Mexico City, and other than the incredible and exhausting traffic jams, we are eager to return and once again enjoy this fabulous property.

I just came back from a business trip in Mexico City and had the opportunity to stay at the Four Seasons Mexico City, best place to stay not just for the location but most important during this times of covid-19, you feel safe as they took all the necessary actions in order to make you feel comfortable.
The room was perfectly clean and sanitized everyday, they take reservations to the gym so you are not with other people or at least with just a few.
We had meeting with clients for breakfast and it was great because the place is open.
These guys are taking the covid 19 very seriously and with al protocols.
Thanks to the GM Ian and his team for making us feel at home!!!

We just spent 5 nights at The Four Seasons in Mexico City. We had breakfast every day 2 days in the room which was very average , first day everything was ice cold , second time not hot still both times plane bagels hard as a rock and cold eggs . The breakfast buffet was fine , nothing spectacular, the service was always very good , very nice waiters . We ate in the main dining room for dinner , the fish was okay , mashed potatoes were very good! My husbands steak was supposed to be medium and it was way overcooked . We ate at the bar 2 nights and we enjoyed the atmosphere, best food in hotel was the ham and cheese chrochettes were awesome! The concierge staff was always very nice and helpful. The rooms were fine , no hot water twice . All in all very expensive for a decent hotel but nothing amazing!

Positives:
- great central location
- less expensive than other high end options
- upgraded to suite after the first night

Negative:
Is not on par with many other Four Seasons properties. Staff is not as attentive / genuine. No complementary early morning coffee in the lobby and their cafe offers coffee from just oversized Nespresso machine. Tired property. Pool area is very tired / outdated and missing little tiles in the floor of the pool and jacuzzi. Shower room in the gym / spa area was not draining. Gym had 3 days of strong smell of paint thinner and made it impossible to work out unless you want to get high and brain damage. Famous bar downstairs is staffed with very unfriendly and rude bar tenders. Newspaper / digest never got delivered to us even though asked at the check in. Etc etc etc

As much as we enjoyed our overall visit in CDMX, experience at FS could have been much nicer if the management would have stronger attention to details.

My stay at the Four Seasons Mexico City was incredible. I had traveled during the era of Covid, which of course made me a bit nervous.

However, this hotel goes way above and beyond keeping its guests and employees safe. From mandatory temperature screenings, to masks in all public areas, it's exactly what I was looking for when travelling.

Other notes about safety - the gym and pool are open with reservation. this made for a great private gym experience for me! Kudos to the gym/pool manager for being a hospitable and helpful person during my stay. The gym is sanitize between every single guest who uses it.

There is gel sanitizer everywhere you turn. It's infused with aloe vera and very gentle on the skin

Other than that, it was business as usual (in a good way!)

Service was unbelievable. Everyone has a smile, and while we are in Mexico, and they are not expected to know English, basically everyone at the hotel spoke English. When they noticed I would say some words in Spanish, I could tell they were excited to help me practice my Spanish, and repeat everything in Spanish and English. That was a lot of fun for me.

Room Service was excellent each time, as was breakfast. I really suggest having at least one breakfast at the hotel. the semi-outdoor setting was so colorful and relaxing, and the food was fantastic.

If you are looking for a safe and pampered stay in an incredible area, this is the one.

We are currently staying at the Four Seasons Mexico City. It is a mediocre hotel. The decor is nice but some of the finer points we have come to appreciate with the Four Seasons are lacking at this hotel.

The hotel is a large square and when you have a room as we do on the opposite side from the lobby, you need to walk a city block each time you want to leave your room. We understand the difficulty of putting another elevator in but allowing for entry and exit through the stairwell would be beneficial for such an inconvenient room location.

In addition, we have been by the pool two days in a row. There is no one to provide towel service or other “little touches” by the pool that you would expect with a Four Seasons. In addition, drink service is very difficult to come by and when you get it results in underwhelming drinks at high prices.

There is also a lack of amenities in the room. There was no hair dryer and no dental kit, shaving kit or other amenities that we generally expect with this type of hotel.

The Four Seasons Mexico City is an Ohexcellent hotel, with a great location on the Reforma Boulevard and a stone-throw away from the park.

Our experience with them was seamless from the moment we were met at the airport by the hotel’s arranged car to the moment they dropped us off. The hotel’s team are very friendly. They will greet you upon arrival and often ask if want some extra bottles of water when leaving the hotel (which is a crucial thing as Mexico City’s climate is very dry [humidity levels are around the 20% mark]).

The Concierge team are also super. Always friendly and helpful. We booked a trip to Teotihuacan through them and we’re extremely happy with our guide and overall experience.

Our room was modern and spacious. The only problem was that the people walking and taking in the hallways were audible in the room so the hotel might want to think about soundproofing the doors.

Breakfast was a very pleasant affair. We had the full Mexican buffet which offers lots and lots to choose from, including a live eggs, pancakes and waffles cooking stations. Quality was excellent and service friendly.

For those having an early rise (before 6:30am) free apples, Palmiers, coffee and tea are offered at the ‘coffee shop’.

The only point of critic that we have is the pool are, which needs a facelift, as it seems that some of the tiles of the pool are coming loose.

Overall, we would highly recommend the Four Seasons for anyone visiting Mexico City.

The Four Seasons are as good as ever, and they never failed to amaze me. The price in this city can be described as excellent value, classic and beautiful architecture, master-level design, each piece of furniture reflects low-key luxury and aesthetic standards. The location is convenient, it’s on the Reforma Avenue, the hotel is less than 1 km from the Museum of Anthropology and the Angel Independence Column. Love to come back one day!

As a loyal customer and FS lover above anything, this experience was quite underwhelming and nothing like I’ve experienced at any other properties. I wanted to test out the restaurant at the hotel for breakfast before booking my reservation, and everything about the experience was just disappointing. First off, the service was not FS standards - the host immediately seemed to question my appearance at the restaurant without a room at the hotel. I was seated, but everything seemed so unorganized and the staff didn’t bother much to greet their guests, neither make them feel at home. At the table right next to me, four men were allowed to smoke. (INSIDE THE RESTAURANT, no thanks)
I was offered complimentary coffee and juice (as it is at most other properties, but of course receiving my bill it was clear that I had been misinformed and it was very much not complimentary)
Oh well, still excited for a true wake up with FS-experience, I received my breakfast to find a handful of moldy blueberries...
Having paid my almost $400-bill, I was approached and questioned TWICE on the way out whether or not I had paid for my meal... terribly unprofessional.
Left feeling so upset and disappointed.
I’ll stick to FS hotels and their level of service in Asia instead, St Regis it’ll be here.
