Horrible experience , cockroaches dead and alive everywhere. Rooms were not clean, horrible food only restaurant we could eat decent food was blaze and pureza. Buffet food and all the other restaurant was so nasty not happy at all with this resort, we have been to hyatt ziva on Cancun and Cabo bothe we’re great not to mention Cabo one was one of a kind but after this one no more hyatt and I won’t recommend this to anyone
This is our second time at Hyatt Ziva PV in 4 years and we once again had a fabulous time. The secluded location, beautiful landscaping, delicious and numerous food options are just a few of the reasons we love this place but the amazing staff takes top price. Just a few standouts include Soladad, Susana, George, Hector and Ceasar from Vivaz, Paula from Blaze, Arturo works his tail off at the pool/beach, Joel from Pureza, Pablo and Johana w/entertainment and Lisa and Nancy did not disappoint with yoga, water aerobics and fitness!! We experienced nothing but genuine kindness from everyone we interacted with. There are so many entertainment options available if you choose to participate. Cooking lessons, casino night, blackjack, pingpong, pool/beach volleyball and evening shows to name a few. We were so sad to leave but are already looking forward to our next visit!!!…
The staff was wonderful! Accommodating, friendly and helpful. The resort was beautiful and the grounds were kept clean. Only wished there were more Breakfast/Lunch options, as not all the restaurants were open during that time. We also would have loved a list of daily activities/fun offerings put in our room or simply just more communication about that somehow so we knew more of what was going on. i.e. You could get a drink in a real coconut or pineapple, etc. but it was only offered on one day and only for one hour in a certain location. We wouldn't have known about it but we happened to ask around. The food was great and there was a nice variety of options. The location of the hotel was perfect as well! We basically had our own private beach in a beautiful cove with no other hotels around. I also really liked that there were multiple pools so you can be away from the crowd/music/activities if you wanted. The hotel rooms were also pretty quiet and the security was impressive and made us feel safe. The spa was wonderful and relaxing and it was great having a separate pool just for spa guests. We decided to book a spa package on site and it was very easy. I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone wanting a great all-inclusive experience.…
Nice resort and beach food was very good only downside blaze restaurant very hot no fans to circulate the air and renovating caused minor inconvenience one elevator constantly out of service buffet food and staff were very good
Overall good experience, food was great and staff were helpful. Hotel is showing some age and is currently under construction in some areas, bed was very uncomfortable. The grounds and beach are beautiful!
Over-all experience was great. The tower that we were at is getting re-painted so it’s not as aesthetically pleasing to the eye. But, it didn’t affect our stay at all.Great restaurant selections. There were some selections in the menu of each restaurant that was not as good. But, you can always get a different one. Since we have our 6 yr old with us, it would have been nice to have a kid’s menu in each restaurant and not limited to room service menu only. Although the kid’s club is temporarily suspended, they have prepared short activities for kids like arts/crafts that was in a centralized location. So the kids that are swimming in the pool can join the activity and just go back to swimming right after. The food carts are our favorite. They serve lunch and snacks in those food carts depending on the time of day. It is so convenient and the food/snack is always great. …
We had an absolutely amazing time at the Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta. Great oceanfront location with a mountain backdrop, 30 minutes from the airport. Beautiful sunsets, superb sandy beach in a private cove, complimentary use of kayaks, stand up paddle and boogie boards. Ample amount of pool and beach loungers along with umbrellas and palapas. We enjoyed the daily games of beach volleyball and then cooling off in the ocean or pool located on either side of the court. We were all very impressed with the food. I was a travel agent for 20 + years and traveled to many high end all inclusive resorts over the years in Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Virgin Islands. The food at the Hyatt Ziva was at the top. Consistently great at all restaurants including the buffet. We frequented the Deli for our daily dose of caffeine. Great coffee shop with any beverage you can imagine hot or iced along with delicious pastries, muffins sandwiches and desserts. The staff was warm, welcoming and always accommodating. We stayed in the club tower on the 9th floor and the balconies were large and offered privacy and incredible views. Check in was a breeze and communication throughout our stay was seamless. I want to send a big shout out to Gio and Pablo for the amazing jungle tour. I actually enjoyed it so much the first time with the kids (ages 19- 22) that I did it again with my husband and got to swim to the waterfall. This is one of the hidden treasures and exclusive for Hyatt guests. We also attended a cooking class led by Pablo and Joanna and learned their secrets to the best guacamole. The resort offered daily fitness classes and I enjoyed Lisa’s morning yoga on the beach (even on the days I just observed and participated from my balcony) and aqua Zumba. I looked forward to her energy each day. I wish I could remember everyone’s names so they could be recognized for their excellent service. I should have jotted them down but I’ll remember to next time;) I could go on forever but to sum it up our group of 7 ranging in age from 19-50’s all had a wonderful time. I would go back again in a heartbeat.…
Good experience overall. Room service was horrible wait times were super long. And we stayed on tree side of construction so that sucked. Also bathroom smelled like sewer which made the entire room smell. The staff was great
This joint is absolutely ridiculous. We got here yesterday and the air conditioning was not working in our room. They said they’d fix it and they never did. On top of that, they never sent housekeeping to our room to clean, bring clean towels, make the beds, anything! So we called and they said they didn’t know why they didn’t clean my room and they were gone for the day when they weren’t, they were right in the next tower! So finally we were able to get them to clean our room and they left the room the same and just remade the beds. Tonight I called TWO AND A HALF HOURS AGO for bottles of water because housekeeping never restocked and these clowns still are not here. I’ve called TWICE for my waters and they haven’t shown up. I am disgusted and this place does not accommodate you!! The worst part about all of this is that they neglected to tell anyone that there was major construction work going on throughout the whole resort right now, so there are workers constantly drilling, a mess everywhere. I want my money back in full this is absolutely terrible.…
I had an amazing experience! This was my first all inclusive and it didn’t disappoint. I will be back for sure! Also, thank you to Captain Jorge great staff member he was always so attentive and had great conversations. Get the upgrade to the room with a jacuzzi on balcony it’s well worth it.
