Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I want to thank Abel Osuna and the rest of the staff. Very friendly and they make you feel welcome.

It's a "no stress" kind of place.

The rooms are not the largest but they are clean and just fine for a short stay... I've checked out a few other places and the Hotel Mazatlan does a good job by comparison.

I think for a short stay on a budget it's an excellent choice and would stay here again.

Again, the staff is great !

I love, love, love this place! Everything was great. The good at the restaurant downtown. The availability of countless activities. The clean rooms with the great view. I especially lived the private beach for the guests. Plan to return soon!

My wife and I were on a bus tour of Mexico and this the last hotel we stayed in along with the group before returning to Baja California. She was suffering from a recent ankle injury, so we asked for something on the first floor. When we woke in the morning there were several giant water bugs in the room. They bothered my wife more than anything. My complaint would be the showers drained slowly so the restroom got flooded during showers and rooms were small. Fortunately it was only one night.
