We go often to Torres to eat, drink, listen to music and to shop with the Mexican vendors. There are highlights to look forward to also: Ishmael brings your drink on the top of his head and has been doing this for over 20 years!!!
Another highlight is one of the beach vendors that has been there for many years-Aurora. She sells jewelry and her husband sells t-shirts, scarves, handbags and other Mexican items!
Bottom line Torres is one of our favorite places to go in all of Mazatlan 😁

This was our 4th visit to Mazatlan, first time staying here. We had always stayed at El Cid Marina and enjoyed it thoroughly. We had to cancel a long awaited trip to Paris due to covid restrictions and had only 2 weeks to book a trip. El Cid booked so after reading the reviews and since nothing else was available in the timeframe we needed we booked it. Really glad we did. This place is great! The resort is very pretty and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. All the balconies face the ocean. We were on the 5th floor and the view was spectacular! The 1 bedroom we had was spacious and well equipped and very clean. Full kitchen with everything you should need. There is a convenience store on site. It's a little pricey but better than taking a taxi into town. They have a little of everything. There is a laundry on site which we used and it's clean and worked well. There is only 1 restaurant here but it's a really good one and the prices are good for what you get, the service is very good too. We had 2 Mexican Comb Dinners, grilled chicken breast, chili relleno stuffed with cheese, chicken enchilada, beans, rice, guacamole and the chips and pico and 2 cokes. Our total bill was $25.78. Everything we had there was good. I'm not going to tell you about BBQ night or the ribs, you will have to experience that for yourself. The pool area and beach area has plenty of loungers and umbrellas though it fills up fast around the pool. Never had a problem finding a place to sit. If you're a nonsmoker you'll love it here. No smoking on balconies. There is only 1 smoking area and it is downwind a short walk away from pool and beach areas. There really isn't anything close to this resort but only left once for a tour. Not a issue with us. No maid service due to covid but they will bring you towels etc. Again not a issue with us. This is a great resort. I am pretty sure we will return.

We had a 2 bed/2bath unit with full kitchen and a covered, but open patio with a table and chairs and a drying rack. Our view was of the pool area, grounds, and the ocean. It was just lovely. The unit was immaculate and had adequate linens, paper goods, and kitchen service for 8.A mid week refresh was done with no daily service. The unit was pleasantly updated while maintaining some of the more classic charm. The grounds were very walkable with elevators for the units and the areas were all clean of debris, well maintained, and well manicured. All staff wore masks at all times that we saw. Staff seemed genuinely pleasant and helpful. The outdoors areas with pool, spas, and palapas were very nice . The restaurant site is perfection for daily viewing of the sunsets. It is worth the trip for the sunsets alone. The beach access is excellent and it is gorgeous there. Special thanks to Gaby at the front desk: she helped me order a birthday cake to celebrate my husband's birthday. There is a small convenience store on site , a massage therapist, and a concierge. They laminate a :credit card" for use while on site; I appreciated using that. The people staying at the resort were a nice blend of nationalities , ages, and experiences. We met folks on their first trip there as well as folks who call the place "home" with 20 years visiting. It was an excellent visit there for us.

The unit was a good size. We lived the full kitchen, even blender and D/W! They were very quick to respond to any request when we ran short or needed something. One day the blender stopped working and started smoking. I called down and in about 10 mins they brought a brand new blender in a box and switched it out. They sanitized our luggage before bringing it up and the staff were amazing! Would totally recommend this resort. The only con was the living room furniture was old style with wooden arms. Maybe ready for an update!

Resort is very clean. The restaurant is amazing along with all of the staff. (especially Carlos!) The resort has a little store on site with any essentials you may need while on vacation. The concierge on site booked our group a snorkel trip, I highly recommend booking any excursions through him! There is covid testing they can help you book at the front desk, and they will come up to your room for the testing for $45 US dollars. Great resort!

When requesting a one bedroom with a king bed One week in advance and being given a one bedroom with twin beds and being told nothing can be done over the 5 week stay . It wasn’t what we imagined for our 50th anniversary celebration together . No further response from RCI or via management

First trip to Mexico since 1985, which was also when I first visited this Vacation International resort. I knew Mazatlan and Mexico in general were in the midst of big changes and a building boom. The room was pristine and I believe most of the rooms have a view of the ocean. The restaurant on site served well prepared meals at very reasonable prices. One example on BBQ night, the filet mignon was $20 (350 pesos) and excellent! There are 2 happy hours every day. Staff were attentive, accommodating and friendly. We never felt at a disadvantage. Area was quiet compared to the noisy downtown hub bub. The "green" bus stopped within a block of the entrance and a trip downtown was 17 pesos, roughly a dollar. If in a hurry, the same trip was roughly $11 (200 pesos) by taxi. The resort had many activities, was well managed and employees were cheerful. In my experience, cheerful staff are a metric of being respected and well treated by their employer. That translates to staff that respect their customers. I always bring $2 bills for tip money - which connotes our special effort to show appreciation for their gracious and attentive service. Truthfully, one $2 bill no longer gets the attention that it used to, but 2 of them do the job much better than 4 $1 bills! Only problem might be getting a reservation. We met several VI members who were quite surprised that the resort had an opening for non members!

As a timeshare owner in this resort I have visited multiple times and have gifted weeks to my family from time to time as well. This is absolutely my favorite place to stay in the entire property portfolio available to me through the timeshare company, and I've heard nothing but rave reviews from my family too!
Rooms are great, clean, and well equipped. Every room I've stayed in has had an ocean view and swaying palm tree.
Right on the edge of the ocean just a few sandy steps away. Big pool, 2 spa tubs, private lounging areas to just catch the suns' rays.
Then there is the restaurant and bar where they excel at service and good food. I caught a Marlin during my last visit and brought a portion of it to the chef and asked him to cook some up for me. The chef asked me how I would like it cooked, never having eaten Marlin I told him I'd leave it up to him. When my plate of Marlin arrived I was thrilled. Not only did the chef prepare my fish, he prepared it 3 different ways! Grilled, deep fried, and oven baked. This was one of my most memorable dinners ever.
Thanks to the staff of Torres Mazatlan for your excellent customer service through-out the resort!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms had a Mexican decor. Very convent to buses and taxi. You were able to book tours with Rudy who is a very informative. The grounds are kept nice and there is a nice walking area. The wether was warm but some days you need a jacket. We have never gone in January so we did not know about the cool weather. We will not go back in January. The venders do not bother you which is great.

The restaurant is good and service is very good. The specials every night and a happy hour around the pool is 12 to 2 and 4 to 6. Bingo is played every day. It is lots of fun. We are planning to go back when covid is over. The safety is very important and they had everything going in and out and using the elevators. We need a test to return to the US and we were negative. Restaurants in other resorts have safety precautions. If you just want to rest and just hang out this is the place,.

We are Mazatlan condo owners and for years we have frequented the Torres Mazatlan restaurant located on the ocean at the Torres Mazatlan hotel/timeshare.
The staff are excellent as are the varied food selections. The avocado Mazatlan and the tortilla soup are both delicious. Lunchtime for happy hour 12-2 is our usual visit time. The second happy hour is at 4-6pm. A special Thanksgiving meal is served each holiday time as well as a Christmas meal during the Christmas holiday.
