One elevator needs maintenance!
Day 1 , ladies forgot to clean the room.
Breakfast is cold and very slow!
They need more hands in the breakfast area.
The balcony doors are heavy to slide and won’t lock!
Also the king size bed is NOT sold online, you must call them in person.
Parking lot is very small!
Hotel is nice , but at this pace and without maintenance it will loose many returning customers.
Service as well as maintenance is critical!
In the pool area they do not let you put drinks, this to consume what they sell in the hotel, but there are no waiters and it takes a long time to deliver what you ordered. Camstros are very few at most there are 20.
In the restaurant breakfast is very basic, you have to go at the time they open for you to reach to eat, because if you go at 9am there is no longer food, and they take about 1 hour to put some food back. And here are only 2 waiters, which are not enough for the people who come to the place.
The beach area is excellent.
Very friendly reception staff.
There are no hand towels, bathmat nor enough towels. (Two small ones is what we got)
It includes breakfast but it is really bad and limited. You'd better go somewhere else for breakfast (I highly recommend Rico's or Panama which are within walking distance)
The only good thing about this place is the location and views.
Be careful on the beach, this hotel does not provide chairs on it and if you want to have a table and chairs you have to pay to people who are not related to the hotel at all.
Staff guys are great, no complaints about them. Thank you for your kindness, you are the best! Christian is quite a character. We like you man, you are doing a great job there. It's obvious that they do what they can. Bad admin and terrible condition of the hotel is not their fault.
I will never come back to this place. It's a real shame, because the location is fabulous.
However, this was our first time staying here, and we probably won't come back. Despite the prompt response to change the sheets, I just felt uncomfortable for the rest of our stay.
The breakfast room is depressing... no natural light, playing some kenny g elevator music... Breakfast itself isn't bad (though the coffee is terrible) but the area makes you want to run out. We asked if we could take breakfast back to our room or outside and that was met with a wholehearted NO. We joked that the management must be military inspired...
And it's true the patio doors don't lock unless you ask them specifically for a key...
Would be a nice hotel if it was kinder to guests!
"Not a good option, maybe you can get a better place in the same block. I stayed in El Cid hotel in a previous visit...waaay much better. "Read full review
