Visited wed with our son . Had a room for 3 adults which was large . We slept well enough and the towels were large clean and fluffy. Had plenty of hot water. It’s very glumly and dark and the whole place needs a makeover it’s very dated . Not keen on the door locks either

Birthday celebration for Grandson. Food was great, well cooked and served very quickly.. The staff were outstanding, especially Emma and Tamayka. They went out of their way to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction and to make certain our Grandson had a memorable day.

There is a regular bus service from a stop just around the corner from the hotel. The ride is about 15 minutes into the town. From the bus station you can take a second bus up the hill (or quite a stiff walk!) to the cathedral, castle and prison, all well worth a visit. You can buy a day pass for all buses, it works out cheaper for even just those two plus returns.
