The place has everything to be excellent, but...
There is a general apathy that translates into permanent setbacks. Example:
During our entire stay we never had butter for breakfast because "the supplier didn't come"
It may be nonsense, but having a supermarket 100 meters away it is unacceptable to spend 6 days without being able to offer a proper breakfast.
The pool became dirtier with each passing day. The guests themselves were in charge of removing the leaves, but the turbidity of the water began to be difficult to handle. Until the day came when no one could get in.
If you are going to stay, escape from half board. The menu is very limited and to that we must add that some options do not have it (due to the supplier...)
Oh...another thing...don't dine there if you don't like cats since the one in the house walks over the tables (a delight...)
The park is huge (plus point) but the grass reaches above your ankles.
Anyway...if none of this worries you, it is the ideal place. Otherwise, I would think about other options.

A dirty place, without any amenities and not cheap at all. The room hadn’t enough light, the toilet was really really dirty. External swimming pool with dirty water, spa without enough maintenance. Please if you’re the manager and you’re reading this your place needs a lot of love. Thanks

We stayed at Aguas Pampas in very low season. Villa ventana was empty and there was only other room taken. Our room was cosy if rather small and the staff provided a cot of our baby at no extra cost and did that in the few minutes we left the room.
We did not have the chance to try the spa, but the swimming pool was very inviting and, for the size of the hotel, it was quite big.
In our experience, the best part was the pleasant staff the helped us to feel at home.

We Spend 2 nights here and it was just wonderful. Even though, communication without Spanish is a bit difficult but everybody tries very hard to please. Silvia, the owner speaks German as she is part of thousands of "Wolgadeutsche" that emigrated during the 18th century. The attached restaurant is superb in food and service (try the Dulce de leche Cheesecake, you won't be disapointed).

I love this hotel. It is in such a beautiful setting. The room had a little porch with a bench to sit and enjoy and read. The staff bends over backwards to please. Two pools, one indoor, one outdoor. A spa, massage, and dry sauna. I would recommend this hotel highly.

This place is great, excellent service and accommodations. We decided to include the dinner in our stay, wow !!!! ( you can pay just for the room or the room plus dinner)
Great food at a bargain price when bought together with the room (drinks were not included).
My wife had a 2 hr massage for about 20 dollars. (Can't beat that)

We went on the 2024 carnival holiday as a family of 3 people. We rented a luxury quadruple (sic). We use the outdoor and indoor pool. We had massages and enjoyed the jacuzzi (no pressure in the water). You feel like you are going to a place where no one listens to your complaints, you pay for an excellent place and the service is mediocre. At breakfast they had the croissants counted and if they didn't they wouldn't release them. Full board is a terrible option. The rest's menu is brief and there were always menus missing, which they themselves are in charge of putting on the menu. In short, we went to rest and rented the best place in the villa for ourselves. We were disappointed by the high cost and poor service. When you ask in the village what happened to the hotel, the local people tell you. high staff turnover, little care for human warmth, etc, etc, etc. - we had gone 5 years ago and we wanted to repeat an excellent experience, it's a shame but it didn't happen that way. The surroundings and beauty of the villa also make me more cautious in my comment. Time will tell if the splendor of Agua Pampas returns or if it remains to be remembered... surely it depends on someone, a tremendous decision... the boys do what they can... they fight a war with a wooden sword, so it's up to them there is sincere respect.
