Detailed Reviews
Booked a Deluxe Garden Room with an extra bed for 2 nights. Room is large, HUGE Super king bed. Nice garden. We requested for a corner room and got B01. Bed had some hairs and we got housekeeping to come and change. It was done promptly. Everything else in the room was fine. Good design and really comfy. The only thing that was inexcusable was on the second day when we returned around 3pm the room wasn’t made up. We call housekeeping to come and clean, to be told that since we didn’t hang MAKE UP ROOM card on the door they didn’t clean and now it’s too late since all maids had gone home!! That’s a first for me!
Breakfast was a bit basic for the price of the hotel, but at least there were some changes with local dishes on different days.
The lobby looked kinda deserted - Hopefully due to low occupancy. There was a pool table, nice cozy sitting area.. But I didn’t spot any bar and such.
Would I return? Yes, mainly since there aren’t that many other nicer hotels. I’ve stayed at a few around Tanah Rata/Brinchang.

The hotel was okay, in terms of location. It's located in Tanah Rata, where you can find most eateries and other facilities nearby. It was a rather calming experience. Breakfast however was very limited, there weren't many choices. So, might as well go for breakfast outside. There is no iron in the room, guests will have to use the iron room nearby the elevator.
All in all, it was okay.

Early check in with room upgraded from Deluxe room to Pine room :) Spacious room, everything in good condition unless the toilet bowl got a stain. I think even clorox cannot remove the stain 😑
Since i arrived early, i want to take a nap. But cannot sleep coz i can hear other guest chit chat outside and kids running 😑
I enjoyed steamboat at their restaurant, taste average but i love the surrounding.
Prepare your water bottle coz there is no water bottle provided in room, but every level got coway machine. So u just need ur own bottle. That's not a problem to me coz most of hotel provide drinking water, everytime i check in to hotel i will bring my own mineral water.
Iron is not provided, u need to go to the iron room i think (im not rally sure bout this) but i bring my own iron. 😆
If u saw advertisement, this hotel building is very beautiful with colourful light at night, also have big chandelier at lobby but Malay say 'non hado'. They didn't turn on the colourful lamp and the chandelier (ops im at the lobby around 730pm, the chandelier not yet turn on, maybe they turn on after that or maybe not at all to save budget 😅)

Please see an extract from my email to the hotel management below. I want to be very clear that the staff are great and we feel so bad having to do this (we talked to them personally and they fully understand) but it is a disgrace that we have been denied a refund.
Dear Century Pines and Thong Sin Management
My partner and I were booked in for two nights at the Century Pines Resort in the Cameron Highlands (last night and tonight). Upon arrival to our room we noticed small oval shaped blood stains that are consistent with the presence of bed bugs. We politely asked to speak to staff on the front desk away from other customers so that we did not cause a scene. The staff were great and moved us room immediately. Unfortunately, the new room had stains on the bed linen and had to be replaced. The pillow case, bed linen, and duvet replacements all had the same oval blood stains consistent with bed bugs. When we pointed that out the staff replaced the sheets for a third time with the same outcome, new sheets with oval blood stains. We went back to the front desk and spoke with a member of staff privately to say that we could not stay in the hotel with the presence of bed bugs and would like a refund. The member of staff contacted the manager and arranged for us to have a chat with him the next day as he was not available. We moved to another hotel at this point.
We met with the manager today and he was very apologetic and completely understands why we left. He seen the evidence (photos attached) and supports our claim for a refund. However, the head quarters or corporate ownership of this hotel has refused our refund despite the staff being completely on our side and us having evidence. It is a shame that the hotel and the lovely staff are being held back by the ownership.
Avoid this hotel at all costs until the corporate management support the hotel management and staff in addressing the many issues that they are aware of and want to fix. Especially the bed bugs.

We stayed here for 3 nights but ended up having to leave after 2 nights as we just couldn’t stay in the filth of this room any longer (see photos).
Considering this was also during the Covid pandemic you would expect the cleaning to be even more thorough, not the opposite.
SOPs were not followed in the communal areas or enforced by staff (who didn’t seem to care). Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with guests sharing serving spoons and all food was open to the elements with many guests not wearing masks. The lifts had no tape for SOPs and we regularly saw large numbers of guests pile into the lift (who were clearly not together).
The reception staff when checking out didn’t seem to care about our complaints about the room and when we spoke to (one of many) general managers he said ‘all I can say is sorry’ and this was without any form of sincerity. No offer of putting us in another room for the next night we had paid for or anything and claimed they couldn’t give us a refund and used an example of someone having an emergency and needing to leave and they couldn’t refund them. I personally wouldn’t expect it in an emergency, however I do when it is due to the filth of the hotels cleaning standards.
I would definitely not recommend anyone waste their time or money staying here. This hotel ruined our first trip to the Cameron Highlands.

Booked a 2 nights stay with 4pax but only given 2 breakfast vouchers while another 2 is subject to RM40 charges for 2 small kids. Not much of options for vegetarian, so we decide to opt for outside food the next day which is better. Overall the room is clean and comfy.

We booked a duplex suite. It’s a room that can accommodate four people. Master bed upstairs with en-suite which is spacious and comfortable. Our teenage boys stay in the main room downstairs in roll up beds. They say the beds are not so comfortable. There is another bathroom downstairs which is very convenient. A small bench area with sink and fridge. Very good space overall. Water dispenser is provided on each floor if required since they don’t provide bottled water. Breakfast included is just nice. Enough to get your day started.price wise is reasonable.

First of all, I am sorry for the late review. Been too busy with work.
Okay, to start my review, I actually have been here on Sept 2019 so this will be my second time here. This time I got to stay in the Deluxe Room which is on the 2nd floor of the building.
The decor and ambience are great with the blueish hue. Contrary with the Deluxe Garden I took on my first travel here, this room has its own unique features. You could see the playground directly from here. The basic toiletries provided should be enough and the toilet is clean.
Compared to my first travel, the breakfast is slightly improved and I really appreciated it. A positive point should be given if the hotel actually take your feedback seriously and improve on them. Thanks!
To wrap it up, Century Pines does maintain good service and really do improvise on the area that need improvements plus to mention the location, it is worth your visit at least once in Cameron Highlands.
Special mention : Mr Johanan and Century Pines Manager, thanks for the wonderful experience and hospitality given!

I'd say I expected more. My personal simple request wasn't even bothered by the hotel(I requested for a simple Swan towel that was promised when I called earlier to request). Check in time was delayed but expected to check out on the dot. Room was great but doesn't seem like new as advertised (pines room was supposed to be in the 'new wing'). Bathtub looks uninviting due to the sealant. Quite appealed when I saw the small fridge that was old, musky and was not functioning. No bath towel was provided and I had to call and get it myself. No small toothbrush and toothpaste was provided as well. Breakfast was okay but some of the staff did not wear mask initially and most guests did not even attempt to wear a mask during the buffet. I've heard good things about this hotel before staying but perhaps I expected too much. I know it's just a 4 star hotel but.... I hope better service can be provided in the future. I wanted to write this feedback during checkout but there was no form available! (Only empty paper was offered to write my feedback instead).

The hotel is excellent. The lobby is next to some open-access game tables, like Foosball, and Pool. Also next to the lobby is the restaurant/café. After a quick check in, a bellhop took our luggage up on a trolley, which was a refreshing experience for once. Our room was massive, and there was a private Wi-Fi router for us. There was also a balcony, a fair-sized television, and a huge bed. There were also 2 couch chairs, and a coffee table. The view from the balcony was quite good. The bathroom had a shower AND a bathtub, in case you wanted to either have a quick shower or a relaxing bath. The whole bathroom was covered in marble. The sink also had 2 knobs, for either hot or cold water. The couches were very comfortable. The bed was also very nice and springy. Lots of abstract decorations hung from the walls. The breakfast was also very good. They had a special counter for eggs, and there were a wide selection of food to choose from. Lots of attractions were also nearby. Overall, 10/10. Excellent.

I am not sure about the connecting room , you can ask the front desk or call. The Deluxe room on the 4th floor front facing do have bath tub, a separate shower room and a separate room for toilet.
I stayed in duluxe room, its already huge with access to a nice garden at the back.. not sure for the pines room..
yes. just to share, nothing to do with your question though. i stayed at garden deluxe room and the person next door nicely puffing his cigarette in the nice breezy afternoon n the smoke went to my room .. so u know ...
I would recommend you to check through Agoda or any hotel booking portals on room availability and prices.
