We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stopover here and plan to return. The small, 18-room hotel is ideally situated facing the river. Paolo gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Our room (#6) looked out over the river and had a small balcony. The room was plenty large enough and very comfortable. Everything very clean. The situation in Coulon is a joy. This is a special village (particularly out of season). Walks from the hotel along the river bank are delightful. Restaurants are plentiful nearby. Breakfast, served in a charming room across the quiet lane was perfect. Plenty of choice and supervised by the charming Natalie. This is a very special find.
