Dinner was terrible. We got stuff crabs as an appetizer which tasted like a bag of salt. We informed the waiter laura of this as well. When it came to our entrees, we asked what did she recommend. She said I havent tried anything because...More
My boyfriend and I came to St Croix for the first time this week and spent 4 nights at The Palms. We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to stay here. After all the hurricanes and turmoil within the country we had a hard...More
Stayed here for a wedding on a staycation, over priced, bad food. Room was dirty and very dated. Best thing about the place was the view. Bathroom was the nicest thing about the place. Much better options for the money.
I didn’t have a chance to stay at this hotel but I did have my sunset beach wedding there. It was a very pretty view. The grounds were very clean and the water was beautiful. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant afterwards which was...More
We have stayed here in the 80's, 90's, and lastly in 2010's, but it has really changed since then. Do the new owners have any hospitality experience at all? It doesn't seem so. The check-in experience was dismal. It consisted of "Hi. ID and last...More
The Palms at Pelican Cove sits on 7 acres of coconut palms and white sand beach, and is just 3 miles west of Christiansted. There is swimming in front of the property, and with Long Reef just a few yards off …Moreshore, excellent snorkeling (day and night) is also available. We provide complimentary snorkel gear and tours of the reef. Our freshwater pool is one of the largest on the island and is regularly used by SCUBA for introductory dive lessons. We have a tennis court and complimentary gear. There are many hiking trails on the island and we regularly make excursions with guests. There are 40 spacious rooms at the hotel, and all offer panoramic oceanfront views from expansive terraces. All rooms are air conditioned, and are equipped with a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The Palms Restaurant is located on property and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Mahogany Bar is located beachside, serves up wonderful beverages, and has a late night bar menu. The front desk is open 24/7 and security is provided around the clock. Wireless internet access is complimentary. The Palms won the 2010 Best Beach Resort and Best Hotel on St. Croix as voted by readers of the Virgin Islands Daily News. Less

The Palms itself has some entertainment, Wednesday is trivia night , the Mucho Jumbo will resume performances at the hotel in October, on Monday's. Friday is surf and turf night with live entertainment and most Sundays have live entertainment. We are here in September and with hurricane Irma passing through most entertainments have cancelled. Nonetheless, by the time you arrive things will back to normal. There is a ping pong table, pool, bean bag toss game, snorkeling, learn to scuba dive or just chill out. The town is a short drive from the hotel nice shops, Fort Christiansted, Alexander Hamilton home and local dishes to try. Hope this helps
