Great views from the restaurant and the food was delicious. The service was also great. The restaurant was high end. Loved the mussels and lobster in a shell. Would visit again and recommend to others.

We are delighted that your family is considering a trip to The Buccaneer! Our resort is family friendly, but we have a blend of travelers year-round. The resort is situated on 340 acres with three beaches so there is plenty of space to be as involved or uninvolved in the daily activities. The resort was very fortunate to have fared well during Hurricane Maria and is currently operating as normal. Our tennis, golf, spa, restaurants, and beaches are all open with guests enjoying them daily. The Buccaneer’s WIFI, phone service, cable and other hotel amenities are available and operating as they were prior to the storm as well. We are doing enhancements to our Grotto Pool (that will be done in couple weeks) as well as opening a new restaurant, Beauregard’s on the Beach, that is scheduled to open this fall. Power has been restored to the island and all shops, activities and restaurants in Christiansted are open and back on their regular schedules. There are even some new merchants for you to enjoy! Buck Island is open for snorkeling, all popular hiking trails have been cleared and there are new tour offerings that the concierge can share with you. Estate Whim Plantation Museum, the Botanical Gardens, the Cruzan Rum distillery and Captain Morgan Visitor Center are open for tours. We invite you to view live videos and pictures from the property post-Maria on our Facebook or Instagram pages. Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions!
