The place is spectacular. The villas are incredible. The infinity pool is magnificent. The setting could not be better. The issue is the restaurants, the prices and the food. Unbelievable. You are in the middle of nowhere. To get to a local restaurant is almost impossible. They know that and they certainly take advantage of you by gouging you. The food is average and the prices are outrageous. I don't have any issue paying a lot for a good meal. I do have an issue paying $50.00 to $60.00 for an average glass of wine. Or paying a fortune for an average meal. There is nothing you can do. You are trapped. You just need to understand that this is the price of the experience. Stay a night or two for the experience and then head to The Shore Club.

Terrible service. I made lunch reservations for our family and friends which included 8 children. The table was not ready, the waiter seemed annoyed that he had to serve us. The server brought the wrong wine twice to our guests. The worst was there was a clump of hair like foreign material in my French fries. When I showed the new waitress, she said it was just the plastic used to clean the potatoes and to not worry. Gross. We visit providenciales twice a year and make an effort to have lunch here. This was the worst service ever. I called to voice my concerns to Franc (a manager), she said she would look into my experience and call me back. She did not call me back! I sent a follow up email and was ignored. This place is overrated and does not cater to people with children. I was very disappointed with my experience. Dr. Kathryn Finlayson

On a recommendation from a local resident of being the best sunset in all the islands, and expensive cuisine. The four of us (foodies) from Colorado & California decided to try and went in with high expectations. The drive to the resort, undesirable, perhaps we should have chartered a yaught!..once we arrived, the entrance was spectacular. Service was as expected, exceptional. The wine/cocktail menu nice, and offered great local special drinks. We ordered the following: * Tuna appetiser, nothing unique, flavor bland. *Beet salad: Awesome! * Surf & Turf (lobster some filet): lobster was rubbery, the steak was 1/8th inch thick, and perfectly round, no flavor, and they served 2 tortalinis stuffed with something I couldn't identify. To say the least I was very disappointed for an 85.00 entree. * Mango salad: very good taste, but where was the mango? * Special dietary request (vegan, gluten free, no soy or corn) they accommodated that request with a delicious meal, to include truffle mashed potatoes, a asparagus, and. Overall this was our least favorite place to eat, compared to infinity, Coco bistro, coyaba Resturant..

Susnet in the bar is unbelievable, its a stunning view, words cannot describe. We spend some time in the beach, it is a postcard place, turquoise water with several contrasts, we could snorkel from shore and saw rays and several kind of fishes. The service in the beach was fantastic, the staff treated us really well, was an outstanding service! Amazing experience!

We wended up here after a trip to Malcolm’s road where the barrel reef is being created (very rough road, jeep is best or you can park and walk down). Our lunch at the Beach Bar was really overpriced and not super tasty. I had the fish of the day, mahi mahi with a few small stalks of romaine. ($35) the fish serving size was probably 1.5” x 3”, It was a tiny piece and not well seasoned but rather a little fishy. I wish I had taken a photo. I can’t recommend eating here, unless you just need food and want to enjoy the view.

Honestly I would go for a drink but wouldn’t spend the money for dinner. So many better restaurants for the money

Is this resort all inclusive?
There may be certain limited dining choices as part of a special getaway package but Amanyara is definitely not an "all inclusive resort". This is a good thing and in no way should be compared to the other "all inclusive places". This is a special place and the food is fantastic.

I believe they had some superficial damage that has been corrected.

Dear 165vacationmom123, many thanks for your question about Amanyara. The weather in July is wonderful. The maximum daytime temperature is 90⁰F / 32⁰C, the ocean is warm and calm – perfect for boating and scuba diving. The sun is hot, the beaches are usually quieter and the southeasterly trade winds make conditions for wind sports such as kiteboarding, windsurfing and sailing perfect. The main, 50 metre swimming pool is for all guests to enjoy though several of the Amanyara suites and villas have private pools attached. We look forward to welcoming you to Amanyara in the future.
