Bogles Round House Cottages & Restaurant, situated in the quiet village of Bogles, on Carriacou. All our cottages are self contained, have A/C and are just 60ft from the beach. On site (in the Round House itself) is our restaurant. Come and enjoy great hospitality & food in a truly unique setting.

Bogles is a few miles north of Hillsborough. It is served by number 10, and 11 bus. 10 goes directly to Hillsborough if you take the bus going south, for 3ECD per person.
The Round House has three cottage rooms adjacent to the restaurant, for rent. The largest sits above the owners house and commands a fine view from the balcony. Plum is adjacent and Mango has two singles, and is closest to the sea.
Rooms come with breakfast, but the restaurant only serves outsiders evening meals. Booking is advisable, food is amongst the top half dozen decent restaurants across the island. Good fresh food menus change frequently, and theme nights are popular
Of the three cottages, and we stayed in Plum, a double with ensuite bathroom, toilet, small kitchen with gas hob and oven, sink and fridge, kettle toaster, plus a seating area on a veranda overlooking the garden and sea.
Carriacou does not have the water Grenada benefits from high rainfall and mountains. So this means water is either from rain water collection and or desalinized water is bought in.
The bed room, kitchen and balcony has ten three pin sockets, so no converters required for UK travellers. Air conditioning in the room plus netted windows in the bedroom, and a fan.
Cleaner comes daily, but we would have preferred our own brush to be a bit more self sufficient.
The gardens have a range of flowers and attract butterflies, black greckles, and hummingbirds, small green and blue lizards. Brown pelicans can been seen diving for fish. The paths through the woods often have goats grazing, and the odd cattle, but they are all well mannered and keep out of your way.
Locals have pet dogs, most are lab crosses, small friendly dogs that sleep most of the time, again they do not bother anyone.
Chickens also roam freely, in the neighbours gardens, as do many goats eating grass, but they are fenced off from Bogles gardens.

We stayed at Bogle’s Roundhouse for a week in July and we enjoyed every minute! The cottage was very clean, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, the beds were comfy, and the wifi connection was fast and uninterrupted—what more can you ask? But the icing on the cake was Roxanne’s culinary skills! The menu is varied enough that even if you eat there every day, the menu never gets boring. Some of our favourite dishes were callaloo soup, pumpkin soup, crispy shrimp tempura, grilled shrimp, seafood chowder, pan roasted chicken, chicken tikka, grilled fish with an Asian sauce, and grilled barracuda and, for dessert, lime tart, chocolate fondant and home made caramel and salt ice cream… Roxanne has a nice selection of wines at a very reasonable price… this is our second stay at Bogles, but not our last. Highly recommended!

If your looking for peace and tranquility this is the place to be. Grounds overlooking the sea and a private beach (Rocky probably not safe to swim from). Location is far from Nightlife and busses very infrequent so hire a car if possible. Lovely quaint accommodation above basic beautiful scenery lovely individual outside kitchens. Daily cleaned room. Food generous and tasty. Ice cream a must recommending the cinnamon. Staff very helpful and like many experienced on the island are happy to help with anything needed generosity is an understatement. Thank you for a beautiful experience. David Baxter and Colette

I ate several times at Bogles Round House Restaurant during my visit to Carriacou and was never disappointed. The ribs were succulent. I loved the string sweet potato she puts on the fish and shrimp. Her salads are delicious with touches of mango. The callaloo soup was creamy and so tasty. The coconut crusted shrimp was just perfect with the dipping sauce. Oh...and the homemade bread...just delicious. Once in Carriacou you must eat here at least once. The restaurant is cute and really unique. The prices are more than reasonable and the owner and staff are so absolutely friendly but professional.

We had a wonderful three night stay at this gorgeous little place. We walked or minibused it everywhere. Bogles is totally perfect for complete relaxation. We were sad to miss Roxanne’s cooking as the restaurant isn’t open Sunday to Wednesday so we’ll have to come back 🙂

Wow this certainly didn’t disappoint. From cocktails outside overlooking the ocean, to the fresh bread and amazing starters and mains, Bogels was a first class meal. We were even thinking of renting a cottage there next year too. Nice and close to town

We really enjoyed our time at Bogles Round House. We stayed in the Mango cottage, which has a nice room with an air conditioner and an outside kitchen and sitting area. The food was amazing! We had great breakfasts and dinners there. Roxanne went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We would certainly stay there again. You should certainly have at least one meal at Bogles Round House!

We had spent over a week on our honeymoon at two other highly recommended places in Grenada when we realized that we needed something "different." Perhaps more seclusion, perhaps just something more unique and beyond the status quo. Since it was low season (September-- by the way, had amazing sunny weather every day, only rained once!) we just hopped on the internet and decided to book a place in Carriacou the following night. Carriacou is a 1.5 hour, pleasant high speed ferry ride from St. George's. That's when we found the Roundhouse. It was simply fabulous. Recently taken over by the owner's daughter Roxanne and her partner Phil, the place was simply an oasis. The Roundhouse is a piece of art in itself, handcrafted by Roxanne's talented family. We stayed in Mango cottage-- simply furnished with lots of Swiss influence (from Roxanne's mum). Impeccably clean, and full of little luxuries like Molton Brown toiletries. The cottage had a beautiful view of the Caribbean, a beautiful garden, and was steps from a gorgeous secluded beach (Sparrow Bay). You can walk to Anse la Roche beach from here, and in my opinion it is the most amazing, secluded beach in the Caribbean. Best of all, we had Roxanne's cooking all to ourselves at night in the restaurant-- everything was amazing an on par with some of the best restaurants we ate at in Grenada. FABULOUS freshly baked bread everyday! Breakfast every morning overlooking the sea! And complete, relaxing, luxurious seclusion. Highly recommend it.

A real gem, the Bogles Round House is THE place to stay in Carriacou (perhaps in all of the region) if you're looking for originality, seclusion and comfort in a natural setting. My husband and I stayed in the Plum cottage, which was absolutely lovely, clean, superbly constructed, and fully stocked with conveniences. The location was great - a few steps from a secluded beach (that we had entirely to ourselves whenever we were there), a walkable distance from the main town of Hillsborough, and a walkable distance in the opposite direction to beautiful Anse La Roche beach where we did some great snorkeling and hiking. To top everything off, it turns out the hostess, Roxanne, is a spectacular chef in her own right - so the Round House is also THE restaurant to dine at on the island! Host and hostess Phil and Roxanne offered us all the personal attention we needed and went out of their way several times to make sure we were taken care of. Easy living, pleasant surprises, altogether a spectacular time.

My wife and I wanted a small ,quiet, friendly, get away from it all place to stay on Carriacou. We secretly wanted a little hideaway with great service , no pressures, excellent food and service, the sort of place where you can do what you like when you like, eat very well and have the sort of service you normally dream of. OK so dream on I hear you saying, well ,we found it. I have to admit that part of me wants to keep quiet about the Round House but Phil & Roxanne deserve some praise. It is without question the best place to stay on the Island, if you think it sounds like the place for you then it most definately is !! We loved it,we have visited many other tropical hideaways and this is without doubt the best .
