We first stayed here in 2018 and it was very pleasant and convenient for a 6 night stay.
Arrived two weeks ago and was very disappointed:
1) The front door was broken - no security - one morning a random cab driver came in at 5am to wake someone up who had booked him to take them to the Osprey which is now based in Harvey Vale. He was shouting in the corridor for the person, as he did not know which room they were in. Absolutely appalling that anyone could walk in.
2) No wi-fi
3) No television (hooked up to wi-fi)
The rooms are very clean - it's looked after by a lovely woman call Gracie, who keeps it ship shape!
We decided to leave after 4 nights as I needed wi-fi due to work (this is the main reason we booked the Townhouse). I asked Osprey (who own it) for a refund and never received a reply. They have the cheek to show it on their (scared for your life) boat that takes you from Grenada to Carriacou and back. They make it look like a 5* hotel.
I would not recommend staying here - you have to pay in advance on arrival (in cash) and you literally have no chance of ever getting a penny back. They must have known that the services were not working, quite deceitful.
We have family in Carriacou and know of a lot of people who ask for accommodation. I have recommended it in the past, but this time it was dreadful. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was quite impressed with the room and in particular the service and attention I got while staying at The Town House in Hillsborough, Carriacou. The room was kept meticulously clean every day, and the Housekeeper/ Manager was very alert to my needs; and helpful, always ready to offer advice and to find a solution to any problem I had whether on or off the property. I highly commend her for her love of her job.
The environs was very noisy a couple of nights, which affected my need to work quietly, perhaps because it was a week before Carnival. But I will definitely stay at the Town House again. I like to know that where I stay, the workers care about me, my concerns and interests.
