We had dinner here and it was great. Spiny lobster and rack of lamb. Food was amazing and service was great as well. On a different day, we stopped here to tour and the grounds are amazing. Even if you don't eat, you have to stop by to see this. Just great little areas to read, drink, relax, etc.
We had reserved a room for our wedding night months in advance using Golden Rock's website. The hotel sent us a confirmation code and took payment for half of the room rate. When we arrived in Nevis and inquired as to when we could check in, Golden Rock informed us that they didn't have a reservation for us. Needless to say, this caused a tremendous amount of stress to both the groom and I. We were left in the lurch, searching for a hotel room for our wedding night the day before our wedding. If you book here, be sure to verify with a live person that you indeed do have a reservation. When we asked what happened to our reservation, we were told that their system went down and the Sugar Mill, which was the room we booked, had been booked for a month. Very disappointed in Golden Rock and their lack of customer service!…
I was visiting family on Nevis and I had my final breakfast here , the staff were super friendly and the breakfast choice was excellent, the fruit salad was delicious as were the eggs Benedict, hope to come back when I visit in January 2023
I have just returned from a week at Golden Rock Inn and am already planning a return trip! The setting of the hotel is like nothing I've seen before - secluded and peaceful with the most beautiful and extensive grounds. We had a garden tour with gardener Rohan which was very enjoyable and informative. We stayed in a Hillside room which was extremely comfortable and clean with a private terrace to enjoy morning tea. The freshwater pool was lovely and we barely encountered another person around it whenever we were lounging there. The restaurant was amazing with views over the ponds and out towards the sea and food delicious - highly recommend the breakfasts and the famous lobster sandwich as well as the best cheesecake we have ever eaten! Sarah-Ann the operations manager was extremely helpful and hard working ensuring our stay was easy. All the staff were attentive and friendly. Golden rock is nestled in the side of the volcano and we hired a car for a few days which made getting around very easy and enjoyable. Nevis is an absolutely beautiful island and we can't wait to return!…
Golden Rock Inn is an incredibly beautiful hotel amongst a private tropical oasis. If you’d like privacy, an authentic Nevisian setting, and true escapism, book a stay here. Having stayed at numerous luxury hotels around the world, Golden Rock Inn has something very special here. Villas are well appointed, grounds are impeccably maintained, pool large, and the food here is 10/10. Staff are also very lovely, and the new GM was a pleasure to meet. The Inn is close to the amenities in Charlestown but nestled far enough into the mountainside to make you feel like you’ve got the whole place to yourself. I’d recommend for a romantic couples hideaway stay off the beaten track.
We booked a weekend getaway at Golden Rock and it was such amazing experience. If you love boutique properties then you can't miss on this one! One of the most beautiful boutique properties in Nevis! It was such an incredible experience to enjoy drinks and dinner inside hundreds of years old restored sugar mill. Their 40+ acre green luscious tropical gardens are perfect for morning exploration and their restaurant is perfect for date nights and the food is to die for! The service is superb and staff is friendly. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Antonia and Andrei and they made sure we were well taken care off. I can’t wait to go back and unwind at this beautiful cozy property again!
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at Golden Rock resort and having stayed at many 5 star resorts around the world , this ranks with the best. Sarah-Anne who welcomed us and the manager Antonia made us feel right at home at what is one of the most beautiful natural settings for a hotel in the Caribbean .So peaceful and serene. The restaurant is 5 star and the service superb. The rack of lamb by chef Raul is to die for, so delicious. And their lobster sandwich for lunch , amazing. We for sure will be coming back to Golden Rock for a longer stay next time.
Great Hotel and one of the best restaurant in town. Food is reallly the best. Good variety and excellent service. Cozy rooms along side of the mountain receiving the nevis breeze all the time. Staff are owesome. This is a must.
The Golden Rock Inn is a destination unto itself, with an historical setting surrounded by beautiful botanical gardens. We stayed in Paradise Cottage, which was private and roomy and had a huge deck. The room has screens (with shutters) on 4 sides, so there is a wonderful airflow through the room. Service is excellent, and we really appreciated receiving ice at turn-down service. There is a full tray of coffee, teas, fruits, and cookies provided in the room. Laundry service is included, as well as a taxi pick up at the airport in St Kitts. A wonderful breakfast, served on the main patio, is included as well. And, robes are provided. We also had a great tour of the surrounding botanical gardens by the Head Gardener. There is a nice pool with good views as well. Staying at the Inn really "made" the trip for us.…
Beautiful setting. The grounds are well maintained surrounding this old sugar cane plantation. Very kind and knowledgeable waitress. A bit expensive but the food is delicious. Absolutely wonderful experience. Definitely worth the drive.
