Perfect location! It’s very close to Grand Anse and also not far from St. George’s. Phenomenal sunsets ! The apartments have a beautiful view, you can watch incredible sunsets from the balconies of the apartments. You will sleep in cotton sheets and very comfortable pillows, also the towels are quality cotton. The accommodations are very clean and the well kept garden is an oasis of wonderful nature. The atmosphere at the Caribbean Cottage Club is very relaxing and positive. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

Caribbean Cottage Club is a group of newly-built cottages (opened 9/03) between St. Georges and Grand Anse Beach. They are a 2-minute walk off the main road, which gets you away from traffic noise and pollution while making it easy to get a minibus or taxi. The cottages are nicely designed in tropical hardwoods, simply but tastefully furnished, have full kitchens (no oven), are spacious, and have nice balconies overlooking the Caribbean and a nice garden below. They are very clean and well maintained. The manager, Vittoria, and her husband, Tom, are very friendly and helpful. Tom gives very informative and personal tours of the island, and Vittoria sometimes cooks Italian meals which are open to her guests. All in all this is a personal, not an anonymous, place. It is about a 20-minute walk along the road to the beach or a 3-minute bus ride, and a bit farther to St. Georges. It is not in easy walking distance of restaurants, and the minibuses stop running in the evening. Rather than pay the rather high taxi fares, we cooked simple meals there. Because it is new and not widely reviewed yet, the prices are special for the first year, and include the usual 10% service fee, which makes them a bargain.

We spent 2 weeks at the Caribbean Cottage Club visiting Grenada on a budget. The accommodation is excellent value for money, and is located in a suburb of St Georges, so you are not stuck in the middle of a resort and get to see some of real life Grenada going on around you.

We had a small one-bed chalet, which was more than adequate for us. It had sufficient cooking facilities, big fridge, big bed with mosquito net (essential!) and its own shower room. The best thing about the room was the large balcony across the front, complete with hammock, where we could sit and gaze at the sea.

Our room was cleaned everyday, and was really well maintained. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful, and there is someone there all night, so it's secure.

The cottage club may not suit everyone - it can be noisy, especially at night, as the local dogs bark, a lot. It's location was perfect for us, but it is a 20 minute walk to Grande Anse beach, or into St Georges, along a busy road. However, a bus passes every couple of minutes so you can always flag one down.

Overall, great value accommodation, perfect for what we were looking for.

So upsetting! Tried to contact owner in USA but no response from her. The apartment assigned to us was given to another couple. We stayed in the last cottage without a view. The approach to it was dark. The filth in the rooms accessible was piled. We were told there were long term residents before us. No one thought to professionally clean it? The bedding had holes in, even the spare bedding was rank, beasts were trapped in netting over bed, washroom needed cleaning, kitchen was encrusted with grease, dirt and smelt! Surprised it was not checked before we occupied! A boisterous dog was staying and with no leash! Plumbers booked to come in same day we're leaving so had to exit early.
Would I recommend this as a destination? NOPE... if rented in the conditions we stayed in... limited to 10 pics but these should provide an idea! Otherwise, though up a small hill, could imagine it have been a lovely stay if the building was cared for!

The owner, Karina, sent a taxi driver to pick me up at the airport because I had a 10:20pm arrival time. It's always great to see someone holding your name on a clipboard after a long flight. The taxi ride cost 15 USD. I enjoyed sleeping under the mosquito net. Looking up in the morning reminded me of the norther lights. I only killed a four mosquitoes, so they were not a problem, and the building had screens. Everything was clean, I did not cook any food, but there was a kitchen. I'm looking forward to staying at Caribbean Cottage Club again. I love the fact that for about 1 USD, you can walk 100 yards and pick up a van/bus packed with locals and go just about anywhere.

If you are looking for an amazing deal and comfortable self-contained accommodations in the Grand Anse/St. George’s area of Grenada check out Caribbean Cottage Club!
For months, my best friend and I had been emailing back and forth looking for an economical place to stay in Grenada, W.I. Then we found the Caribbean Cottage Club on-line.
They are in a wonderful location for accessing both Grande Anse beach and the capital city of St. George’s. We were very comfortable and happy with the accommodations. The owner Karina has worked at providing suitable self-efficient cottages at a reasonable price. We felt safe in the fenced and gated complex with a security guard, gardener, maintenance person and even maid service. All the staff was helpful.
It was an enjoyable first time experience being in this type of unique small establishment of seven rentals.
We found ourselves sitting on the deck of the cottage drinking coffee the first morning after we arrived savouring the reality of the jewel we had found. We went grocery shopping that day and then were all pitching in preparing meals in the generously sized kitchen.
Ishon, the security guard was always there to help make our stay the best it could be. He was amazing. He is a great ambassador for the cottages and the island.

We cannot say anything negative about these cabins “Caribbean Cottage Club” buried in the midst of St. George’s, Grenada. If you want a nice place to stay at a reasonable price and in a convenient location to enjoy the hospitality of Grenada’s Capital City and Grand Anse beach area this is it.
We found wonderful restaurants on the beach and in the capital with great food at reasonable prices.
Going for an adventure on the Carib Cats with snorkeling at the underwater sculptures included, arranged by Karina was also an amazing experience at a reasonable price. The cost was $55.00 American for half a day and well worth it. Maurice and Dennis were the best.
We trekked up to Concord Falls and swam beneath them. This is another must do. The only cost is getting you there. You don’t have to take a guide to the upper falls but it is well worth it just to listen to all he tells you about the native plants, flowers and area’s history. Sandy didn’t ask for a certain price, he just said pay him what we think it was worth when we get back. He is very knowledgeable.
We rented a car but if you are not used to driving on the left-hand side of the road and not used to navigating narrow windy roads with vehicles parked everywhere on them plus roundabouts and one way roads then I would not recommend renting a vehicle. Hire a taxi driver and let them take you where you want to go. Prices vary quite a bit depending on each driver. They set their own prices so check out a few different ones.
We kept repeating “Grenada is the next best thing to paradise!
We will be back, you can count on it!! We were two couples that are friends. Stayed Jan 25 to Feb 6, 2012. Independance Day is Feb 7th so we missed it but want to be there for it next time.

Good points: Cottages are beautiful and have a wonderful view. Beds are comfortable and refrigerators work well.
Difficult things: The web site says that they are 2 minutes walk to the beach- it is a good 20 minutes on a busy road and a hard walk back up the hill to come home.
Dogs and chickens making noise ALL night.
No screens on the windows. It gets dark at 6:30 pm, can't have the lights on or it will attract a lot of bugs. We all came home COVERED with little red bug bites.
THe housekeeper came 4 out of the 7 days we were there.
The kitchens are not really equipted for much more than storing cold drinks. THere is not a microwave or much else for cooking.
The TV quit working 1/2 was through the week- it wasn't fixed. Our shower heater quit, the owner said that was "impossible" and did not come look at it so we had 3 days of cold showers.
The restaurant that is "on the property" is actually 3 feet from the cottage, so we heard kitchen and restaunt noise until late each night, along with all the smells.
This was a BIG dissappointment and really ruined our trip.

We stayed at the Caribbean Cottage Club for 5 days in April for our anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. Vittoria takes good care of you and helps with any details you've forgotten. The rooms are spotless and have a lovely porch to sit and enjoy the garden and seaview. One thing you cannot miss if you have the chance,is a meal cooked by Vittoria and her husband. You dine on their open veranda under twinkling lights and the 4 course meal is fantastic. and her husband makes a great rum punch! She cooks only for guests and friends and it was a wonderful evening. We were so stuffed ,we could hardly drag ourselves back to our own porch. I'd highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed staying here so much last year that we returned for another 2 week stay. This is such a relaxing place and excellent value for money.

We stayed again in a small one bedroomed cottage with kitchen. Mosquito net is essential here as the garden setting and rain (this year) encourages them.

The room had a large wooden balcony with view of garden and sea. Lovely place to sit both day and night. The garden is lit up at night and the balcony makes an incredible setting to eat, with the banana and palm trees lit up and the boats twinkling at sea. Also the noise from the cicadas is very loud and adds to the atmosphere. No restaurant came close!

Only downside to staying here is noisy dogs at night.

We will return next year, hopefully.

We stayed here in July 2014. My wife and I and a friend, easy to find and overlooking the carribean. We only holiday in Grenada ever since we were married there twenty years ago, and always stay local away from the big hotels, so my review is based on this and not a $200 a night hotel!

We had two bedrooms with a/c, large sitting and kitchen area and the balcony overlooking the sea.

Karina the owner met us on arrival and popped in to make sure all was OK, when we did have any problem it was delt with, the fridge decided to be unhelpful one day, another fridge was put in the kitchen and the next day it was repaired, and that was the way of things, need gas? 30 minutes later it was there (only for our friends boiled egg for breakfast)

If you know the Caribbean then you will also know that dogs bark, cockerels crow and the birds go mad at six until you show your face on the balcony, then having done there duty they pop over to another house and do the same, but only for the first few days and by then you just sleep.

So yes we will be back in 2016 without a thought, everyone that works there or who pop in are great people.

I will add that if you want five star hotel like villa or have never stayed in the carribean before think twice, or if like someone said (how can you call a kitchen fully fitted without a coffee maker) then do us all a favour and go to a hotel.
