Its inspired design combines the charm of a Spanish colonial village with the laid-back sensuality of the Caribbean and the stylish sophistication of streamlined, modern design accents. Bougainvillea-lined pathways lead guests through the resort grounds to 176 expansive, private suites housed in replicas of a tower, colonial buildings and fortress. Within the resort are 5 exceptional restaurants, 5 bars, an elegant casino, a half-mile private beach with sugar-white sand, and meeting space for up to 500 guests, while just minutes away lie all the world-class recreational appeals of Cap Cana.

Sanctuary Cap Cana completed some major renovations over the summer, and added a lot of rooms. we had visited twice previously, and were concerned that it might be overcrowded now. I can confirm, though, that it remains the same great relaxing place as before. All restaurants

The Sanctuary Cap Cana is an all-inclusive, adults-only village resort in the Dominican Republic. It has an outstanding Italian restaurant — Capriccio — that really puts this place on the map. The manager Douglas runs a tight ship and is an excellent host. He keeps an eye on

Me and my girlfriend absolutely loved this resort. The staff, the food, the resort, everything was amazing. We stayed in a castle ocean front room for 6 nights and got upgraded the last night to a swim up room which was FANTASTIC. Our butler JT was just incredible and I

We stayed here 01/17 for 10 days and liked it so much we came back. I understood it was taken over by new management and hoped it would be as nice. The improvements made our stay even better. They upgraded us to a luxury villa. Our room was lovely with a hot tub on the balcony.

Hi, we have been several times in September / October and whilst some years we have had wall to wall sunshine with the odd flash shower other years we have had some bad to back wet / dull day but we have still returned chilled out and with a tan Please note it is the hurricane season (1st June to end November) so who know what weather fronts will be around this year. In the past we have had little issue getting a sun lounger either around the pool or on the beach when we have wanted one Really looking forward to get back there again in May and seeing all the changes they have made with the addition of the new new buildings and all the remodelling It is a fabulous property

Hi, we have been several times and have never had any issues. The beaches in the area have sand which is light tan ij colour rather than the white sand you get on Bavaro Beach. However, the beaches in Cap Cana are far more relaxed as on Bavaro Beach you have so many properties so you have a lot of foot traffic and the ocean there has a lot of boat traffic The ocean in the beach cove can sometimes be a little milky on colour as you can have some fine sand suspended in it. I have just sent you a PM with a link to my photo gallery on SlickPic where you will find several albums for the property. We are looking forward to going back again in May and seeing all the changes with the addition of the two new buildings and all the remodelling they have done

We have been several times and would not call it a party resort. Yes they do play music around the main pool but if it gets too loud they normally get complaints for other guests. They do have a foam party once per week. The property has many repeat guests like ourselves who love the laid back, upmarket feel the property has. If you are looking for a party resort check out the likes of Breathless

Yes jeans are OK but may be a little warm to wear in the heat and humidity. Golf shirts / tops are OK. All shirts need to have sleeves and collars

They do have a wide range of drinks available and we have never had any issues. Are there any particular brands you are interested in?
