It has been 26 years since we were last in Aruba. We had a wonderful time. The staff at the Hyatt Regency are exceptional and the food/accommodations were great. One of the great things about Aruba is the weather is almost always guaranteed to be perfect. We will definitely

Great hotel in the perfect location. Walkable to restaurants & shopping.Service was excellent. Didnt feel the pool/beach chair stress that we normally do-casino was terrific(although smokey). Food was good. Very pleasant staff. Hotel accommodations were nice. Beach was awesome.

I was excited to stay at the Hyatt Aruba during the first week of March for our one year wedding anniversary. Sadly, this resort did not live up to my expectations We arrived at 2:30 and was told our room was not ready so we opted to get some lunch. Around 3:40, our room still

Slightly better view(deluxe) but the room itself is the same. Would not pay if the price difference is significant.

is the Hyatt all inclusive?
No however, I would recommend eating of property. There are many great restaurants close to the hotel. The hotel is over priced on their food. If you do club access they do serve nice selections during the day where a light dinner is enough.

We were told that palapa’s were going to be removed as per the governments order. Not sure if this is true and no one was giving a straight answer. Seeing how every hotel has these it would be a major issue if they were to be removed. The system of reserving and prepaying for them is also something that is up for debate. But it seems to be a major issue when the dates coincide with schools being off. In any case my apologies that I couldn’t give you a more definitive answer.

Honestly, we have stayed at the Hyatt several times. Some years we go through the whole “palapa” rental process, and other years we don’t. Frankly, we go back and forth between pool time and beach and we never have a problem, and I’m the biggest sun worshipper there is! I wouldn’t spend the $. We didn’t rent a palapa when we were there the last week of January and we had no issues. Worse comes to worse, you get there and the resort is packed, make a reservation.

This hotel is not an all inclusive. I wouldn't go to the restaurants on property they were expensive. Pay for Club Access and you can go in all day for snacks, food and beverages.
