We loved the Gelato in the lobby and visited every night. The hotel is lucky to have Lynn and Nora who are fabulous employees. They are so friendly and really care about the customer. The gelato is delicious and they take pride in working there. They know a lot about the flavors

Beautiful hotel and friendly employees (especially on the beach) who do their best to make your vacation pleasant and special. BUT recently they have instituted a new palapa reservation policy that is app based and it just doesn't work. No one likes it- it was the topic of many

Dear MHB214 - Thank you for the review. We appreciate your compliments about the resort and the excellent staff service. Thank you for the feedback about the new palapa reservation system . Please allow me to apologize for the experience and any inconvenience caused. I will certainly circle back to the leaders and we will take a look at this again. This stay was a rewards trip for work, so we were with a large group that took care of reservations and check in/out. We had to pass by the Casino to get to our first floor room, it was outside of the "adult, quiet pool". I'm not a smoker or gambler, so that was kind of a turn

Dear miecanada - Thank you for this great review. I am very happy to know that your family enjoyed the resort and the kids were excited as well. Thank you for the positive comments for Mergy. Our Fish Tacos is one of the items on the menu which is mostly sought for. We look forward to welcoming your family back. Warm Regards, Leslie Prea - Hotel Manager

what is the dress code
Casual! Shorts and sports shirt or golf shirt for men seems to be ok in all restaurants. Maybe nightclubs or the highest end restaurants may require more. A Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is located in the Marriott. We did not dine there but I saw lots of folks there and everyone looked pretty casual. Occasionally you would see a gentleman in a light weight sport coat. For women, casual sun dresses. Casual slacks and tops seemed to be the rule. Keep in min that there is a constant 15-20 MPH breeze so a light weight sweater can come in handy during the evening.

How much is the current resort fee?
Hi, I didn't pay a resort fee, just the hotel fee, and I brought singles and fives for tips.

Can you use the Ritz Carlton facilities pool etc. if you’re staying at the Marriott next-door
Im not positive of the answer either. You should call and ask. Im sure you could use the main pool, because there is no gate around it. It’s open access. The adult pool at the stellaris requires key card entry.
