Dear Gtownpaul, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I am pleased that overall your stay was such a positive one. We do try very hard at the Parkway to ensure that all guests that choose to visit us have a positive experience and lovely comments such as yours are a great testament to what we achieve here. We did have a few issues with regards to the cross trainers and running machines that you have mentioned and I do apologise for this. I am pleased to say that they are now all up and running once again. The timing of these faults over the festive period did mean that due to specialist engineer availability there was a longer than usual period that these machines were out of use for Health & Safety reasons. I do hope that you choose the Parkway once again so as we can further build on your experience. Kind regards Andrew Herron Operations Manager

On walking through the doors you are immediately met with a wonderful ambiance and a roaring fire. Check in was smooth. Our room was on the ground floor - it was spotlessly clean, extremely well furnished to a very high standard with every amenity you could need (except a

Dear Val G, Thank you so much for taking the time to post such an amazing review of our hotel. We are truly delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you found our team of staff to be second to none. We have extremely friendly and hard working staff here at the Parkway and we are so pleased that came across during your stay. Thank you for mentioning the delicious food in our restaurant and lounge bar, I can't manage the full afternoon tea either and have to opt for the cream tea! The afternoon tea menu will change shortly so maybe you will manage it next time you visit. We look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel very soon (hopefully we will win the rugby again!) Best wishes Kerry Jennings General Manager

Dear traveldoc40, Thank you for taking the time to share your review of our hotel. We do try extremely hard at the Parkway Hotel to ensure each of our valued guests are well looked after and I am glad to learn that you found our team to be friendly during your stay. We did experience a short problem with the hot water getting to your room and this was rectified as soon as we were made aware of the issue. I am pleased that you were then able to enjoy all of the facilities that we have to offer. The breakfast that we provide at the hotel is extremely popular with all of our residents and many non residents that come to visit us to enjoy the wide selection that we have on offer. Once again thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and we look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind regards Andrew Herron Operations Manager

Had Sunday lunch today at the Parkway carvery. Elegant, crisp surroundings, lovely linen cloths and napkins, friendly and efficient service and very nicely cooked food. A little expensive, but I guess we were paying for the very pleasant ambience.

Dear Brian F, Thank you so much for your kind comments with regards to your recent visit to us and our famous Sunday carvery. We do try extremely hard to ensure that all of our guests experience an enjoyable time when visiting us and I am glad that this was the case during your time with us. Our 2 AA rosette restaurant is very popular within the locality, especially during the weekend and for Sunday lunch. Maybe during your next visit we can entice you with something from our new a la carte menu that is served in the restaurant Monday evenings through to Saturday evenings I do hope that we are able to welcome you back to the hotel in the near future. They certainly have a "V" option or several on the menu. As to the wheat thing. It may be best to phone and ask the hotel, Things like pasta etc have wheat in so that's a little awkward.
