We went to this great hotel 5/10 for 10 days , and can honestly say we loved it from the minute we stepped through the doors in reception, we were greeted by friendly faces , nothing was to much trouble to all staff we dealt with . Our room in the hotel was great and big , the view was breathtaking, room was cleaned thoroughly every day and fresh bedding, towels and fridge restocked all free of charge . Cleaner was a lovely lady and very respectful. It was our wedding anniversary while there 43years , management put a bottle of wine and lots of fruit in the room and the maid made our bed special with flowers also .Avery special touch . Grounds were very clean and always seen workers cleaning throughout the day . Food was plentiful, a lot wasn’t the usual English food , but hey we were in Turkey and always found something to eat . Snack bar was lovely chicken , wraps , chips , pizzas made to order , burgers.
Lots of sun beds even on beach and jetty’s. Mel the English rep for the hotel was great always a smiling happy girl an asset to the hotel . Entertainment was ok , perhaps but more English music and live acts go down well .
We are definitely going back next year , hopefully twice , thank you to all staff and management for a wonderful holiday.

We have stayed here 1 week. Our holiday has been amazing. Accommodation was clean. Stunning views across the sea. There is the aqua park, water sports, and entertainment. We have relaxed around the pool. Food has been lovely and lots of it. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

We arrived just before midnight to this hotel, a family of 2 adults and one child. Check in was extremely quick and easy. The bell boy took us to our room and explained all the facilities to us and told us where the night time bar and snack bar were ( you can eat and drink here 24 hrs a day if you wish ). We thought we were going to be in a village room, but were actually put in the main building. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The cleaner of our room was excellent ( we definitely noticed the difference when she had her day off! ).

In the main restaurant at certain times was very busy, but the supervisor / restaurant manager always found a table for us. We were really well looked after and after our 1st evening meal when told by bar staff that it was table service always had drinks brought to our table and were there before we sat down with soup or salad, then they were replenished throughout our meal if required. (We did generally sit in the same area daily, so the staff generally knew our requirements). The menu is very similar to a lot of all inc, we've been to, some things seem to be strange to an English palette, but there is always something tasty to eat. The snack bar offers the same evey day, which is fine.

The hotel is not 5* and not advertised to be, but the service we got from every area of the hotel we used, definitely was.

We spent time at the beach and water park, but mainly at the main pool. We met some lovely people and had a fabulous week away.

We arrived 9th oct 2023. Given a apartment with a sea view room 3106 . The room is very spacious for a couple. Late night bar is 24 hours. Food is for the German/Russian guests as food is based on them chips for breakfast and beans.. eggs are done poached on toast with a slice of ham and cheese, boiled or occasionally fried. No traditional bacon or sausage. for breakfast.
The meals thru the day are very much aimed at the European clientelle.
If you use the Seaview restaurant in the afternoon you can get excellent homemade pizza, fried chichen ,kebab wraps etc. But beware the Russians love to take everything ,put it on their plates and never eat it. Such a waste.the hotel should address this.
Entertainment is subject to weather due to outside arena, but is great when available.
Beach next to hotel has a lovely lagoon with still water and you can wade out quite far from the.beach activities available at a cost.
The staff work extremely hard all thru the day and night.
Overall to get more British clientelle they should cater more food for them as at present food is minimum for English.
Late checkout is €15 per hour from 12 to a maximum of 5 hours so take that on board if you have a late flight.
Altinkum is a short taxi away @ 250TL about £7.30. Loads of shops but barter your heart out. Polo shirts they try selling at £15 but I got for about £6.50. Be prepared to walk away . They will call you back but stick to your guns they will either except or you move on to another shop. The night market is good for clothes but in my opinion avoid the Saturday Market they pester you and won't take no for a answer, also give you mixed sizes ,tie the bag then you find out too late you've been had.
The reason bay has a lovely garden to sit in at night and if your lucky you get to see the resident hedgehogs that pop out.

Overall we had a good stay at Duja.

We had a room in the main building that was a good size for the 3 of us and plenty of storage space. Our son had a chair bed to start with that was broken, requested a replacement which was also broken. A new folding bed was then brought to the room so I can’t fault that when I notified the staff that action was taken.

Room was cleaned daily and fridge re stocked. Clean towels daily but I don’t believe bedding was changed and I did have to ring down for toilet roll.

I found all the staff around the hotel hard working and pleasant.

The main dining hall is huge and very busy. However the food is ok and we found something to eat the nights we stayed in the hotel. We used the Italian A la carte and didn’t think much of the main courses.

The snack bar opened 12-4:30pm and midnight till 7am and served a range of food. Burgers, chips, wraps, fried chicken, pasta, salad and fruit.

The entertainment was where this hotel was let down, maybe one pool game on a morning. Main pool is too deep for kids to join water polo so it’s adults only. The evening entertainment schedule changed frequently and was poor.

If you want a bec round the main pool you will have to be down early. However there are plenty of beds around the hotel as there is the 2 beaches and the jetty.

On our last day we had a late flight and didn’t keep the room on. There is a luggage room and facilities to have a shower and change.

A bit disappointing really as we all paÿ lots of money to come here and they are already starting to get ready to close!! This should not happen until the last holiday maker goes home. The holiday package said there is different entertainment every night but we only had the d.j and although he was funny and good, every night gets a bit boring so went to town the last night. They started running out of drinks and not replacing them ie white wine in the entertainment bar and pineapple juice in Raays bar. The swimming pools are spotless but ice freezing which is probably down to the weather. The main restaurant is ok! The don't really cater much for the English so be aware if fussy children.
This all sounds negative but I think this is down to our holiday timing but should not be any different fŕom the summer!! Lots of people or not, we deserve the same 5* holiday that we paid for.
Again at the time we went there is no way I would say it was a 5* or 4*! 3* at the most!! If we went a few weeks earlier this review would of no doubt been totally different, as the hotel is spotless the maids do a fantasic job everyday in your rooms and we met some lovely people here.

Booked as a last minute week away in August 2023 for a family of four. Transfer by coach was around 1 hour and 15 mins. Village rooms were on the small side for us,
but modern and overall clean.

We enjoyed our holiday, but there were were a few niggles that stopped this from being a great holiday for us.

The weather was fantastic and mostly, the air con was sufficient.

The smaller pools around the village rooms were relaxing and very much appreciated.

The drinks were good, branded soft drinks, Efes lager around the resort (Budweiser in the lobby bar) Wine all okay and the cocktails and spirits were fine. Bottled water available. Starbucks was great, although busy at times.

The food was edible, but the dining area was very busy and other guests would walk straight into you!

Most of the staff were friendly. The reception staff, guest relations and Jet2 rep were great. There was a mix of nationalities amongst the guests.

Rooms cleaned on most days with fresh towels and bin emptied. Drinks were replenished in the room when required each day. Pool towels are provided.

Hotel shop overpriced. The local supermarket (5 minute walk) is much better and has everything you may need.

Taxi into town was around 200-250 lira. Worth visiting.

There are beautiful views around the hotel. The sea and pier areas are picturesque.

If you have booked (or are thinking of booking) you will have a nice holiday.

Me, my wife and daughter had spend a week(in time of this review we are still here).
As person that loves the Turkish culture and hospitality, I have to admit I am very disappointed of how unfriendly and not willing to help staff members. We booked the so called “special restaurant” Anatoliya” and we had to wait for over 1.5 h to get some sort of starters/little bit of food. Everyone in the restaurant was getting upset and nervous for waiting for so long for the food. Even some people went and complained at reception, as the restaurant manager didn’t do anything to fix the situation. At some point we gave up and just left the restaurant.
Room was good, besides there were a lot of things that needed repairing(small things but annoying). House keeping was not really cleaning. Food in the main restaurant was good and we enjoyed it.
It does need maintenance all around.
The beach is not nice as it barely has any sand and there were a lot of stones.
Evening entertainment was so so… The main entertainer Mustafa, was some times funny but sometimes the things he said and the games he did were not appropriate for children and even offensive.
Anyway. It was ok holiday, but definitely not again in Duja Didim.
The only two people that gave amazing attitude were young girl Ece at reception which had checked us in the night we arrived and the main guy at guest experience.
Other than that, I think the rest is pebbles.

We’ve just returned from a week at the Duja didum, the staff go above and beyond making sure you have a great holiday, the entertainment team were great with my kids and my son really enjoyed going to kids club.

The food wasn’t amazing for us, as we are quite picky eaters, especially with a 1 and 7 year old. Some days were better than others, breakfast wasn’t the best, lunch at the snack bar was brilliant, pizza, chicken wings, chicken donor wraps and burgers, dinner was a hit or a miss but the desserts were always brilliant. The drinks were great, some staff made the cocktails better than others, there was one bar staff that went above and beyond with everyone, I constantly seen him attending to people, taking orders, and bringing them to tables, he came to us several times offering more drinks, milkshakes for kids and nuts for the table. Sometimes he would even bring some new cocktails over to try without even having to ask. I can’t remember the exact spelling of his name, I think his name tag said something like Barracan. He served at the sea bar for the night entertainment and he was amazing. The pools were rather cold this time of year which was expected, small baby pool and a large pool at 150cm, would have been better if there was a pool that you could start at shallow end and walk down to deep. We upgraded to a sea view room in the main building and I do not regret it, the room is huge, amazing views and one of the cleaners went full out one day and decorated our bed beautifully.

I think things could be better signed in the main restaurant as I wasn’t sure what some things were, also better signage at the waffle/ice cream place at sea bar, as we didn’t know any of the flavours or the options which were available.

Also those who are English speaking, may struggle to communicate with some staff and we noticed a lot of staff weren’t the best at English language and a lot of time would have to ask colleagues. Could be a struggle at times.

The Starbucks on site was really good, caramel Frappuccino or the iced pumpkin spice 😍👌🏻

All in all we had a lovely break away! 🩷

We have visited Duja Didim Hotel at the end of May as a family holiday.
Initial impression was very good: when we arrived late around Midnight , we were looked after straight away ( offered a drink & food ) and then taken to our rooms.
There we discovered :

• No bed for our child was ready
• Our fridge was empty
• No WI-FI connection in rooms
• TV volume went only up to 20

During our stay we book 1 boat excursion where again got very disappointed:

• We were not picked up on time but an hour later not by bus but boat people as bus (van) only picked people from next door hotel
• Prices on boat very expensive
• Once trip finished and got told to join group from next door hotel to ours and get a lift with them, the driver never dropped us at hotel but on main road so we had to walk back to hotel
• When complained to TUI Rep never had any response back
• TUI rep did not seem very helpful & was only in the hotel for an hour/day not available most of time

Furthermore what we noted about our stay:
• Very late entertainment for kids and not the best
• Not a lot to do within or outside the hotel
• Staff hardly speaking English
• Very poor selection on all inclusive food/drinks/snacks etc

Hotel itself is very clean , modern and good if you are looking for relaxing at the pool holiday. We would not be going back there.
