My first trip to Bali and I have shortlist a few hotels during my stay. The Nest was my favourite. From the moment I checked in with warm hearted welcoming experienced with surprised tablet type towellet and welcome drinks I have no doubt this is the best experience I ever had, special mention to Shanti who had make my stay a memorable ones. The landscape of this hotel with strategic location overlooking wetlands and sanctuary style living immersed me in a real private, relaxing with birds chirping beautifully landscape with lanterns light hanging around the trees. The Nest was well designed with open concept reception with waterfall sound. The room was very spacious with an equivalent of 2 connected King size into one extra large bed extremity comfortable. The engraving artwork and simplicity in colour combination reflected Tudor yet modern set up with walk in wardrobe and many charging points for tech gadgets. 3 mirrors in-room to make sure you groom yourself to perfection!! The amenities was 5 star rating with thoughtful set up also included the bathrobes. Shower foam and shampoo were aromatherapy’s with rain shower. Spacious bathroom and thoughtful set up. The pool size was average overlooking the unique wetlands at Benoa. Buffet breakfast was great with good choices and unlimited free flow for baristas coffee (order from waiter). My birthday coincided during my stay and thanks for the birthday cake to make my stay extra memorable. The beach is within walking distance with water sports activities offered by private charter. Pepito was within walking distance where I get fresh local fruits such as mangosteen, rambutan, dragon fruits. The croissant at Pepita was one of the best I ever had apart from world famous Lune Croissant in Melbourne. Overall I highly recommend this hotel to all who enjoy a quiet, relaxing and sanctuary holiday.

We had a good time at the Nest Hotel. Shanti, Marta and Ketut were very helpful and did a wonderful job pulling off a surprise for my wife. The room was clean and well maintained. The location is very close to the beach and away from the normal beach hustle. Quiet with a few local shops around the corner from where you could do shop for the basic condiments and drinks and also get the laundry done. Would certainly revisit.

The room is clean and spacious and bed is very big, comparable to a 5-stars hotel. Everything is in good working order and room is fully equipped with all necessary items that you can expected in a good hotel room. Room condition exceed my expectation and value for money. Only setback is the location which is made it difficult to find good eating place outside.

There was a little incident during checkout that one of my colleague supposed to responsible of a single hand towel. we already explained don't have it during check-in. we stay on this hotel with 2 Rooms with 5 Days duration but the complimentary was to arguing a single hand towel. I'm willing to pay the towel but fortunately they skipped the bill. Hospitality was less than standard (security not even give greeting or smiling, the staff was not friendly enough) , the menu of the breakfast was not so many variation and the taste was not so good enough.

We have just spent 6 nights at the Nest and can say the experience was underwhelming. Having stayed at 5 other hotels / villas during our trip to Bali the Nest ranked lowest by miles and we will not be returning (we actually left and stayed elsewhere for 2 of the nights as it was that underwhelming) the only positive about the hotel for us is that you could walk to a lovely beach with numerous beach clubs/restaurants within 10 minutes.
Whilst the staff where so friendly and helpful the hotel smelt of sewage which they tried to cover up by the smell of perfume which was so strong we both felt sick.
The pool on the roof only has 3 double sunlounges so if it’s busy you have no chance of getting a seat and I wouldn’t say it’s a infinity pool as pitched.
Upon arrival we were told the gym would be closed for 2 days however it was closed for 3 (didn’t seem like a lot was done) and they turned off the power during the afternoon for the whole hotel for 3 hours.
We also noticed that they didn’t clean the bathroom in the room well (there was hair which wasn’t ours left on the side of the shower during our whole stay) however they always did a good job of cleaning the room daily.
The breakfast was buffet style and to be fair had some good options (they made eggs and pancakes fresh) which was good quality.
Also the hotel for the first few days was extremely loud with lots of people shouting in the corridor (I think it was taken over by a large group of tourists)
Overall I wouldn’t stay at The Nest again, there are many amazing hotels to choose from nearby so will try one of these when we return.

We spent the first weeks of our honeymoon here and just fell love with everything in here. Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and spacious and breakfast was delicious. Even when my wife was feeling sick at the start of our trip, the staff went above and beyond to make sure she was feeling well. Sadly the restaurant and pool were under renovation at the time of our stay, but we enjoyed our stay so much that we returned here at the end of our honeymoon and luckily the restaurant and pool was open then. The pool area was peaceful and very clean, there was a lot of room to swim in the pool and the sun shined all day on the terrace. The food in the restaurant was very delicious and they also surprised us on breakfast with special requests such as cafe latte and pancakes. What ever we asked was possible for them. Most of all we were amazed how friendly and joyful the staff were. Everytime we went out of our room, there was somebody of the staff greeting us and asking about our day with a big smile and genuine kindness. We felt like VIP:s every day. We found our home away from home in Bali. Even after our trip they checked in on us and asked how we were doing which showed that they really were genuine in their kindness. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone staying in Bali and we definitely will visit here again the next time we are in Bali. The hotel was located next to a water purification plant but we didn't notice it at all, some reviews have complainted about that. Sampai jumpa lagi. Br, Mr. & Mrs. Laine

The staff are number one. The hotel's greatest asset.
They always made me feel welcome and special.
If I ran out of tea bags or coffee, I just phoned reception, and they were delivered to my room within minutes.
I could never fault the staff. They are wonderful

We’ve stayed for 2 nights at The Nest in Nusa Dua. The staff is really polite, friendly and helpful. Always happy to help out if you have questions or need help.
The room was clean, although it had a bit of a funny smell. The water in the shower had a funny smell as well.
The swimming pool is OK for dipping, although is very shallow. Only 6 sun beds though, which is rather limited given the size of the hotel. Quite annoying. You won’t spend a lot of time there if you’re not able to lie or sit down, so definitely won’t spend any money on drinks.
The breakfast buffet offers a big variety of dishes. A first explanation or brief tour by a staff member would’ve been helpful though. Everything looked nice, besides the salad bar. Those vegetables were all dried out and did not look appetising at all.
We’ve tried the Roost restaurant up top. The staff offered a Soffel bug spray, which was very polite and helpful. They have two sorts of menu’s, both of them completely different. Just one all-inclusive drinks menu and one all-inclusive food menu would’ve been easier. One of the menu’s includes a lot of overpriced food to be honest. We’ve ordered 1 burger of that menu, which was OK but cold by the time it was served. We ordered 1 Devil Burger from the regular menu, which was half the price of the other one, and that was good. The fries that came with it were excellent. Really enjoyed those. The cocktails were OK.
The place is quite big and spread out, so if there is only 1 staff taking orders, it might take a while before you are able to order food and drinks. She did a very good job though. Overall, the restaurant staff was very polite and friendly.
Overall good experience! Enjoyed our stay!

Came to stay for work and truly enjoyed the incredibly friendly service by staff from the minute I arrived at the airport (for pick-up service) and stepped foot at the hotel.
All-inclusive services at such an affordable price, topped with the rooftop view and a number of dishes they serve at the Roost Restaurant.
Will certainly return!

If you want the best view in Nusa Dua and authentic Bali culture than the Nest is your spot to stay. It is a 5 minute walk from the beach and the main rd which sports sidewalks as you can connect with local balinese culture or eat at a local warung. The staff here are best of the best, kind, great conversationalist. The beautiful 6th floor resturant and pool is an open concept and I've never seen such roof top architecture. From the room cleaners all the way to the owner the people here at the NEST in nusa dua help enrich your bali experience. Breakfast starts at 7am and is a buffet style and their chefs are very talented. Affordable 4 star hotel, with 5 star staff. I'm coming back. P.S their beds are so big you could park a small car on it.

To be honest the area is not good for shopping. There are no markets nearby, not many shops unless you want a massage. Your best bet would be Seminyak or Legian for shopping etc.
I have called them and got hold of them,
As far as I know it's always open as one simply comes out of the lift on the roof, walks through the covered restaurant area and its there, on the far end of the roof, with no separate door to get in. There is an assistant there sometimes who gives out towels but the sunbeds are left out all the time. There are only about 8 sunbeds though. You can order cocktails to be brought to your sunbed from the bar which is also on the top floor! In fact I think you can swim up to the bar too, but the bar is only open from about lunchtime until the restaurant shuts.
