Because the fan in our room was with dust. The Wi-Fi facility was working without any interruptions, which was so convenient for us to carry on our official work even when we are away from our home country. Housekeeping service was excellent, and we felt like it's our second home away from home. I hope the restaurant will be great too; we didn't use it though.

2 night stopover. Stayed in August, it was particularly hot, so, I was surprised that the rooms I had booked, didn't have air-conditioning! That would require a room upgrade, so an extra 50chf per night!! Per room. Also breakfast was extra 21chf per person per day, for a buffet breakfast, it was definitely not worth that price. Especially as we had stayed at an IBIS budget in Troyes Est, where air-conditioning was standard not an extra cost as well as breakfast was also included in the price, which around the the price of IBIS Zürich Adliswil!!! A ripoff!!.

Dear mariannadarby Thank you for being our guest and for your feedback. We have two different room categories, which are visible on all booking platforms. Our standard rooms without air conditioning, which you booked, and our superior rooms. These were all completely renovated last year and are also equipped with air conditioning and a small fridge. Every guest can decide at the time of booking whether they would like to book the breakfast buffet or do this directly at the hotel. It is also possible to order only a coffee and a croissant in the restaurant in the morning instead of the whole breakfast. For 21.- you will receive a buffet with a selection of different cold and warm dishes, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, homemade Bircher muesli and homemade jam, a selection of juices, various muesli and coffee and tea at your free disposal. The eggs for home-cooking come from the farm in the neighboring community and the honey is also regional, as the beehives are located in the forest behind the house. We can understand that the prices in Switzerland seem high compared to other countries, but our prices correspond to the normal Swiss average. It is therefore difficult to make a comparison between prices in France and Switzerland, as prices in France cannot be compared with those in Switzerland. An affordable bed very close to Zurich. We had a twin room, the beds are very narrow and there is no air conditioning though they had put in a fan to use which helped a little. Due to the extreme heat it was not easy to sleep but the reception staff were welcoming and friendly and it was easy to get around.

Nice clean hotel situated close to Zurich. Perfect for a short stay. Easy access to public transport if you want to visit the city. Very polite staff. As I was by car I the private (free) parking was a big advantage.

Hassle free check-in. We had rooms at the 4th floor, good view. Room is small but clean as is the bedding and bathroom. Comfy enough. The breakfast has a good spread of continental breakfast, good cheese selection and sole farm fresh eggs to poach. €272 per night for two rooms, with breakfast for 5 paxs.

There was no exterior noise from the street even though we were close to a major road.
However, the shower was badly designed and water went all over the floor. I really feel sorry for the staff having to clean the floor in every room.
We were placed at the end of the corridor and we could hear people going up and down the stairs all night so that distracted from the pleasantness of the stay. Ask for a room away from the light and stairs.
After a lot of expensive hotel nights in Switzerland, this was very reasonably priced.

Decent hotel. The room was clean and the front desk was helpful and polite. You need a car as the location is okay, but not walking distance to much. My only complaint (which I have seen pop up in other peoples reviews) is the temperature. There was no A/C.
I understand that Switzerland generally does not get too hot, but it was close to 30 degrees the day we went and therefore the room was quite stuffy, even with fans going. Leaving the windows open was a less desirable option since it is located on a busy/noisy street and led to a few bugs being let in the short period of time we opened the window before going to sleep. Found out at the front desk the following morning that can "upgrade" to a room with A/C but seems unreasonable to charge extra for that.
That being said, I'd stay there again at a different point in the year, where the weather is cooler.

Booked this hotel as I was planning to rent a car, unfortunately plans changed and it ended on a negative way as the hotel is a bit far from city center. Still accesible by train.
Staff: was great, they even gave a present to my son. Very helpful as I was making lots of questions.
Restaurant: I did used for dinner and was OK. Short menu but good.
Room: small as it can be expected from an Ibis, however, room rate was still very highly if you compare to any other country, later I found Switzerland as whole was very expensive. No A/C only fans. I stay one night and I room temperature was above normal. I had not other choice to use the noise fan. I do understand the fact of not having A/C as the country is pretty cold around the year, but this year being hotter and seems is not going to be better, summers may impact room experience as A/C is not avail. No close shops around, so, if you are on a car, great, otherwise be prepared to walk.

Dear Irobles 77 Thank for being our guest and your review. We are happy that you felt well looked after by our staff and that your son was also happy about the surprise. We can understand that you may find it easier to get here by car than by public transport. But you can reach us from the city center within 20 minutes and the bus runs every 15 minutes just opposite the hotel. We don't quite understand that with the shopping possibilities, opposite the hotel there is a small shop at the gas station. An Aldi can be reached within a 10-minute walk and three bus stops from us about a 5-minute drive away is another Aldi and a large Coop. Small rooms, insignificant breakfast and they don't turn on the air conditioning. I will suggest to avoid this hotel also from a location perspective. Stayed in May 2022. Especially anyone from India will be surprised by the little breakfast option they provide. Also no kitchenette or oven in the room

Most of your questions have been answered already. To the airport it is an 30-45mins drive. This will cost you by taxi approx. CHF 90.00
We are located at the border to the city of Zurich. Next to our hotel there is a nice forest. We do have often guests with kids, but we do not have special services as a playground or similar. You can reach the city center by public transport in 20-25mins,
It would be great to welcoming you and your familiy at our place!

We took the train to the main station in Zurich - Zurich HB
then we came out of the station and took a tram and finally a bus that dropped us within 50 meters of the hotel's entrance. the connection between each transport where faultless every time as their timetables are well coordinated.
when you arrive at the airport go to the information desk and ask them what public transport to use to get to the hotel and they will give you all the train, trams and bus numbers.
it worked really well for us and we were travelling with a big bike box and suitcases

No, we are not close to the train station. We have a Bus stop (Sunnau) directly in front of our hotel. From there you take the bus, change only once to a tramway and then you are at Zurich Main Station after approx 20 minutes. The timetables you can check on the Website of ZVV.
