The beaches near Carrapateira are spectacular and popular with surfers. Carrapateira is located within 20 minutes from Aljezur, Lagos and Sagres, towns who offer an array of different activities. You will always have something different to do. Carrapateira itself is a beautiful unspoiled fishing village where you can experience the real Portuguese atmosphere. The restaurants and bars near the beach are relaxed and friendly, with excellent food. The village centre has a local store and a small daily market selling locally grown fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. To make a long story short.... it's a paradise!!!!

Meine Frau und ich waren letzte Woche, im April 2017 im Casa de Pasto essen und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Auf dem Rückweg vom Strand in Carrapateira hatten wir Lust auf deutsche Hausmannskost und wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Der deutsche Wirt war freundlich und wir sind 2 Tage später gleich nochmal hingegangen. Auch diesmal wieder sehr lecker und wir können die Küche sehr empfehlen.
