We have just returned from a stay at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast and we have to say it was superb! After a long, windswept walk along the coast path , we received a warm welcome from Claire and Paul, and a delicious home made cream tea. The room was beautifully appointed, with lovely extra touches, such as fresh milk in a fridge concealed in the wall! Home made biscuits, and a variety of teas and coffees were provided, and comfortable chairs. The beds were also really comfortable, and the bath was so quirky- fuschia pink and very luxurious! The breakfast the next morning was absolutely wonderful. We could request what we wanted from a long list of options, and the cooked breakfast was done to perfection. We also had a lovely granola, yoghurt and berries, fresh fruit, home made apple cake and croissants, home made breads and marmalades, juice and cereals. We were so impressed! Paul and Claire are a lovely couple, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was close to some beautiful coastal walks, and we have already decided we shall be returning again to explore more of the area, and sample some more of the wonderful home-cooked food!…
We stayed here one night as we spent a week walking the SWCP. We arrived at Hartland Quay very wet and wind blown due to rain and gales all along the coast path. Paul very kindly picked us up and Claire took all our wet gear to dry. What a great welcome. The room was a real treat, furnished to high standards and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and we left dry and energised for the long, arduous trek to Bude. We were well looked after and would recommend Clouds.
Beautiful location and wonderful room and hospitality. Beautifully finished huge double bedroom and ensuite, lovely grounds to sit in and enjoy the sunshine. A short walk from the picturesque Hartland Quays with its amazing views.
Absolutely nothing to fault. Immaculately clean, spacious and luxuriously comfortable. Thoroughly recommended - especially, for us, as it was only a 10 minute drive to the heliport for the short trip to Lundy. Thank you for everything.
This B&B is absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend and I stayed in the detached studio apartment in the garden which had a lovely view, very comfortable bed, decent shower and a nice log fire. We were given a complimentary cream tea upon arrival! We have never had that before, even better was the fact that the scones were home made! Claire and Paul are very welcoming and friendly people who know alot about the local area including where to walk and spend the day. The breakfast in the morning was perfect and yet again had more homemade jam, bread etc so was very delicious. Would highly recommend.
