My wife and I spent 4 days with Giovanna. Our experience could not have been better! The room and it's setting was beautiful. We absolutely loved the agriturismo and Giovanna. She shared daytrip recommendations and helped us when we needed it. All of this and believe me, she is a excellent cook. We enjoyed every aspect of our time there. The only problem....we had to leave.

Thank you Giovanna, for a truly wonderful experience. We will return!

The old stone house, restored with loving care, is a really incredible place. Only a 15 minutes walk from the center of Fivizzano but in the middle of nature. Lots of flowers, herbs, badgers, birds. You can smell the nature but also hear it: Overwhelming sound of crickets, bird song and the sound of the river nearby. Perfect place to relax. Lovely rooms, big and comfortable and despite the heat outside pleasantly cool. Giovanna the host offers at all times a warm hospitality, you feel immediately very comfortable and welcome. She is fantastic! We stayed for three nights and had dinner here. Giovanna cooked very delicious meals, we enjoyed every evening. Very good wine and local beer! We are definitely planning to come back!

Giovanna was very welcoming, she met us in the twon center and drove us as far as our hatchback would allow, from there we moved our bags into her 4x4 and she drove the last 500m across the river and over to the property.
The balcony suite was gorgeous with a splendid view over her large garden and the river winding below. There were badgers, birds, crickets and the most beautiful smells of nature. There is a communal area outside where breakfast and dinner is served.

Walk up the river or drive 10 minutes or drive up the road to Pognana for a natural pool with rock diving and beautiful waterfalls... directions >

Drive to Pognana, keep left through the town so you head back down the hill.
Over the bridge
Stop/park by the old stone house/watermill
Walk behind the house up the hill and then down to the waterfalls (about 500m)

Lovely rooms, clean and quiet, just the sound of birds and a stream. Easy to start walking from the B&B, some really spectacular tracks. Giovanna the hostess, cooks slow food on request...perfect! She understands hospitality...we are coming back!

I really enjoyed the quiet of being out in the country hearing the soft sound of the river, bird song and bees buzzing. There were lots of flowers and some outdoor chairs and tables. The bedroom was big and comfortable. The place is a very old stone house, but so very nicely painted inside with some of the stone walls exposed. Very modern bathroom fixtures and very clean. We were there 4 nights. A few other people came and went and it was pleasant with only three rooms, so not a lot of people. Giovanna is fantastic. She does everything, cook, clean and time to take us into town. We had no car. She also washed our clothes and hung outdoors for no extra charge. We ate several meals and enjoyed those. Ate lots of goat cheese, pasta, and fresh fruit and salad. She is an official producer of honey, but the hives are not on the property. She showed us around town and sent us to a nice restaurant in town. We met cousins who took us to the Panegacceria (sp?)(wood burning oven that produces fantastic bread for sandwich style eating with meats and cheeses.) Delicious.
Only down side is the last few meters of road are extremely rough and you need a 4-wheel drive and lots of nerve to get over it...or walk. This is mentioned in her website, but we could not believe how jolting it was!! I loved being there and would return.
