This accommodation is superb! We were lucky enough to be the only ones booked in here, so had the run of the beautiful home. Bathroom was amazing, breakfast was very special and beds were very comfortable. The ladies that attended to us were very friendly and knowledgeable on the area and surrounds. Such a beautiful garden and so much history in the house. Highly recommend as a place to stay.

Loved this cottage. Beautifully presented and furnished, our very friendly host Angela was there to greet us with afternoon tea then returned the next day to cook us a delicious breakfast. Spacious, comfortable, stylish couldn’t ask for a better place and wished we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

The first treat was arriving and the fire was on. Our room was warm & cozy with lovely linen. Lovely old pieces of furniture and art throughout. Lovely little touches from acknowledging our wedding anniv 🥂 🍰 to crystal jug of lemon water in our room and beautiful Linden Leaves body wash in bathroom . Christine was warm friendly and welcoming and prepared a beautiful table and cooked breakfast for us in the morning. Thank you

We loved our time at the drs residence. Angela greeted us on arrival with a lovely afternoon tea. we were 2 couples so had the whole house to ourselves. lovely touches throughout the home, including fresh flowers and chocolates in the bedrooms. Angela was an excellent host, returning in the morning to cook us a yummy breakfast. Its worth getting off the rail trail to explore Naseby, have a go at curling and stay at the Drs Residence. Thanks Angela :)

Lovely accommodation and old home with lots of historical appeal. Host Raywyn is a delight and will give you a complete run down on the house and Naseby and a very satisfying breakfast. Naseby is an interesting turn of the 19th century village with the only curling rink in the southern hemisphere and a selection of beautiful walks for the active. Had great meals at the Royal Hotel in Naseby and a wonderful meal at the 150 year old Dansey's Pass Coach Inn.

We were fortunate to stay a night in this beautiful house on the second night of cycling the rail trail. We were welcomed by the manager Raylene with a lavish high tea and tales of Naseby and the home’s history. There are two guest suites so we had the house to ourselves overnight. This included the lounge with its wonderful artwork and fireplace. Our four-room suite was old-world charm with modern luxury. It was a 5-star experience.

Thank you very much for your kind review and we are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. Despite having Fibre installed in the house and now with the addition of' extenders ', unfortunately the WiFi to the bedroom area (it works well in the Lounge) still remains below par due to the house being built in three different stages over a 40 year period. We are still working to improve this and hope that you were still able to enjoy the unique history of this lovely home and maybe enjoy some 'device free' moments! Thank you again for staying with us.

A fabulous residence. Raylene our host looked after everything including our gluten free needs. The accommodation was first class. A great spot to rest up after a day of cycling on the Otago Rail Trail.
