My daughter and I stayed at the Bazzoni for two nights. The room was cozy and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake Como.

Went on a Leger coach trip with two friends and apart from a few minor mishaps along the way, some oddball fellow passengers and not the best weather thoroughly enjoyed myself. As for the food the breakfast selection was fantastic but dinner a bit hit and miss however a great antipasti buffet made up for that. The all inclusive drinks package is fantastic and basically begins from the minute you check in. In our case from around midday. The staff - particularly those in the dining room - were great. The hotel is lovely. Situated right on the lake and really central. The town itself is very nice but unfortunately the weather was not so good so not seen at its best this time round. However somewhere I would go to again as an independent traveller and would definitely stay at the Hotel but during September or even August. My room was really nice and very clean and spacious with a good sized shower room. Small but adequate balcony overlooking the lake perfect for me. Had requested a partial view of the lake but probably got an almost full one. Overall I would rate my experience a solid 7.5/10.

We arrived at the hotel on Sunday 8/10/23 through Leger Coach holiday package. Great check in at the hotel, lifts very tiny especially with someone using a wheelchair. Restaurant - food was plenty, but think need more staff when hotel busy, and open restaurant at 0630am daily instead of 0700am, this gives passengers chance to eat if leaving early on excursions. Just an observation with packed lunches use butter on the bread and not coleslaw as the butter, and do a mixture of just ham, or ham and cheese and or just cheese, and vary just oranges every day in the packed lunches. Hotel rooms were clean and tidy, nice touches with free welcome of bottles of water in fridge on arrival, and thank you for the extra picture on the way home. Awesome views across the Lake to the mountains and the Lake itself.

Hotel Bazzoni has plusses and minuses. Between "Average" and "Very Good" if there's such a selection. On the plus side the double room with terrace was very comfortable and cleaned every day. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and atmosphere. On the minus side the evening meal was a disaster and ate there 3 times out of 7. Took the option of pre-ordering pizza at reception on 2 nights which ensured we had something we recognised to eat. A buffet with chips would've been much better. Red and White nice restaurant close by. Avoided N26 as owned by hotel. One drink in the nice bar and saw the blonde lady in action who destroyed the atmosphere. Glams up the road nice for a drink. Had a fire alarm activation at 4 am one morning and left to our own devices to exit the hotel. No explanation or advice from hotel staff regarding the situation and eventually word went round that we could re-enter. On checkout facilities were non-existence to freshen up. Will remember the views and the breakfast most. And the small shop beside with the lovely woman and her 2 sons which was a lifesaver for a few Moretti and snacks.

The hotel is decent for the price, but not the best. The room was a good size for the two of us, but the ‘double’ bed was just two single beds pushed together. The guests around us were very noisy, as were the cars and people outside (even with the patio door shut) and the rooms don’t seem to be sound proof at all. The breakfast buffet has a decent selection, including hot bacon, eggs, and sausages, and cold cereals, cakes, and biscuits. Unlimited coffees from the machine too! However, the evening menu at the hotel was poor, especially if you’re a vegetarian, and the pizzas we got on the first night were €24 each for what tasted like frozen pizza. I also found the waitressing staff to be a little rude and dismissive, although the reception staff seemed friendlier. Overall, the hotel could do with an update and a better evening menu. It’s in a good location and has a stunning view of the lake, and for the price, it’s decent.

Positives: the staff (apart from No26 staff) were lovely. Very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast buffet was good, a varied selection of foods and snacks. Negatives: the hotel website paints a very glossy picture of this place. In reality, the building is tired and in need of renovation. It's location on a busy road means that it is rarely quiet. Consequently it doesn't give value for money. I'm not going to review Bistrot No 26 (attached to the hotel) here. It will have its own review separately - if I included it, the score would unfortunately be no more than one star and that would be unfair to the hotel itself.

We stayed in rooms 305 and 306 which had a lovely view of Lake Como. The rooms were tiny with very basic storage facilities for clothing and a small bathroom. The breakfast had a good choice but the dinner served in the evenings was of a very poor standard, tasteless. (Like school dinners on a plate). So much so that most of the guests we travelled over with ate out for dinner in nearby restaurants most evenings. The hotel checkout was 10.am. and it was also unable to offer our group somewhere to freshen up before being picked up at 16.30 to travel home. Overall its not good enough and needs to improve a lot. None of our party have expressed willingness to ever return to this location.

The rooms are basic and small but fine. We were glad we paid extra for the lake view balcony room. The bar area is good and there was entertainment most nights. Location wise, Tremezzo is not the best - it's just one long busy road. But there are a few very nice restaurants, bars & shops and it has easy access to all the ferries which is a big plus. The food in the hotel was poor quality food badly cooked. We were on an escorted tour holiday for a week - booked in for half board. Most of our group ate out in the local restaurants most nights so I think that sums it up. I give this hotel 3 stars only because most of the staff were lovely. But there was one guy in the bar who seemed to be in charge and he was so rude, ill mannered and hostile. I would not recommend this hotel. But Lake Como is so beautiful. We had a lovely holiday, despite the hotel.

Positives: The location. Room serviced daily,Great breakfast. Good Music.Hard working restaurant staff. Negatives: Additional single supplement for my friends' tiny tiny single room?.Not adequate for the price paid. Evening meal like school dinners so we ate elsewhere (Red and White) restaurant very good to the left of hotel. The most rude aggressive manner of the tall blonde bar woman who upset so many guests. No one was rude to her or,drunk so there was no need for the behaviour which got worse as the week went along. To the point of her making specific eye contact with guests sitting in the bar then waving and smiling in a very sarcastic manner...just awful...left guests standing and waiting for no reason pretending to clear just a few glasses, belittled another young barman in front of guests. Several people from other coach tours also complained to reception but, nothing was done, she obviously wasn't spoken too so she carried on with her nasty ways, disgraceful behaviour. One very elderly lady from another tour was reduced to tears and she complained to the bar woman about her behaviour telling her that she would be reported to the manager, the bar woman replied that she was the manager'... Management it seems are not interested in any complaints after all, they've had your money, would not recommend staying here if you choose to visit this area....... One part of the road out from the hotel is part closed so your excursions will take hours meaning less time for your visits.
