First of all, we need to take the fact that it is a 3 star rating as a base.
The hotel is basically old. I think he's similar to my age...
The location is very good.
It's right in front of Hakata Station.
If you come out of west exit 7, you just have to cross the crosswalk, and there is another exit under Starbucks right next to the hotel, but I forgot which exit it is.
The first floor was the lobby, and the 10th, 11th, and 12th floors seemed to be used as room floors.
The first floor is the hotel lobby and breakfast area, and they also have quite a few books.
It is easy to leave your luggage after checking out, self-service system.
I was told that it wasn't soundproof, so I asked for an inner room, but don't ever say that.
Just sleep as much as you are given. (If you are in a room at the end of the hallway, absolutely, absolutely do not shine. The size of the alcove is small, the mirror, light, and furniture are all different from those in the room in the hallway. The bed is also against the wall, so if you sleep against the wall, you will be haunted.)
However, you should take into account that unless you are in an inner room, you may be able to clearly hear the sounds of humans, cats, and humans at night.
I heard it live.
You can also hear conversations in the hallway (the door is thin and the threshold is not soundproofed).
The ice maker and vending machine are in the hallway, and the coffee machine on the first floor seems to have been used almost all the time.
Breakfast in the morning is simple.
I think it was about this: 3 types of bread, rice, miso, sausage, egg, stir-fried chicken and vegetables, cabbage salad, and 2 types of juice.
I recommend that you satisfy your hunger and go to a nearby restaurant for a hearty meal.
The hot water comes out just fine.
The water pressure was good too.
I saw an article that said the room size was large, but if you put two suitcases on the floor, excluding the bed, it would be full.
Actually, I chose the larger room based on the room size, but I made a mistake.
The most important cleanliness...
Haha...I overlooked this.
If you are sensitive to cleanliness, I recommend paying more and going somewhere else.
The bathtub drain was full of black water stains, not pink water stains...
On the first day, the bedding in the room smelled of cigarette smoke. The scent of a strange man,,,
For those who say that all you have to do is wash and sleep, and I'm not sensitive to noise or cleanliness, so the location alone is enough, I highly recommend it for its cost-effectiveness due to its location (however, there are tons of hotels near Hakata).
Rooms are a bit small but that's normal especially if your hotel is in the city.
Breakfast could be very busy and waking up early is highly suggested. When you asked for an extra pillow the one they will give you is way better than the regular pillow. I forgot what do they called it but it's seems like a special pillow.
What i like about them is they have soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in bathroom.
Cons
Carpet is dirty so better use their slippers.
The room tariff includes breakfast, which was in the form of buffet with mainly Japanese food. Good to fill up the stomach before a busy day. As with other hotels in Japan, the staff members speak pretty basic English.
The room was clean, quite bare and basic though it was old, It had an odd curve. Housekeeping was good and done daily. Bath essentials are provided in dispensers inside the bathroom.
Reception was English speaking and helpful. Checkin was fast and efficient on the self checkin machine.
Staff were excellent when we asked if they could help us freeze some food we bought. Seems like this is part of the temporary storage service provided by the Comfort Hotel.
Also, staff showed great initiative when we asked for information to go to the Marinoa Outlet mall, they googled and checked for information on transport and even printed out the map for us.
Great team work by the reception office team.
Breakfast was included and staff were welcoming and cheerful.
Overall a great stay. Dated rooms but the excellent staff made our stay great.
They have breakfast, but be prepared to wait. I just went downstairs saw the line, and decided to go to 7-11 which is in the same building.
Plus sides Staff spoke english, room was clean like i said bed's comfy. I am not that picky in regards to hotels so I can probably say safely i'd stay there again.
The view from my room was amazing.
Rooms are a little small with the double bed smashed up against the window. Self serve laundromat is on the 14th floor - reasonable and convenient.
A budget location across the bus terminal and railway station is the best rrason to stay at this hotel.
I accidentally left my coat behind when I checked out and didn't notice until more than 2 hours later when getting ready to go to the airport. The staff was very helpful in locating it quickly,
Triples room was big enough for the family.
I loved that it is near 7-11, shopping mall and restaurants and everything in walking distance. Don't have to drag big suitcase very far. Ramen restaurants just below the hotel
It is an old hotel with the image of a backpacker hotel. All necessary amenities are self-service.
It is close to public transportation, the station, the airport, and the city center, and there are shopping facilities, tourist attractions, restaurants, and bars nearby. It is very convenient.
This time, I booked a single standard non-smoking room and stayed for one night.
The room is old, clean, and quiet.
Breakfast is included, and you can drink as many cups of coffee as you want in the dining room on the first floor.
I didn't have much contact with the front desk staff, so it's difficult to evaluate the staff, but it's convenient for solo backpackers.
