We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in Jan 2020. The hotel location is excellent; 7 minutes walk from JR Hakata Station and 2 minutes to the Canal City shopping mall. It only takes about 10 - 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel by taxi for about JPY2,000 (less than USD20). The front desk is very helpful and friendly. Since the hotel was only opened in Jan 2020, everything is so new. We stayed in a twin bed room with a sofa bed for my teenage child. However, you still feel spacious. The room is clean and comfortable. I like the bathroom which is equipped with shower and bath-tube. There is also a public bath which is absolutely value added. The lobby is very well designed with a touch of Japanese style. When we asked the front line staff to call a taxi for us to go to the airport on our departure, the staff not only took care of our request but also led us the way from the hotel lobby to the parking where the taxi was waiting. I call this genuine service from the heart. This is the first time I give a 5-star review to a hotel. I believe they earn it and desire it, and hopefully they can keep on with it.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Hakata floor with access to Hakata lounge. The room is like a suite - very quiet, modern zen design with twin 5 feet beds (we booked twin beds). There is a doorway with a walk in closet and toilets (includes a personal onsen area) and there’s a sliding door to separate all these from the bedroom. The bedroom opens up to twin 5 feet beds, a huge table with 2 seats and a corner with comfortable seats and coffee table. There’s a minibar with coffee maker and fridge with complimentary drinks including canned beers. Whilst there were only 2 of us, I read that the room can fit 3 adults and 2 children (not sure how they charge). The Hakata lounge is a quiet respite with free flow of a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Snacks like nuts, chocolates, ice cream and cakes are available. No other food served. Breakfast is served in the second floor restaurant called Nine Doors and is a very good spread. There are one or twochanges in the buffet breakfast daily. There’s a bath area for hotel guests. It’s not very big but good enough. The gym is small, clean and has new machines. Location of the hotel is good as it is walking distance to to Hakata train station and the main bus station with many restaurants nearby. We even walk to Tenjin from the hotel. Highly recommend this place. The reception staff speaks English but please be patient with them. You may need to speak slower.

During our trip, we chose to stay at this hotel for a duration of two nights. We were drawn to its convenient location, situated between Hakata Station and Canal City Hakata, both of which were easily accessible within a 10-minute journey. The hotel's design was impressive, and the room size exceeded our expectations for a city in Japan. Notably, the room even featured a wardrobe for added convenience. Additionally, the hotel provided a public bath exclusively for its guests' use.

We stayed for three nights for the new year holiday one night on the luxury floor where we got access to their Lounge. The facilities are brand new with good taste yet the hotel is with little attention of staff. In the first evening there was no staff serving and keeping the beverage and alcohol refilled, not what we've expected for a higher standard of experience. The front desk staff is generally helpful with good smiles but on the other day when we were asking if it's possible to change room due to the noise at night, a front desk male staff is quite grumpy and impolite in communicating with us. Need more training either in hospitality or communication in foreign language.

To conclude, you can find a better option if staying in Fukuoka with such price, there are many new hotels opened just around the corner.

Dear Quest313203 Thank you for staying our hotel and writing comment. And we are glad to hear that you satisfied with our hotel's facilities.. But, I’m so sorry that the lounge wasn’t managed well and you felt inconvenience during the stay in HAKATA floor. Also, I apologize to our staff’s impolite communicating attitude to you. To communicate with foreigner guest more smoothly, we will try to study English skill more hard and improve the hospitality. Thank you for your valuable advice. Best regards,

Not sure why this is called The Blossom Premier when the rooms aren’t very premium.

Initially was going to stay here for two nights but extended it for another night as wanted to rest in Hakata instead of heading back to Tokyo (big mistake, I should have just kept my hotel booking in Ginza). Booked the Hakata floor king room but it was more compact than the room in the Blossom Kumamoto while the equipment provided was quite old like the TV (no Youtube or casting feature), and the soundproofing was not that great as I could hear the people in the room next door yelling at each other late at night, and motor revving noises from the main street below.

The room was initially dusty as well: I could see dust on the wall painting and dust in top of the bed, which made me cough the whole night. After complaining to the front desk the next morning, think the housekeeping vacuumed the carpet and changed the bedding, which was a huge improvement as I wasn’t coughing anymore.

Breakfast was just terrible - the restaurant should provide á la carte options as there were guests coughing in the restaurant and god knows whether they coughed onto the food but it was quite unhygienic.

The only good thing was the lounge, which was an oasis away from the madness downstairs. Since those staying on the 14th floor are paying a higher premium for their rooms, it would be great if the hotel could provide breakfast options at the lounge instead of the restaurant similar to Hotel Granvia Hiroshima.

Would I return to this hotel? Not really sure as it attracts rude guests from neighboring countries, but if they improve the hotel conditions, then maybe.

This was our first visit to Fukuoka. The hotel is conveniently accessible by subway and a few steps away from Hakata station. Check in was a breeze and our room on the Hakata (club) floor was spacious and well appointed. The ReFa fine bubble showerheads were wonderful and a discovery (but also expensive, as we found out).

Breakfast is offered at the Nine Doors restaurant on the 2nd floor, where you can also find other restaurants. The breakfast is offered buffet style and has a good variety.

Aside from the great room and location, the lounge was the highlight. It offers a calm environment for a drink with nice views from the 14th floor. Service was exceptional. The lounge offered a pear liquor (Rien) which we loved. The lounge attendant told us where we could buy this and even called the shop to ensure that they had it in stock. Sure enough, we dropped by there the next day and the shop owner recalled the call from the hotel - what more can you ask for.

Booked 2 rooms for family holidays via one major booking site and paid. Want to contact the property for a paid upgrade to a larger room which the hotel site says could sleep 3 pax. First the hotel says they only have 1 room booking but not 2, to make it worst, the hotel will not contact the booking portal. So I wrote a couple dozen emails for the booking portal and the hotel until they found my booking. Then the hotel says they could arrange a paid upgrade for one room but not the other room. OK, your business is good. Can I book a third room? “No, we are full” Fine your business is so good. Then in mid August, Japanese government issued mega earthquake warning and we decided to continue our trip, so we contact the hotel again, after another “dozens” of email, I confirmed my 2 rooms paid upgrade which is almost 50% more but I thought at least is done. When my daughter arrived with her grandparents, they were refused to check in, citing while we paid upgrade to a 3 person room but I didn’t inform the hotel we actually has 3 guests, unless my daughter pay another extra free for another c. 80% charges of the original room charges they will not be checked in. She paid and I think is just not fair and not reasonable. After another “couple dozen” emails exchanges, my feeling was like talking to a wall, worse than any AI chatbot I experienced. Finally I found that I could book a third room which will be cheaper than paying the 3rd person extra charges demanded for my paid upgrade 3 person room. Ended up, it’s a rather dear hotel stay but the worst part is the almost hundred frustrated emails exchanges for a family holidays.

P.S. The property itself is OK.

Stayed for 4 nights in Mar

Lobby is spacious and with nice atmosphere, there are hand writing brochure to introduce the nearby spots / restaurant
Walkable distance to the JR station (around 3-4 mins)

There is a very famous cafe just next to the hotel , called bread & espresso. The bread there tastes very good that you cannot miss this if you stay in this hotel

Room is not very large (as Japan hotel room will not be very large though), but it’s ok to have a small desk to enjoy the snacks / fruits that we bought from supermarket

Hakata floor room indeed is the biggest room I have ever stayed in Japan. As this is a rather new hotel so the room is clean and nice
We were allocated 3 rooms together as a family as we spend Chinese Lunar New Year in Fukuoka. I did a downgrade when my family left and I have an extra nite.
Like what other reviewers have mentioned. Location is good, amenities in the Hakata floor is good. Space is good. ( definitely different from normal hotel rooms )
I will do a comparison as best as I can between the different kind of rooms and also across the other executive floor.
Bet Hakata rooms and Normal room.
Normal room is small. No bath tub unless u do the deluxe twin room ( corner rooms)
The toiletries also big down grade. No expresso machine in room and nice green tea velvet bags./ teapot… etc To enhance yr hotel experience . Hakata room is a must stay. (Top floor only and limited rooms)
Hakata floor lounge only serve snacks, drinks and ice cream.
There is no cocktail hours. No hot food/ appetisers. There is hours when lounge is closed
Opening hours are 7am-12 pm / 3pm- 9.30pm
( so people do not stay there after check out 🙄)
Overall, hotel is nicely run, friendly staff but I guess it is Japanese culture. - rigidity seem to be the way to go. :)

It was a luxury for us, but we made the effort to stay on the Hakata floor, and it was a great decision. On a trip to experience something out of the ordinary, the hospitality in the lounge, starting with the escort when we got off the elevator on the 14th floor, was very pleasant. We had a very luxurious time, including the welcome drink of matcha and the hand-dripped coffee in the morning, as well as the view and the atmosphere. The breakfast was also very enjoyable and delicious, with many dishes typical of Hakata, such as mizutaki. I thought it would be my first and last time, but I would like to visit again. Thank you very much.
