Hilton Tokyo Bay is often celebrated for its spacious rooms and Disney-themed, family-friendly atmosphere, delighting guests with its stylish decor and special touches. The hotel's location near Disney is a highlight for many, offering convenience for park-goers and city explorers alike. While travelers enjoy the variety of amenities, including shuttles and dining options, some feel that additional costs for services like pool use could be better justified.
The hotel's cleanliness is widely praised, though there are occasional mentions of areas for improvement. Despite mixed opinions on the value, the efficient service and helpful staff are frequently commended.

I booked a King Hilton Park Room as a Hilton diamond member. There was a priority line and I was ably helped in English by the staff. No upgrade unfortunately. I think it’s my first stay at a Hilton in Japan where I didn’t at least get a higher floor or view. Oh well.
The room itself was pretty nice. Comparable in size to most of the other major western chains in Japan which means pretty spacious room by Tokyo standards. Unlike most of the other Hiltons in town this location provides a pitcher in the room and water in public areas in place of bottles in the room. I’m actually quite amenable to this as I can refill whenever I please.
As you would expect, the hotel is right next to the Disney resort area and you can either take a walk to the park/train station or take the complimentary shuttle. It’s also right next to the ocean and I enjoyed a stroll by the bay.
The breakfast buffet was really good and on par with the other Hilton hotels in town. Sweet, savory, western, and Japanese all represented. Unfortunately I only stayed for one night and did not have time to enjoy the executive lounge. For some reason there is no lounge listed as a feature on the official website and you cannot do check in there but it does exists on the ground floor.
If looking for an affordable Hilton in the greater Tokyo area I would suggest the Yokohama location as it is usually cheaper and I find Yokohama more convenient for commuting than Chiba due to the JR Keiyo line being an inconvenient transfer at Tokyo station. All that said, if planning to go to Tokyo Disney then this hotel is an obvious great choice.

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights while we visited Tokyo Disneyland. We loved our stay and will no doubt stay here again the next time we go to Disneyland. It was less than 5 minutes walk (for us) to the monorail so it was very convenient to have a mid-day break from the park. It was also easy to bring purchases back from the park, and Ikspiari (their Downtown Disney) to drop off in our room.
We got an executive room which did not cost much more than a regular room, and it included access to their executive lounge, which offered a free "continental" breakfast, and light refreshments in the evenings. When I heard continental breakfast, I expected just danishes, cereal and juice. What they have was more like a breakfast buffet! There were make your own waffles, hot food like congee, french toast, vegetables, eggs, and cold food like danishes and toast, fruit, smoked salmon, cereal and more. We had a hearty breakfast every morning, and I took a pb and j sandwich to the park for snack.
Their light refreshments in the evening (5pm start) was also like a buffet but with free alcoholic drinks too.
The room was much bigger than what we got when we moved to a different hotel in Tokyo. There was plenty of space for the 2 of us. A water jug was provided (instead of water bottles) which we filled with filtered water and ice at a station on the same floor. We also filled our reusable water bottles on the way out every morning. We had a view of the park from our room.
There was also a market (Lawson's if I remember correctly) where we got cheap udon, ramen and onigiri. It can save you money if you don't want to buy food at the park. And they heated up what we wanted hot. There was also a small Disney store that carried a good selection of Disney park items.
Staying at Hilton was less than half the price of staying at the Disney hotels. The convenience and price made this our favorite stay of this trip!

The Hilton Tokyo Bay is a wonderful hotel with a great design, soundproofed rooms, and convenient amenities. Located near Disney, it offers decent dining, a nice fitness center, and even views of Disney fireworks from your room. The crowds can be a bit overwhelming, especially with families and younger guests, and the laundry facilities can get crowded. Overall, a great hotel for families and a solid 4/5 stay.
**Full Review** The Hilton Tokyo Bay is a standout among many hotels I've stayed at, offering a refined and modern experience. Its proximity to Disney—just a 7-minute walk from the Bayside monorail station—makes it a great choice for visitors heading to Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea. The hotel itself strikes a lovely balance between relaxation and convenience. The rooms are well-designed, with thoughtful touches such as bamboo and wood elements, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
I was particularly impressed by the soundproofing in the room, which ensured a restful stay despite the hotel's popularity with families. You'd be surprised by how many hotels fail to have properly soundproofed guestrooms...
There's also a fantastic water and ice dispenser down the hall, making it easy to stay refreshed. Additionally, having a flat-screen TV with HDMI ports was a nice touch, as it allowed us to plug in our devices easily.
The dining options are varied and enjoyable, with 6 choices that range from a sleek Asian restaurant to a lounge with high ceilings and a relaxed ambiance. While the hotel offers ample dining and leisure options, the seasonal outdoor pool, indoor lap pool, and fitness center were some of the highlights. As someone who often finds hotel gyms lacking, this Hilton’s gym stood out as one of the better ones I've encountered in Japan.
However, there are a few caveats worth mentioning. This hotel—and others in the area—tends to attract a lot of families and younger guests, particularly those visiting the Disney parks. Expect a bustling atmosphere with crowded pathways and common areas. The laundry room and Lawson convenience store were often full of guests, which could be a bit overwhelming, and while laundry prices were reasonable, you may find yourself needing multiple dryer cycles.
And the gym was usually occupied by older folks, so there is that as well.
That said, the overall experience at Hilton Tokyo Bay was excellent. It offers great amenities, a comfortable stay, and excellent service. If you can overlook the hustle and bustle of a hotel packed with families, it’s a solid choice for a stay near Disney. I would give it a well-deserved 4/5.

We chose the hotel because it has very spacious family rooms, which are generous for Japan and are not available in central Tokyo in this price category. The Hilton Tokyo Bay is not in Tokyo but in Urayasu, which is part of the Chiba prefecture. The location to Disney was also a deciding factor, although we only visited one of the parks. Because of the good value for money, we accepted the daily commute to the center by metro and subway instead of staying in the center.
The rooms were neat and very clean. The staff were friendly, although not overly warm. You can tell that the hotel is geared towards the masses.
Some of the restaurants were very large and you sometimes lost track of what was going on in the main restaurant during breakfast because it was so crowded with people. The noise level was accordingly high. On some days we preferred to either have breakfast outside or choose one of the small restaurants in the Hilton. The selection was almost identical. The children particularly liked the children's buffet. Brightly decorated and everything a child's heart could desire: pancakes, waffles, pasta and more.
We didn't use the spa or the fitness area because the fee for the swimming pool was too expensive and you could only use the pool in 2-hour slots.
During our stay, a family member was suddenly hospitalized for several days. We were forced to change our travel plans and extend our stay in Tokyo. When it became known that the hospital stay would last longer, I extended the room late in the evening at the Hilton reception for one night, with the option of three nights. I was asked to confirm this the following morning. The employee assured me that he would hold the room for me and not give it away. When I wanted to extend the booking with another hotel employee for another two nights the next morning, I was faced with the fact that our stay could no longer be extended. The hotel was suddenly fully booked. I was shocked and was forced to vacate the room within 1.5 hours and find a new hotel in Tokyo for the remaining family members for another few nights.
After many stays in Hilton hotels around the world, this was a very negative experience and it left a negative mark. This incident also showed that verbal statements are often worthless and Status Honors is just a blank label.

Big busy hotel. Nice and modern decor, very systematic and well-run .
Location: near to the Parks. They provide free shuttle to jr maihama station which is 5-7 min walk to Disneyland entrance. For disney sea, have to walk opp to bayside station and take one stop to disneysea entrance.
F&B : good breadfast . There are a few other restaurants on the hotel. The most amazing part, there is a 24hr lawson in the hotel, 1 deli, 1 ramen shop for takeaway, 1 seafredo cafe, perfect convenience for all guests
Rooms: big and nicely renovated. On each level, there is a water dispensor + ice dispenser. Thumbs up.
Parking : 3100 yen per night, there are covered and open air carpark in front of hotel, have to inform hotel to get special parking ticket. Otherwise, the carpark machines will go by visitor rate which is abt 11000 per day
Park tickets can be bought fr counter but only via cash.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of November 2023 for a trip to Tokyo Disneyland & Disney sea. We booked a Twin Celebrio Room with Park view. We had 3 adults with 3 comfortable beds in a decent sized mid century modern decorated room with a view out the front of the hotel. There was a spacious bathroom with soaking tub/shower combo, fridge as well as electric kettle. We also liked the festival Christmas decorations around the hotel lobby. The only negative of our stay was that we did have to wait extra long for the elevators up to our room a few times as it was very crowded with other guests in the evenings.
We chose the Hilton Tokyo Bay specifically for the close proximity location to the Disney parks and walking distance to the resort line train. The easy transportation from Haneda airport was also great. We rode the airport Limousine bus from Haneda directly to the Hilton and it was very cheap, convenient, drops you off out front and doesn't involve hauling luggage on the JR trains. But it is the last stop on the resort bus line so it takes a little time.
Hilton Front Desk staff were all very friendly, efficient and made check in/out very easy. They spoke English but will switch to Japanese if you prefer. We did not have time to use Hilton amenities such as the gym, pool, onsite restaurants or breakfast plan.
If you don't use their restaurant, you can take the resort line train to Ikspiari where there is a lot of Japanese & Western dining to choose from. Or you can use the 24 hour Lawson Combini in the Hilton Main Lobby for food and snacks. Be aware it can be crowded with students/kids on weekends or holidays. The staff do speak English but appreciate Japanese. Bring your patience for the check out line.
This hotel has a wonderful location across the street from the Bayside resort line train station that will take you right to the Disney parks easily and early in the mornings for park opening and nice at the end of a long day to get back to your room quickly. You can walk directly across the street from the Hilton or take the provided shuttle bus. Walking was faster for us. The resort line is easy to use, but bring cash for the ticket machines and remember to keep your tickets until your final destination where you put them back into the machines upon departure.
Overall we loved our stay at the Hilton Tokyo Bay. It's a convenient location, good value, has friendly staff and decent sized rooms. It is a bit chaotic with kids and excited families, but that's part of any Disney vacation these days.

We stayed at Hilton Tokyo Bay to visit Disney, like many others. This was our first time at the hotel, and it did not disappoint. From the warm greeting by the staff at the front door to the convenient location, excellent housekeeping, and the outstanding front desk and concierge team, everything was well-managed. A special mention goes to Philip, who assisted us with retrieving an item a friend had left at the front desk. While it may not seem like a big deal, the way Philip handled the situation was exceptional and left a lasting impression.
The hotel was quite busy, and I suspect it stays that way year-round. Despite booking relatively late, we requested a higher floor and were pleasantly surprised when the reservations team accommodated our request—this was greatly appreciated.
Some major highlights included the shuttle buses to the airport and Mihama Station, along with the convenient Bayside bus stop, which was just a 2-3 minute walk away. These options made getting around very easy, even if we didn’t feel like walking.
One area that left us slightly underwhelmed was the breakfast buffet. While there were some positives, like the Ramen station and omelette bar, we felt the overall selection and variety did not meet expectations for the ~JPY 8400 (for 2 people) price point. The kids’ station was a nice touch, but other elements were lacking, such as the absence of coffee machines. While we understand this is an upscale hotel buffet, we believe there’s room for improvement, and we hope this feedback is helpful.
Overall, Hilton Tokyo Bay offers a fantastic location and an excellent experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Disney, with just a small suggestion to enhance the breakfast offering.

The hotel may be old (especially when you look at it from outside) but it has done excellent maintenance work to rooms and interior facade etc. I really liked that they opened up an extra buffet space for breakfast to handle the hotel’s full capacity… and that large space happened to be right downstairs my lift. There is a very well-equipped and well-maintained gym, and an indoor pool (but you need to pay to use it… so minus a point there). There are multiple restaurants, but I didn’t eat at those so can’t comment. That said, our conference lunch buffets were horrible - in fact, probably the worst I’ve ever had (another minus point here).
In-room amenities were comprehensive. Crabtree and evelyn toiletries were provided in large bottles - excellent! Air-conditioning was quiet and strong. Loved their small attempt at classic minimalist decor. Generous green tea bags provided. However, slippers were reusable type (luckily I got antibacterial wipes to clean down first)… if I had known I would have brought my own disposable slippers!
To and fro free shuttle buses to Disney land and Maihama station with frequent appearances are provided - we are grateful for those.
Overall staff is friendly, helpful.

Lovely experience, perfect for Disnelyand, however beware hidden extras!
We booked a family room for 2 kids, 2 adults, and during reservation elected to book a room inclusive of buffet breakfast. On day 1 breakfast we wewre advised the breakfast onlt caters for 2 adults, and children are extra - approx $2,500 yen per child!
Secondly we elected this hotel because it listed having both an outdoor and indoor pool available. We were hoping at the end of our trip to enjoy some downtime at the hotel, whilst also enjoying Disneyland. We were advised that the outdoor pool is only open for 2 months of the year, and had already closed. The indoor pool is for a fee of $4,000 yen per person, per swim!!
In the end we did go for a swim, and it was nice, and we had breakfast both days, however I requested the fees be reviewed by the manager as I felt they were not made clear enough during reservation (and they were exceptionably high for what they were). The fees were then waived by the hotel after this review.
It's a shame really because these hidden fees really added a negative element to what was otherwise a great hotel and a nice stay.
The rooms are great for the kids - nice theme, overlook Disneyland. The location is close to the monorail and they do offer a limousine bus to the airports (even though their website says they do not). Restaurant buffet food was good quality, nice variety of Japanese and Western food.
I would stay here again if the hidden charges were declared and reasonable at the time of booking, but I'd also look at other options nearby as there are about 5 or 6 Disney hotels all nextdoor to each other. Some may offer the same experience at better value.

I stayed overnight at Disney with my son who is in 6th grade. We chose the executive room as a little luxury. It was the right choice! The room had no unnecessary amenities and was equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, so we were able to enjoy delicious coffee at our leisure. My son, who doesn't usually drink coffee, was very satisfied. We had dinner from the hotel's takeout deli, and bought pasta, salad, and fries. Everything was as delicious as what you would get at a restaurant, and my son said he wanted to come back to eat just that! The breakfast in the lounge had just the right amount of items, and the waffles you can make yourself are crispy, fluffy, and amazing! I would definitely like to use it again during spring break!
