We booked this hotel through Agoda. Terrible experience. The price online showed $200 per night and a 5 star hotel. I felt the hotel was outdated and the beds were uncomfortable. Amenities were lacking. Agoda ending up charging us $3000 for 3 nights. They will not refund the overcharge for what I would call a 3 star hotel so I’m sure this impacts my opinion of what we experience as an extremely overpriced hotel.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. Hotel's Favourite
We were presently surprised by this hotel having booked a last minute deal. It’s ideal for accessing Disney (Sea particularly), it’s quiet and the rooms are spacious with modcons like USB chargers. One highlight was they transferred our luggage free of charge to the DisneyLand Resort hotel for our second night as they are one of the resort hotels. We didn’t eat there (used Uber Eats) but the hotel and restaurants were quiet. Overall much better value than the Disneyland resort and less industrial feeling; would recommend

…mostly made up for the lack of other amenities at the Okura Tokyo Bay, though I was a little disappointed at how bare things seemed (especially the under-used central court yard) and the closed restaurants most days of the week. We were here for four nights and mostly loved our stay though as our suite gave us plenty of room for all four of us and the bathroom was fantastic! Very good breakfast and super friendly staff too. And importantly for all stay: super convenient for visiting the Disney parks of course.

Clean, reasonably near to Disneyland We stayed at Okura for 2 nights and everything was pleasant. We had our room ready when we went back around 6pm. Check in was easy. Room: size was big in Japan standard and we could have a spare bed for our 6 year old toddler and place to place 2 big luggages. However bed was very hard and uncomfortable. But overall no major complaints. Breakfast: simple, not extensive but also good enough. Overall will suggest if room rates are reasonable. Hotel is old but well maintained and clean.

After reading the various reviews of the hotel, I was rather skeptical about the stay but i would say overall the hotel is well acceptable if one likes to be close to the theme parks, Disneyland and Disney Sea. The hotel is just across the theme park monorail station which makes it very convenient. Check in was fast and upon entering the room, I was impressed with the size despite the dated decor but the room is well maintained. The only problem I had with the room is the very hard bed even for someone who likes bed on the hard size. Otherwise everything is good about the room. What I found also missing in this hotel compared to other Japanese hotels is the lack of self service laundry and also lack of onsen which would be a relief after long day at the theme parks. Breakfast spread is good but a little pricey.

The hotel has a great location right near the monorail, Disneyland and Disney Sea. The staff were amazing and the lobby has a convenience store situated in the lobby. However, the hotel could do with a total revamp. The carpet was stained and threadbare in the guest room, the wallpaper was peeling - it was very rundown looking. Worst of all though was the bed. It was as hard as a rock. We thought it might just be a Japan thing but the next two hotels had very comfortable beds so it was definitely just this hotel. It made it very difficult to sleep as it was literally like sleeping on a block of wood. We wouldn’t return to this hotel unfortunately, despite the lovely staff as it desperately needs a renovation. Not worth the money!

Overall, I will give a rating of 9.6 out of 10 for this hotel. Location: It locates in the Tokyo Disneyland area. There is a mono-rail loop line in Disneyland. The hotel is just across the street of the mono-rail station 'Bayside'. There is a JR station 'Maihama' at Disneyland. To travel between the hotel and Tokyo is about 30 minutes by taking train. Check-in: Check-in was fast. The hotel gives a few restaurant discount coupons which is a plus. Condition: The hotel itself is dated but well maintained. However, the elevator button at the floor lobby is not sensitive. Room: Room is clean, comfort and spacious. They are still using door tag for 'Do Not Disturb'. The light is controlled by switches, not like some hotels using the door key for controlling lights but I believe nobody would care about this. Facilities: It is a very nice resort except no swimming pool. Staff and service: Staff are very polite and offer exceptional services. When we arrived to check-in, we were offered wet towel for freshen up. The lobby staff offered to take our used towel as garbage. Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay is one of the best hotels among all the hotels I have stayed in Japan. I definitely recommend others to stay in this hotel.

We, party of three, stayed at this hotel on July 5-6. I have to say the staff at this hotel are so polite, helpful, and extremely well-trained. When we arrived to the hotel by the Disney shuttle bus, staff outside at the front entrance nicely greeted us and was ready to lend us hands for our trolley. When we were checking in, we were told our 5 pieces of luggages transferred from Disney resort are already in our room! How proactive and helpful they are! I stayed at other hotels with same star level and they would only hand you your transferred luggages at check-in. During my 2 days of stay, I need several assistance from the staff, in term of travel recommendation and luggage transfer. Again, efficient and timely service from the staff. I remember when we were leaving, the shuttle bus was late which was kind of unusual. Staff walking by saw the line of people and tried to comfort guests that “the bus will be here soon”. I feel like I am a guest at this hotel. Great job training at Okura! Thank you for the exceptional services.

The hotel serves its purpose. We came to go to Tokyo Disney, but the buck stops there. Staff were nice but not at all inviting compared to the many hotels we stayed at in Japan. Rooms, lobby, restaurants, hallways, etc. were so dated that I felt like I had been transported back to the 1980s. Hotel felt as if it was struggling to figure out hospitality after COVID. Would not return.

Overall service is very good. No matter the environment, food quality, interior design, location are excellent. However, only want to highlight the language barrier when I told with room service, it has some communication breakdown.
