We stayed at the Monterey hotel for 4 nights. The room was very clean and I've found the bed comfortable. We had breakfast included and there's a good variety of Japanes and continental food. The younger staff speak basic English compare to the older employees....More

Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. I've only stayed here in the summer (and we were able to adjust the temperature for the room) but I have also stayed at Monterey Hotels in both Kyoto and Osaka during the winter and was able to adjust the room temperature no problem. Pretty sure it's the same for all hotels throughout the chain.
