The hotel recreates the style of a London townhouse, combining classical elegance with modern practicality, ensuring the building blends in well with the plush surroundings of Aoyama-dori. In addition, the stylish grey and white facade, mixed with soft tones of limestone, provide a splendid contrast to the greenery around Akasaka. Meanwhile, the central location means that for business and leisure travellers alike, it is extremely convenient for access to the major hubs of Shibuya, Shinjuku and Tokyo Station. Please come and enjoy a relaxing and leisurely stay in the midst of the city.

Akasaka, Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.

given how expensive tokyo is, we were lucky to find this hotel in budget. the room was the tiniest of our 8 country trip, and i had apparently booked one double bed rather than a king bed (my fault) and they were fully booked so couldn't upgrade, but were at least honest about

We stayed here for three nights on our honeymoon. The room was a bit small for US standards, but we thought it was a great deal--very clean, close to multiple subway stations, and walking distance to some decent restaurants and convenience stores. Would highly recommend.

I was absolutely surprised by this hotel. Tokyo is known for having small rooms and bathrooms and staying in this hotel proved me wrong. The bedroom size was just perfect. I´ve stayed for 7 nights with four large suitcases and I still have space to move around and feel

We just stayed here for 4 nights. It's a good hotel at a great location. The hotel rooms are rather small, but well appointed. On the higher floors you can see over the emperor's back garden. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The staff provides great

Can you take limousine bus from Haneda Airport to your hotel?
Hi there, you can get off at the Akasaka Excel Hotel Tokyu on the Limo Bus route and it is around a 500 meter walk from there to Hotel Monterey.

I've only stayed here in the summer (and we were able to adjust the temperature for the room) but I have also stayed at Monterey Hotels in both Kyoto and Osaka during the winter and was able to adjust the room temperature no problem. Pretty sure it's the same for all hotels throughout the chain.

Definitely a bit cramped even if you only plan to spend a minimum amount of time there. Best to e-mail the hotel directly and ask. There are bigger rooms which will make you stay more comfortable.

The hotel will store your luggage. It is a very central place. You can walk towards Omotesando, but it is also very easy to take the metro to Ginza and stroll around there. The winter season is really nice in Tokyo. It is cold, but dry and less crowded. Some places close between the year, but only for some days, so when you arrive everything will be back in business.
