Hotel GrandBach TokyoGinza stands out for its stylish and artistic ambiance, with guests frequently commending the cultural themes and inviting lobby bar. While room sizes vary, comfort and modern amenities are consistently noted. Its prime Ginza location earns high marks for convenience, and the cleanliness of the hotel is widely praised.
However, some guests have mentioned that the value is lessened by the additional costs for extras. The service is generally well-regarded, although occasional issues with consistency and communication have been noted.

If you want to stay in Ginza then look no further. This is the place to be. You are greeted by classical music as you enter the hotel. We booked the triple room which was big (around 45-50 square meters) and reasonably priced (not high and now low). We didn’t book breakfast as it seemed expensive so opted to eat breakfast outside as there are plenty of cafes opened in the morning around the hotel. The rooms are quite high quality design . They give you a torch on the bedside table so you can use when going to toilet at night. The curtains are operated electrically . Bathroom is big size . Our stay was very comfortable. The only drawback is there is no bell boy to take luggage to your room .

We stayed in room 1411 for 3 nights. Lobby is on the second floor. Check-in was fast. Staff are friendly.
Room 1411 is on the smaller side, we had issues finding space for our 2 large luggages, 1 carry-on and 2 backpacks. Room has a king sized bed and view towards another building.
The blackout screen was great! Doesn’t let daylight in at all.
We received a Welcome voucher for a free drink & cake - which was delicious.
Location is superb! Even though it’s located in Ginza, it was quiet at night. Tsukiji Fish market was 10 min walk, a lot of restaurants and department stores are in walking distance. Subway are 5 min walk away. 10 min taxi ride to Tokyo Station for Shinkansen.
Check out is 11 am. We asked for late check out at noon instead but the cost would be 2000 Yen, so we decided to have them store our luggage for free instead.
Would stay here again but would book a larger room.

The hotel is very conveniently located 200m from the closest subway station, 600m from Ginza station, and an easy 10 to 15 min walk to Tokyo station. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants, Ramen places, small retail shops, open nearly 24/7 ....couldn't have asked for a better location.
The hotel itself is very clean, spacious well appointed rooms, loved the bathtub, comfortable beds and pillows...and has nice large windows overlooking the street.
The restaurant offers breakfasts, mine was included in the room rate, every day one can choose from "American Breakfast" (scrambled egg, sausage, baronetcy etc), "Japanese breakfast" (hot smoked fish, rice, omelet...), and a changing one (eggs Benedict, German, French toast etc). The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
Our flight got cancelled and we were able to stay in the room the extra night at the same rate with no hassle at all.
Overall would highly recommend this hotel based on location and comfort.

We spent four nights in this property . Initial impression is quite good for a four star hotel the reception is small but well presented , checkin and checkout is efficient and friendly but there are not any baggage porters so you have to manhandle your own luggage .our room(1007) was again quite small as you would expect in a city centre hotel but was reasonably appointed with good connectivity sleep quality was good and the room and hotel are very quiet . The bathroom reflects the room and has a superb rain shower with pump action toiletries which offer a very nice fragrance. Housekeeping is excellent and our room and the hotel generally are sparkling clean . We had vouchers for breakfast which is ala carte Japanese or American and in both cases was terrible taste and quality were poor and quality was minuscule. To the point of being ridiculous for example a smoothie served in a shot glass only one fifth full , a salads served in a small soup bowl with four pieces of lettuce one half of a cherry tomato and one slice of cucumber, scrambled egg running in an unidentifiable liquid and of course the American staple breakfast fare vegetable soup!!!!! we ate in the restaurant twice which was more than enough ther were only one or two other customers it was obvious why there was of course the option of a health breakfast which was an extra $25 per person . To be fair we returned our unused vouchers and the hotel refunded us .in short a hotel with a great location but avoid the restaurant

First class hotel well located in the beautiful Ginza. From arrival to check out, we felt cared for and valued by the staff. The hotel rooms are very spacious and come with all the amenities you could ever think of and include all the toiletries you will need for your stay - so you can travel to Tokyo light. The hotel atmosphere is light, airy and modern with a very stylish bar. I would 100% recommend staying here when visiting Tokyo. Don’t waste your time booking elsewhere, just stay here. The hotel website provided us with a much better rate than any other website, with discounts for booking well in advance of your stay.

The suite is very comfortable with all the modern amenities. However, we wish there is an expresso machine in the room as the drip coffee was too weak. House keeping was a bit careless. Over night rubbish was left on the table without discarded. Breakfast was average.

The hotel is very conveniently located. The normal rooms were tiny and looked onto a next building and so we upgraded upon arrival to the king corner suites. This was beautiful with a magnificent view.
The problem with the hotel is it is understaffed and the staff have an inflexible can’t do attitude. The breakfast was terrible and after one breakfast we ate out for the next 2 days even though we had for the room with breakfast.
When we returned to Tokyo we booked another hotel across the road where the price was similar but helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast…. It made all the difference.

Hotel very clean with great amenities, freshly washed pyjamas everyday included in Executive Triple room. Bar closes at 11⁰⁰ p.m. Restaurant overpriced, same sides for every dish, unsucessfully trying for german style.
eg: "American Breakfast" menu starting with salad and vegetable soup
Location:
Right next to the expensive luxoury shops (Gucci, Rolex, Hermès, Prada, ...), great restaurants
Public Transit:
2 minutes walk from outwards bound Asakusa Line, 15 minutes walk from more important Ginza Station with Marunouchi Line, Ginza Line and Hibiya Line

I understand some of the other comments, this place is admittedly a bit “off”, that being said it is a very nice hotel in an outstanding location.
There are some language barriers with the staff but everyone that I encountered was incredibly nice, confused as opposed to apathetic.
The room was great, zero compliant with anything, good bed, great tech, and a solid design the view could have been much better but Tokyo is a compact city, you get what you pay for and to be in the center of Ginza in a large room I felt I paid a fair price. The room was cleaned every day to a very high standard
The only issue with this hotel is the lobby, it is truly more of a holding area than a lobby. The bar does not work for most of the day and there is no waiter service unless you are having brunch which seems to be an incredibly confusing process, on most mornings I just opted to leave the hotel directly without lingering.
I paid $300> per night in May, anything higher and I can see where the complaints start.
Cant stress how good the location is, if you want an easy and dare I say luxurious location (which is also a solid base for exploring Tokyo than this is a no brainer.

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a larger trip through Japan - 2 adults and 1 teen.
The hotel is well located if you're after a quieter part of Tokyo that is nonetheless convenient for all of the places you're likely to want to go to. It's easily 4 stars and our room was large, clean, well ventilated and comfortable. The lobby is decent, staff are attentive without being cloying and the breakfast is of good quality. They play Bach on a constant loop in all the public areas which dovetails with the theme I guess but its the same cliched 'hits' over and over. Picky, I know, but a bit of variety wouldn't go amiss.
Overall then, good hotel. Loved the quieter location - Ginza is pretty relaxed compared to other parts of the city and would stay here again, no problem.
