We rate this hotel five stars despite a few shortcomings because the main pluses are so good.

First the minuses: the rooms are the smallest we've ever stayed in however this is central Tokyo where space is very expensive. The double bed has walls on three sides however there is still room for two suit cases. The hotel isn't new however it is very clean and well maintained.

The first main plus is that the hotel is located in Ginza which is a great location and it is only a short walk from Shimbashi railway station and other subway stations and a short walk to the main shopping street and many eateries.

The best part of this hotel is the service. It is exceptional. There is a French man who knows how to sort out issues quickly and efficiently and is very unassuming. There is also a woman trainee from the sub continent who is also excellent with customer service. The other staff members are also very good.

The window in the room opens for fresh air and the air conditioning is good.

Our tips are: skip the breakfast option. There are lots of better options close by including convenience stores with much better food. There are many great eating options nearby and a wholesale grocery store that is close.

We stayed here for three nights and again for three nights a week later. Having stayed on both sides of the hotel it doesn't matter which side you stay.

Ibis Styles GInza surpasses the standard of service that a typical Ibis branded property promotes—especially compared to Ibis hotels in Paris. You’ll meet some of the best front office and housekeeping staff; clean, comfortable rooms (though smaller than typical US); great location; reasonable rates for Tokyo; accessible to pubic transit; and close to restaurants and shops. From Narita or Haneda airport, take the Airport Bus Limousine to Tokyo City Air Terminal (TCAT) and take a cab to the hotel (around USD 10).

The hotel is located on a side street, not on the main drag, so it is very quiet. Music could be heard from somewhere some nights, but nothing that couldn't be blocked out with a pair of earplugs, and I say this as a very light sleeper.

Two subway stations are within comfortable walking distance, Shimbashi (the closest to the hotel) and Ginza station, both servicing multiple lines. Tokyo Station and the imperial palace and gardens are about a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel.

I stayed 8 nights in a single room which was quite spacious compared to others I've experienced before in Tokyo. The bed was firm but not excessively hard. It was a little too firm for my tastes, but I still managed to sleep reasonably well. Everything was spotlessly clean.

A convenience store is located right across the street from the entrance where you can stock up on drinks, snacks etc. (convenience stores are usually the places I get my breakfast when I'm in in Japan).

But the real star of this hotel is the staff which are very kind and helpful. So a big thank you to Ryu the dragon, Daisuke, Bikas, Yuki, Her Highness Diana and everyone else whose names now unfortunately escape me for making my stay an enjoyable one.

I'd definitely consider staying at this hotel again next Time I'm in Tokyo.

PS. If you're looking for a good meal in the vicinity, I'd recommend Shinamen Hashigo Ginza which is located on the same street one block over to your right as you exit the hotel. Their dandanmien noodles with pork ribs are amazing.

Ginza is an excellent base for touring Tokyo and this hotel is perfectly located off the Main Street of Ginza, surrounded by reasonably priced restaurants, family marts/7Elevens and close to 2 subway stations (Ginza and Higashi Ginza). Like almost all hotels in Tokyo, the rooms are small but it has everything you could need including a safe, great shower and air conditioning during a heatwave. Being part of the Accor group, it has excellent in room amenities and professional service - check in and out was simple. It is easily walkable to the Tsukiji Outer Markets and Kabuzi-za theatre. I would happily return if touring Tokyo again.

Was a last minute booking due to changes to our travel plan because of the weather and I am glad to have chose this.

The hotel is nicely located in Ginza and considering the area of Ginza , I world say it is value for money though room is relatively small . Staff is extremely helpful as the Korea lady at the check in came out to help to find a parking area for our car. Parking in Tokyo is expensive but nonetheless the one opposite the hotel is reasonable for overnight parking.

As mentioned the room is extremely small but well maintained.

The selling point for this hotel is the 5-star rating for customer service. All of them, from Manager/s to Night Audit and Front Desk agents. Way better than high-rate/overpriced chain hotel hotel indigo (IHG). Great job Accor! The smaller rooms compensated for the phenomenal guest's service. I can't say much more. All of them go out of their way to help anyone. I work in the hotel as well, I wish we can hire the reservation mgr/mgr for this hotel and be our star-employee at our hotel here in Vancouver. ACCOR and the staff at this particular hotel truly understand that EXPERIENCE and true value the guest paying for the room rate is genuinely felt. Thank you for making me feel welcomed. I am so impressed with the demeanor of the entire staff. Best out of 3 hotels (1st Ibis; 2nd place Sequence hotel and 3rd epic fail Hotel Indigo Shibuya) from my stay in Tokyo last Jan 2024. Cheers and more success to this hotel and its staff.

This is my 2nd time to stay at Ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza. The first time was late 2022 which was perfect because this new hotel is located at prime area in Ginza which is surround by shopping & dining places and very convenient for travelling. But this time the room rate is increased by 250% compared to my previous visit which I think it's too expensive for the 14 sq.m room and breakfast is just a box of sandwiches.

This hotel located strategically in Ginza. It's walking distance to Uniqlo, Muji, Onitsuka, Sheisedo, and Yamaha Flagship store. It's too bad that the room was so small, compared with other ibis styles hotels in other countries. but it is understandable since perhaps the property in Tokyo is so expensive. You can not expect too much also when you want to use privilege as a platinum member, since they don't have any better room to be offered as upgrade room. They don't provide buffet breakfast, instead, they have set menu provided in the Thai restaurant in their premises.

The room was small. There were no amenities in the room, although the amenities (hairbrush, tea, etc) were available at the lobby. The guest has to get these himself.
The protruding vanity mirror in the bathroom was fixed on the wall in such a way that one bangs his head on it when moving inside the bathroom. The bathroom is so mall and moving inside was tricky because the shower and the toilet are located in such a small room.
There is no restaurant; the restaurant next door was not up to par with other restaurants in the vicinity. The food offering was supposed to be Thai but it was a total failure for me and my wife. Her pad Thai was too sour.
The only good thing with the hotel is its location. A short walk and one is already in the shopping center and many restaurants. Also, a Family Mart is located right in front of the hotel so one can buy groceries and food easily.
