Very friendly and helpful staff. Was travelling with an 8 month old baby, clean and comfortable room with everything I needed. Didn't notice any road noise despite being in room closest to a main road.

Drove into Balclutha not really knowing where to stay. Saw the Highway Lodge and drive in. I was lucky as I got the last room! A double bedroom unit with the bedrooms upstairs and everything else downstairs.

The room was comfortable and clean. However, the location between two highways makes it quite noisy. Also, when the water heater is on, the expansion pipe drips onto the metal roof like a Chinese water torture. If you don't mind noise, this place is fine....More

This Motel is a very pleasant place to say, clean, tidy, wonderful welcome and really hand to town. I was in Balclutha for the weekend and couldn't have asked for a more friendly and comfortable stay - thank you
